  1. Shhhh! Don't tell, Jeff, but I just ordered a blue one. And a red one. And a PURPLE one.
  2. Found them in all kinds of colors at Discount Vapers http://www.discountvapers.com/ego-cartos-clearos/ Now, please excuse me while I try to not click on anything...
  3. I got a purple one that came in last week! I love this thing and how long it lasts. The only complaint I have is the little "shelf" at the top of the battery under the button. Wish they could've made it flush with the battery. At least it's not sharp...
  4. What comes with these starter kits and how much do they want from them? That kind of information would be helpful before anyone can say whether these were good starter kits, but I don't think you can go wrong with eGo batteries. For example, here's a good starter kit: http://www.theveteranvaper.com/joye-ego-kit-matte-black/ I would also pick up a T2, T2, Vision Vivi Nova or a Vision Vivi Nova Mini clearomizer/tank to go with your starter kit. They're all easy and convenient - just fill and go. Welcome!
  5. Glad to hear you've been having positive experiences so far! The Veteran Vapor site and Brian are wonderful to work with. I'm getting ready to order some more stuff from him now. Good luck!
  6. I've tried both the sealed and unsealed adapter. Like I said, when I first tried them it was when I was new to dripping so that might've had something to do with what I experienced at the time. I'll give them another try now that I've been dripping for a while to see if I experience a difference. So far nearly all of your recommendations have been great, it's probably just me on this one.
  7. Hey! Not my fault you bought all that e-juice! I will, however, be happy to take the blame for your order at Vape Lite. Always happy to help spend someone else's money.
  8. It's been awhile since I've used them but if I remember correctly, I just didn't get as strong a vape (flavor, throat hit, vapor) with the 901s as I do with the 2.0 ohm Boge atomizer. I'll play with the voltage on the twist and spinner to see if I just missed my sweet spot. I was still relatively new to dripping when I got these so that might've been the problem right there. Thanks for the tips, Blu. Good to have you back!
  9. Which battery do you use these on, Rixter? I bought some from your rec awhile ago and never got them to work like you describe. I'm using them on my eGo twist. Do I need a stronger battery to get the best performance from these? Not sure what wattage a twist produces...
  10. Oooh, now I remember -- it's all your fault I've dropped so much money over at Vape Lite. Thank goodness Sure Vapes doesn't carry Boge atomizers, with those prices I'd have to stock up big time!
  11. As a matter of fact I just got my order of Boge atomizers from them today. So far I've found them to be wonderful to deal with and have bought quite a few things from their store -- including a couple of Vision Spinners.
  12. Welcome! I'm sure you'll like it here. The people are friendly and very helpful.
  13. Welcome! You've come to the right place.
  14. When I started dripping I was using joye 1.5 ohm LR atomizers. Have to agree with you: they're not consistent. Then, Rixter on this forum recommended Boge 2.0 LR atomizers and I've been hooked on them ever since. Out of ten only one popped within a day. The others have lasted quite a few weeks each. That might be worth a try?
  15. I hope everyone is doing well, and all the newbies are still getting the excellent and polite help that got when I started here. This is a special forum. Hi Dave! Yes, I can vouch for all the veteran vapers. They were more than nice and patient with me when I started, and they gave me the best and most helpful information. Still do.
  16. No clue. I change flavors so much throughout the day...that, and I don't count the drops I use.
  17. Wow. Bummer. The only advice I'd have for you then would be to get (if you want to continue with an eGo battery), something along the lines of the 1100 mAh so it holds a charge longer. Otherwise, how about a mod that you can change batteries for fresh ones when they lose their charge? I'm not familiar with them so others could give you better advice but it seems like the Vamo is very popular as is the ZMax. Those use batteries that you can take out/buy extras and keep them charged. Just a thought...
  18. If you're in one place for a while you can just use an AC adapter and plug in to any wall outlet.
  19. Happy New Year with the hope of many more!
  20. *squeals* PURPLE!!! But there's something about the various indentations on the outside that make the entire cylinder look like... *falls off chair laughing* Um...the rest of me will just be over in that nearby gutter keeping my mind company.
  21. That was great, Mark! Thanks for the peek into what's gone before.
  22. No apologies needed, Chris. Just wanted to let you know that your work on VT is appreciated!
  23. If you're using the link to The Veteran Vaper that Jeff linked you to, the page says it's an eGo-C 2.2 ohm Atomizer Head. I think, at 2.2 ohm, that would still be considered low resistance. Correct me if I'm wrong, guys. If you want lower resistance than that, you might try contacting Brian, the owner of The Veteran Vaper, and he might change it for you. Don't know for sure if he will or not, but it's worth asking. Brian's great to work with. As for the juice, I'd start out at 50 PG/50 VG and go from there to see what you like. Juice ratios and flavors are extremely subjective. What's great for one person will be terrible for another. You'll have to do the trial and error thing to figure out what works best for you. With the battery you're getting, you'll need to get an atomizer like this: http://www.theveteranvaper.com/joye-lr-510-atomizer-matte-black/ or this http://www.theveteranvaper.com/joye-510-atomizer-stainless/ a drip tip, and I would strongly suggest getting a drip shield and you can do the direct drip thing. The first link is to a low resistance (LR) 1.5 ohm atomizer. The second link is for a 2.2 ohm. You can get the drip shield from Empire Mods, be sure to get the one that specifically says "for eGO batteries" in the title description if you want it to fit over your battery threads to hide them.
  24. PG is thinner and carries flavors better. More VG = thicker juice but more vapor. *scratches head* I just got an odd sense of deja vu...
  25. Yeah, but does it change directions at your whim? Have fun and stay safe! You'll have to post a picture of your abominable snowman impression in the snow.
