I buy from these two vendors quite often with very good results.

Where is the bset place to keep my juice?
Tam replied to Patricia's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
There was a news story recently about an e-cig battery exploding when it was left inside a car on a hot day. As much heat can rise inside a closed car in summer I wouldn't leave anything -- juice included -- inside the sweat box. Better to take it with you or, like Kitsune suggested, get a cooler and make sure you have ice packs inside to keep it cool. -
So far, out of all the different atomizers I've tried, it has the smoothest vape -- although I think I vaped the first one to death between yesterday and today. I'll definitely be getting more from Brian. Now that I know what to do with the outer cartridge and how to remove the darned thing, the five I initially ordered aren't going to be enough. LOL! Thanks for the excellent rec, Kit.

If you're thinking of buying these things for the Pro Tank you're wasting your money because it's not designed to be customized like that. You use it straight out of the box after filling it with juice. All you want to do is to make sure everything is tightened (not too tight) so you don't get leaking. Those three things you want to buy will work if you're direct dripping and/or if you're using a cartomizer. I get glass bottles to use with many of my juices at Specialty Bottles http://www.specialtybottle.com/ Other vendors sell the empty plastic bottles if that's what you're looking for. I prefer glass whenever I need to transfer a juice to something other than the original it came in.

Just keep in mind that flavors are subjective. What tastes vile to one vapor will be nirvana to another. No one flavor will taste the same to everyone.
-
No problem, Patricia. Just wanted to make sure you got the answer you were looking for. Direct dripping is the best method to taste the true flavor of your juice without any muting. That's because it doesn't go through a wick first, it gets dripped directly onto the heating coil. After Kitsune got me started I mostly direct drip for vaping and only use tanks or clearomizers when I'm driving for safety factors. There's a learning curve associated with direct dripping but worth it when you taste the flavor the way it's meant to be.

I answered you here, Patricia.

The Pro Tank will fit on your eGo without having to use any adapters. The mouth piece is fixed so you won't need a drip tip (and can't use it). It comes with a collar to help hide the threads of your battery - otherwise, it's pretty much self contained. Nothing extra needed other than juice. And yes, because pyrex is heavier than plastic, it's heavier than a Vivi Nova. A mod is a modified battery so a big chrome mod is a big chrome battery.

On the quest to find a good vanilla
Tam replied to ineedagoodvaper's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
Vapor production depends on your PG/VG ratio that you choose in your e-liquid when you order. More VG = more vapor. Be careful of 100% VG as this could clog your wicks. Even a 50/50 ratio gives you plenty of vapor. -
Thanks, Rixter. I got several of the Delrin XL 306 drip tips with the atomizers just so I'd be ready. Great tips for getting the pesky plastic covers off. Thanks again!

On the quest to find a good vanilla

Try EC Blends. You can customize to your heart's delight and they have so many different flavors it'll make your head spin...even roast beef if you like. -
For the most part 90% of my juices now come from EC Blends. I had a...less than good experience with Sweet-Vapes so I don't order from them anymore if I can help it. Roughly what percentage of the time that you order new juices are they great right out of the box? It all depends on the flavor for me. The fruit flavors are usually great right "out of the box", I've only had a few that needed to steep a little while before it got good. The heavier flavors like some of the bakery and coffees usually take about a week or more. What vendors give you consistently good juices? EC Blends also gives me consistently great customer service as well as so many ways to customize the juices to what I want. The Vapor Room also has some really delicious stuff and great customer service. Virgin Vapors is wonderful for the organic 100% VG juices. I've tried so many different places but these are my favorites so far. What are your experiences with ordering new juices? For the most part my experiences have been really good with the exception noted above. Also, after awhile it seemed like the juices weren't consistent and I got a couple of bottles that tasted...old. They were pre-steeped and the color of the juice was very dark when an earlier bottle of the same stuff came light and turned dark after a month or more. EC Blends takes a few days to ship out your order because they don't make it until you order. I like that. Also, they ran into trouble with the lids of their juices one time and it came a little moist. They send their juices in a sealed bag. If you order more than one, the sealed bag is inside another sealed bag so the juice didn't make it out of the first one. When I contacted them about the leaky bottle and asked for a new label, they sent me another full bottle of the juice with a better lid. The leak wasn't enough to amount to 20 drops and I just wanted the label so I could put it on one of my glass bottles. I certainly didn't expect a whole, new 50 ml to be sent priority shipping! As you continue vaping you'll find which vendors work best for you and what you like. I order anything between 0 and 24 mg nicotine, usually 50 PG/50 VG up to 70 PG/30 VG.

