  1. Welcome to VT, Deckyon! Just by reading the posts here I've learned so much, I'm sure you'll do the same.
  2. That's all a part of my sooper sekrit "awesome" powers. Unfortunately, they only work on Christmas day. All the other days of the year...I'm totally clueless.
  3. Christopher, Thank you for all the hard work and long hours you spend making Vapor Talk a wonderful place for us all! This morning when I checked VT I noticed the snowflakes falling and thought them lovely. Just now I noticed how the snowflakes change direction depending on where your pointer is on the screen. That's absolutely brilliant! And more than a little amusing for me today. Just wanted to give a "thank you" shout for all the little things we may not notice but makes our experience here better and definitely more fun!
  4. Congrats on two years! That's a huge accomplishment that I hope to meet someday.
  5. See? And this is why I am even more awesome than Jeff...
  6. Aw, Jeff. Your video made me cry! That was just beautiful...
  7. Glad to hear it's finally working fine for you, Dan. Judging from what I've seen of their "customer service" on this thread (Rob comes in to semi-address the issue and then disappears and doesn't answer or address any other concerns), I think I'll be steering clear of Smoketek's site and take my business...anywhere else. Since you haven't posted anything about further contact from them, it seems safe to assume you haven't heard anything from Rob either.
  8. Congrats on switching to e-cigarettes, Mark. And welcome!
  9. Merry Christmas! May the new year bring you and your family nothing but joy and happiness.
  10. Sorry to hear none of that worked. Maybe the nano doesn't work with that type of battery is the only other thing I can think of, but I don't see why it wouldn't.
  11. Might try taking the nano off your battery, hold a tissue on the end (but hold it very loosely to let air flow through), then blow gently into the mouthpiece. You might have some primer inside the center piece that just needs to be blown out. Before taking a drag did you let it sit for a bit? It's good to do that so the liquid can get into the little holes in the bottom. I'm not sure if there's a wick inside, but if there is, it will need a little time to soak the liquid in. If that doesn't work, it might be that your battery isn't making a connection to your nano. Take the nano off, using a very small screw driver, GENTLY push up on the center piece. The youtube vid in the link below shows you how to do this. Make sure you're very gentle with it so you don't pop the center piece entirely out. If it does come out you can put it back in but it's better if you don't have to do that. ETA: Oops. Helps if I add the link. Sorry! Hope that helps!
  12. Unless, of course, I crack another porcelain crown on ranch flavored corn nuts.
  13. The great thing about places like EC Blends and Sweet-Vapes is that they sell 5 ml bottles. They're great for sampling juices to see what you like. The strawberry shortcake from EC Blends was so good I just ordered a larger bottle of it today...as well as about six other new-to-me flavors. Going middle of the road is a good start. You'll figure out what you like better as you go along. The more you read on this forum the more you'll learn. Sometimes it becomes a bit much, but that's why you ask questions. I'm still learning every day. The people here make it easier.
  14. EC Blend's website: https://www.ecblendflavors.com/ Sweet-Vapes.com http://www.sweet-vapes.com/ Sorry, I'm no help with the Dekang liquid as I've never tried it. If I'm not mistaken a Provari is a type of battery. What are you using on it? My personal preference is anything from 50 PG/VG, 60 PG/40 VG and/or 70 PG/30 VG -- it all depends on the flavor. The vanilla malt, chocolate malt and dulce de leche I prefer at 50/50. The strawberry malt is at 80 PG/20 VG. The nectarine is at 60 PG/40 VG. These taste the best when I'm direct dripping. When I use them in a Kangor T2, Vision Nano or Vision Stardust I prefer a higher PG ratio. With too high a VG ratio in the e-liquid, it tends to be too thick and gums things up easily. Now these are just my opinions and experiences. Others will have their own tales to tell.
  15. You are so cruel to your dentist! lol. Here's to hoping you never have to feel what it's like to have a dry socket. Mine went into overdrive trying to get his patients to "use up their yearly allowance" on their insurance to "get all the little things done" before the end of the year. Needless to say, we declined to take advantage of his offer. Thankfully, our teeth are about as fixed as they need to be. *knocks on wood*
  16. I've tried this brand. Basically, I think it's a knock off of the Kangor T3. After using it on and off for about a month or so...I'm not impressed. It works okay but mutes the flavor of the e-liquids more than I would prefer. It's not terrible, doesn't leak, does gurgle and makes some strange noises when I take a draw off of it. The most important thing, however, is if you like it. If it works for you, then that's what matters.
  17. Congrats on making the decision to vape instead of staying with analogs, and welcome to Vapor Talk. You've come to the right place to ask questions. You're right, there are a LOT of different options. Some better than others. We all have our personal favorites. My recommendation for you would be to go with an eGo twist or Vision Spinner. Both are very similar and work with a variety of different atomizers/cartomizers and tanks. Pair the twist or spinner with a Kangor T2, Kangor T3 or Vision Vivi nova (I prefer the mini) and you're off to a good start. The next question would be...which flavor of e-liquid would you like to vape?
  18. Just got a reply from Jennifer at Provapes: Yes, all of our juice is made with vegetable glycerine. The makers of our juice are the ones that actually provide the wording on their product, so I apologize for any confusion. Interesting. Now I know that Provapes doesn't make the juice they sell. Good to know. I think I prefer buying from those who make their own.
  19. Just out of curiosity I went to Provape's site and took a look. The premium e-liquids just say "USP Grade Gylcerine" with no explanation as to what kind of glycerine it is. The regular e-liquids state clearly that it's vegetable glycerine. So I checked their FAQ and found nothing. Sent an email to them to find out why the discrepancy in wording. Will let you know what they say.
  20. I recently ordered milk chocolate from Volcano Vapers but asked before making the purchase what ratio they used since it wasn't listed anywhere. They said most of their e-liquids (depends on which one), are made at 50/50 PG/VG. You might also try EC Blends. I've been ordering more and more from them. They have excellent selection, even better customer service, and nearly all the juices I've tried from them has been delicious!
  21. What Jeff said. Also, VG produces more vapor and PG is better at carrying flavors.
  22. Ha! Looks like you fixed it, Chris. Muchas gracias!
  23. Chris? I'm not liking this new auto-formatting here. Ugh. Can I put in my own html please? :P
  24. *raises hand* Yep, me too. I chain vape in the evenings for an hour or two while winding down at night.
