Inferno battery stopped working
Tam replied to bdigital81's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
Just a thought but could it be that the battery center post isn't making contact with the atty? You can -- be very careful and do this slowly -- use a very small screw driver and work the center post of the battery higher. Might be worth a try? Here's a youtube vid that shows how. -
Usually it's the juices with high cinnamon and/or high citrus that will crack a tank. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't so your mileage may vary. As Dan said above about the dry burning, just recently I've started dry burning my atomizers before using to get rid of the stuff they put into it to keep the bridge wet. Other than that, with clearomizers, I never dry burn. It's all too easy to burn the wick and you don't want to go there. The taste is nasty!

How do I get better battery life from a standard eGoT?
Tam replied to 00MustangMom's topic in General Vaping Discussion
At GotVapes they sell for $27.95 plus s&h, which if pretty low if you go first class mail. Here's a link to the purple one. They also come in blue, black, chrome, silver, black and pink. Oops. Sorry, that's the link to all the Spinners. Just scroll down the page... http://www.gotvapes.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&x=0&y=0&keyword=spinner&dfrom=mm%2Fdd%2Fyyyy&dto=mm%2Fdd%2Fyyyy Do a search for Spinner and scroll down until you get to the 1300 mAh. -

If you want to stay with an eGo style battery I would suggest you get a Vision Spinner 1300. Even chain vaping they last a looooong time. It's a variable volt so if you don't crank it up you can get even more time out of it. -
TVR = The Vapor Room It's a site that sells e-liquids.

We all had to start somewhere and I think I've asked more than my fair share of "dumb questions" that were answered here by some really nice people. With a 1.5 ohm atomizer, if you want more throat hit, go with a higher PG e-liquid. If you have a variable voltage device like an eGo Twist or a Vision Spinner, bumping up the voltage will also help. What's the percentage of PG/VG that you're using?

Aw, Jeff. You're always pretty...in pink.

In a moment of weakness I picked up two new 900 mAh Vision Spinners - one in black and one in blue. Um...I don't recall where I ordered them from. Guess I'll find out in a day or two when they get here. I'm finding I prefer the 900s to the 1300 for some reason. Got 10 2-dram glass bottles with drip tops from Specialty Bottles today.
-
Doesn't Jeff have a pink eGo battery? If I remember correctly... I'm a female and the "cutest" that I go is my Vision Spinners (two in 900 mAh and one 1300 mAh) in purple with a matching purple drip shield and purple swirl drip tip. Okay, then there's the 650 mAh lavender eGo T with a CE4 and a matching lavender tip. Other than those concessions I'm more into, "How well does it work for me?"

And a very happy vaperversary to you, Dan! That's wonderful that you reached one year. May you celebrate many, many more.

Congrats, Rixter, on one great year!

So far I've found that anything I can put onto an eGo or Vision Spinner battery I can also use on an Inferno. That said, the inferno just doesn't have the oomph to give me a very satisfying vape on any atomizer, clearomizer, and/or cartomizer (and I have three...or was it four of these batteries that I bought on clearance). Like ECPMike said, I'd recommend you go with a Twist or a Spinner. I'm really hooked on the Spinner these days.

Along with what Uma said, if you ever get gurgling from your cartomizer, atomizer, clearomizer, etc. Just unscrew it from the battery, dab the battery post, hold the tissue very loosely under the CE4 (we're going to pretend that's what you're using for this example so I don't have to keep typing everything every time ) and blow through the mouth piece. Sometimes you get liquid inside the center post of the CE4 and that causes it to gurgle. Cleaning the battery post, dabbing out the under side of the CE4 and blowing through it to get the rest of the liquid out will also help. There are a lot of really nice people on this forum. So much knowledge all in one place!

Wow, that was a lot of work you put in to make this tutorial! Thank you for making it look easy. I may someday try it myself. -

Hey, we all make mistakes while we learn. Glad to help and hope your vaping trials go smoothly from now on. -
Like Kitsune I have several different things going on at all times. My main has been direct dripping once I got through the learning curve. Kit was great for helping me there! Other than direct dripping I'm very partial to my T2 (or eGo 2.4 CC clearomizer) with the short wicks. When I figured out they weren't going to make short wicks available anymore I bought a huge stock of them. Others I like are the Vision Nano for a bottom feeder. The EVOD I just got are...okay. The jury's still out on those. The MT3 and T3 are okay but not a favorite. Recently I also went back to the CE4 (Vision Stardust). It all depends on what you like, what mood you're in and the juices you're using in the individual clearomizers. Now, having said that I have a couple F15s coming along with a hole punch and extra cartomizers. I'm very curious about these after hearing so much about them for so long.

Um...without knowing what kind of cartomizer or clearomizer you were using I'll venture a guess that you filled it and didn't wait before vaping. That would lead to the wick or filler material (depending on whether you used a clearomizer or a cartomizer) not being given time to absorb the juice and get saturated before you vaped on it. Now that you have the burnt taste in there, it's next to impossible to get it out. I'd start fresh with a new one. This time, after filling, let it sit a few minutes to thoroughly get wet and let the wick/filler absorb and then take a hit. Should be better this time. Of course this is just in general terms since I don't know the details of what you're using. -
Like Kitsune and Proetus said, I'm in the "go ahead and light one up" camp. For the first five days after I bought my first ecig I still smoked. On the fifth day I just didn't want them anymore. Then, a month or two after having vaped exclusively, I started thinking about a cigarette and couldn't get it out of my mind. Once I lit up and took about three drags that was it for me. Even now, after all this time without an analog, about a month ago I tried one just out of curiosity and was so grossed out I had to go brush my teeth and take a shower.
-
A few days ago I picked up a couple of these to try. I like them much better than the T3/MT3s, although they do give off a very airy draw if you don't plug a hole. I've found that they changed the flavor of my current favorite Feels Like a Nut for me. This flavor is best direct dripping but the Strawberry Shortcake and blue berry comes out very good!

Looks like Brian at The Veteran Vaper has some http://www.theveteranvaper.com/evod-mt-bcc-metal-bottom-coil-changeable/

Picked up a purple and a steel colored EVOD at my local brick and mortar store (Vapor Source). Also got a pack of five replacement coils and a 50 ml bottle of Mojito. It came in 30 PG/70 VG - much thicker than I usually use so I'll be thinning it with some distilled water once it's steeped.

I think you'll really like the Spinners. Go you! for finding one, they're always out of stock. I'm waiting for Gotvapes to get more 900 mAh in chrome right now.

My review for the Blu Magnificent Menthol Disposable.
Tam replied to willmon22's topic in e Cigarette Reviews
Yes, I have a 1100 mAh Twist and, although I like it, I much prefer my Spinners, especially for direct dripping. The numbers on the Spinner are so much easier to see so I can figure out how many volts I'm at. The Twist? Not so much. I have to put it under a bright light and hold it juuuuust so so that the numbers might show up. The numbers are etched into the base so it's all the same color of silver. They're both good batteries, it's just easier to see the Spinner's numbers. Don't feel bad about taking notes. I've got a whole notebook of scribbles myself. -

Do you mean the 900 mAh? I have five or six 650 mAh pass throughs that I loved before getting my first 900 mAh Spinner. The 900 keeps me from having to charge so often yet it's still thin and easy to take with me everywhere. The 1300 keeps its charge for longer but that also means it takes longer to recharge. It's wider around, heavier, and for some reason I can't seem to find my sweet spot like I can with my 900s even if I set them both at 4.0 volts. That might just be this 1300, it could be me, or all of the above. Just partial to the 900 as it hits all the right buttons with me on all kinds of different levels.