Yeah, I got the first hand experience in how hard it is to get off. Lol. Killed one of the 306 drip tips trying to "make it fit" into the cartridge once I popped the rubber tip off. Thanks for the tip on not pushing the drip tip all the way back, Mac!
-
You betcha! With the friendly, fast service and excellent after-care, he's got a fan for life.
-
Never mind. Brian just got me going. It seems like the outside cartridge was being stubborn and wouldn't come off. It's working like a charm now! I think I just found the perfect atomizer. Will probably be ordering more of these from Brian soon-ish.
-
Okay, Kitsune recommended 306 atomizers to me so I ordered some from Brian at The Veteran Vaper. They came in today and...I'm a little confused. That's not so unusual but here goes. The 306 has a little rubber cap on the top with a tiny little hole. Okay, so I pop that out and there's another...something with a tiny little hole under that. This is good so the juice doesn't come back up. My question is this: how I do drip with these? The second thing inside won't come out -- unless there's a trick I don't know about. Is it supposed to stay there? The juice kind of just sits there until I blow into it to force it down. I did get it to work and it's wonderful but I would like an easier way to drip into these things. Help? As an aside, Brian sent these out to me very quickly with the same excellent customer service I've come to rely on from him. He even had a note inside (typed because he says his penmanship isn't the best. Jealous, Jeff? ), giving me an update on an eGo 1000 mAh Twist I'd bought and had a problem charging. For those who haven't read that review from me, I bought the Twist and it charged okay the first time but wouldn't connect the second. When I contacted Brian about it he sent out a new one with a new charger immediately without me having to send him the old one first. Inside the new package was a return label to send the defective-to-me Twist and charger back. At this point we didn't know if it was the charger or the Twist. I was willing to wait while he tested them and then replace the non-working one but he wouldn't have it and insisted on sending me brand new ones while keeping me apprised on what he found out. The Veteran Vaper store is wonderful. Brian is even better!

I have both and like both. The Pro Tank has a very airy draw, but if I cover up a few of the air holes it works perfectly for me. LOTS of vapor and very inexpensive replacement coils. They use the same ones that fit on an EVOD. If they ever made a tank with coils on the top and bottom you'd most likely get dry hits from the top - totally redundant and unnecessary in my opinion.
-
Which Kanger tanks have the coils at the top and the bottom? Are they inside the same tank, or are you asking about which type (top or bottom) is the "best" one? I like both. Some top ones are preferred for different juices while other bottom feeders are better for me with other juices. The pyrex glass tanks are good (like the Pro Tank), for those who like juices high in citrus and/or cinnamon because they won't crack. These types of juices sometimes (not often) can crack a plastic tank.
-
Color me so not surprised. This is why I prefer to order from Brian, although sometimes it's not quite so fast because he does have a day job. And if you ever have a problem - he's right on top of it.

Sanity is over rated, Jeff.

You might also check out Stormy's Vapor Cellar http://stormysvaporcellar.com/oc_1/index.php?route=product/search&search=T2 I've been ordering more stuff from her lately. She has the best drip tips! My order just shipped - $40 worth of different drip tips. >__<

I tried a couple of other places where I order regularly and they also carry the replacement coils but I prefer to buy from Brian as much as I can because of his customer service. You may be shopping in the wrong places.

We all make mistakes when we start out. There's so much to learn about all the different things out there now. I hope this fixes your problems.
