  1. Nope. Not all chocolate are the same flavor.
  2. San Jose is a fun place. Now it's even better with the Vape Bar. How cool to have something like that in your neighborhood! Next time I'm in San Francisco I'll take a side trip to San Jose. The Winchester House needs a second visit and the Vapor Bar needs a first.
  3. When you're getting off the analogs, there is no "small" milestone. Congrats!
  4. *rubs hands together, cackles evilly* So, are you using a 510 or 306 or 901 or... Direct dripping really is the fine wine of vaping.
  5. They're pretty amazing. Once all my outstanding orders come in I'll take stock and probably order a few more of these. Right now I can't remember if I reordered them or not. This is one draw back to practicing the "back ups of back ups" theory.
  6. A Vision Nano sounds like the perfect thing for you, it only holds 1 ml of juice so you don't have to "commit" to one flavor if you don't want to. I have a bunch of different clearomizers going at one time with different juices so all I have to do is switch them out.
  7. Congrats on the first and hardest six months, Steve! Can't wait to say 'congrats' on your one year.
  8. How's this? You upload the pic onto something like imageshack or photobucket. Get the direct link URL and then click on the "picture" on the post and insert URL. Hit "post" et voila!
  9. Poor guy couldn't catch a break. After the first time he took all the precautions but still wound up getting hit again. And again. He now has a lightning rod on his house and stays in his basement when storm clouds appear. Your friend was very lucky to have you around! Which reminds me...I need to recert for CPR I think my card's lapsed.
  10. A friend of mine got struck by lightning three times. He's not quite right anymore...
  11. When you get a new order of juices sometimes they are not very tasty right away. They need to "steep" for a week or more. That means you set it aside in a cool, dark place and shake it once a day. Usually, it works better if you can take the lid off to let it "breathe" while steeping. Then, when some time has passed the juices will taste better as they've had time to mature. Some of the juices I've gotten are vile until they steep awhile. Then, they're delicious. Other times, no matter how long I let it steep, it's still vile. Lol.
  12. Some people are allergic to the PG in juices. That might be your problem. I'd try some 100% VG or a very low amount of PG to see if that makes a difference. Just be aware that a lot of 100% VG juices tend to be thick and can clog wicks or cartomizers. A little bit of distilled water can thin it down though.
  13. Why Jeff, I never knew you even had a Christmas card list!
  14. *grabs popcorn* This should be good. Jeff vs Blucavvy. I'm not sure who I'm rooting for!
  15. There are lovely things called "adapters" that allow you to use things with a 510 threading on other devices. Double check with Brian about his adapters here: http://www.theveteranvaper.com/ecig-adapters/ With cartomizers my experience is fairly limited because the darned things hate me, but I seem to remember that once you get the burned taste it won't come out and you just have to chuck it and start with a fresh one. Someone else who is more experienced with these will be able to give you more information. Sorry! Yes. Back ups are essential. And back ups of back ups. Since these aren't regulated you never know if you get one bad one or a whole batch. Thankfully, with the vendors I do most of my business with, this hasn't been an issue other than the rare one here and there.
  16. A 50/50 ratio shouldn't be too thick to wick up, it might take a little longer but shouldn't be a problem. I use 50/50 all the time with no problems. If you want to thin it out a bit you can either 1.) get a non-flavored PG mix in the nic strength of your choice or 2.) add just a drop or five of distilled water to your juice. You don't want to be vaping regular tap. Try putting the juice into a different bottle and mix just a little so you don't wind up ruining your whole bottle. It's easier to add a little more juice if you thin it too much than to have to get a whole new bottle to try to fix.
  17. T2s are wonderful things. Just remember to keep tipping so the wicks stay wet. Brian at The Veteran Vaper store sells these. He has nothing but the very best customer service you'll see anywhere.
  18. So far the only bottom feeder I've tried that doesn't leak has been the Vision Nano. Just cleaned out several T3, MT3, and EVOD tanks yesterday because they all leaked. Thankfully, I had them in a plastic box so the liquid didn't go anywhere else. Direct dripping takes care of the leakage problem nicely, though.
  19. The EVOD is a bottom feeder (if I remember correctly), while the T2 has the coil on top with a long wick.
  20. Welcome and congrats on getting off analogs! There are a lot of really nice people here who are more than willing to help a noobie, all you have to do is ask.
  21. Tam

    hello

    Welcome.
  22. Try running some hot water over the base (after removing clearomizer from battery first ) then, if it's still not cooperating I'd use a couple of small pieces of rubber shelf liner to give you a better grip. In a pinch, wind a couple of rubber bands around the base of the clearomizer and the main tank. That should help?
  23. Welcome!

  25. If I were you, and this is just my opinion, mind... I'd go with a 24 mg juice. If it's a bit strong you don't have to vape as much or as often but you'll get the hit you need. Initially, I'd start with that and then go to a lower level. If you're coming off of cigars, that's a lot of nicotine compared to a cigarette. Just my two cents.
