How's this? You upload the pic onto something like imageshack or photobucket. Get the direct link URL and then click on the "picture" on the post and insert URL. Hit "post" et voila!

Poor guy couldn't catch a break. After the first time he took all the precautions but still wound up getting hit again. And again. He now has a lightning rod on his house and stays in his basement when storm clouds appear. Your friend was very lucky to have you around! Which reminds me...I need to recert for CPR I think my card's lapsed.

A friend of mine got struck by lightning three times. He's not quite right anymore...

When you get a new order of juices sometimes they are not very tasty right away. They need to "steep" for a week or more. That means you set it aside in a cool, dark place and shake it once a day. Usually, it works better if you can take the lid off to let it "breathe" while steeping. Then, when some time has passed the juices will taste better as they've had time to mature. Some of the juices I've gotten are vile until they steep awhile. Then, they're delicious. Other times, no matter how long I let it steep, it's still vile. Lol.

Some people are allergic to the PG in juices. That might be your problem. I'd try some 100% VG or a very low amount of PG to see if that makes a difference. Just be aware that a lot of 100% VG juices tend to be thick and can clog wicks or cartomizers. A little bit of distilled water can thin it down though.

Why Jeff, I never knew you even had a Christmas card list!

*grabs popcorn* This should be good. Jeff vs Blucavvy. I'm not sure who I'm rooting for!

Are some juices too thick for some carts or clearomizers?
Tam replied to Thesheepdog's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
There are lovely things called "adapters" that allow you to use things with a 510 threading on other devices. Double check with Brian about his adapters here: http://www.theveteranvaper.com/ecig-adapters/ With cartomizers my experience is fairly limited because the darned things hate me, but I seem to remember that once you get the burned taste it won't come out and you just have to chuck it and start with a fresh one. Someone else who is more experienced with these will be able to give you more information. Sorry! Yes. Back ups are essential. And back ups of back ups. Since these aren't regulated you never know if you get one bad one or a whole batch. Thankfully, with the vendors I do most of my business with, this hasn't been an issue other than the rare one here and there. -

A 50/50 ratio shouldn't be too thick to wick up, it might take a little longer but shouldn't be a problem. I use 50/50 all the time with no problems. If you want to thin it out a bit you can either 1.) get a non-flavored PG mix in the nic strength of your choice or 2.) add just a drop or five of distilled water to your juice. You don't want to be vaping regular tap. Try putting the juice into a different bottle and mix just a little so you don't wind up ruining your whole bottle. It's easier to add a little more juice if you thin it too much than to have to get a whole new bottle to try to fix. -
T2s are wonderful things. Just remember to keep tipping so the wicks stay wet. Brian at The Veteran Vaper store sells these. He has nothing but the very best customer service you'll see anywhere.

So far the only bottom feeder I've tried that doesn't leak has been the Vision Nano. Just cleaned out several T3, MT3, and EVOD tanks yesterday because they all leaked. Thankfully, I had them in a plastic box so the liquid didn't go anywhere else. Direct dripping takes care of the leakage problem nicely, though.
-
The EVOD is a bottom feeder (if I remember correctly), while the T2 has the coil on top with a long wick.

Welcome and congrats on getting off analogs! There are a lot of really nice people here who are more than willing to help a noobie, all you have to do is ask.

Try running some hot water over the base (after removing clearomizer from battery first ) then, if it's still not cooperating I'd use a couple of small pieces of rubber shelf liner to give you a better grip. In a pinch, wind a couple of rubber bands around the base of the clearomizer and the main tank. That should help?

Lapsing to Analogs When You Can't Charge Your Battery
Tam replied to MistaVapa's topic in General Vaping Discussion
If I were you, and this is just my opinion, mind... I'd go with a 24 mg juice. If it's a bit strong you don't have to vape as much or as often but you'll get the hit you need. Initially, I'd start with that and then go to a lower level. If you're coming off of cigars, that's a lot of nicotine compared to a cigarette. Just my two cents. -
Is that why you're "Bebop"?
-
12 mg is loosely considered to be the equivalent to a light, while 24 mg is more like the full flavored. When I smoked it was Marlboro Lights but started with 24 mg juice until I got completely off the cigs. Then, I went down to 12 mg. These days I have anything from 0 - 24 mg. The 6 and 12 mg is what sees the most use, but when I can't vape as often I use the 24 to get a quick hit and then go on. Your body's going through a lot of changes right now, detoxing from all the carcinogens that you used to take in from the analogs so you're going to see a few unpleasant things. Make sure to drink plenty of water as vaping dehydrates you. Give it a couple of months to fully adjust. You're on the right track! Direct dripping gives you the most pure flavor of the juice you can get but it does have a pretty good learning curve. I'd stick with clearomizers for now until you get the hang of things. Then, when you get settled down, you can try direct dripping. It'll open up a whole new avenue, but learning to walk before trying to run is good.

The T2s mute the flavors of my juices much less than others I've found. Still, ever since Kitsune got me started on direct dripping that's my main delivery system. If it wasn't for her and others' help on this forum I might've not made it past the learning curve. What mg of nicotine are you getting? That might also affect how you get on with vaping.
-
All the different delivery systems for the batteries are a matter of personal preference, which is why we tend to have so many different ones to try to find the "perfect vape". What works for one doesn't work well for another, just like juices: what tastes great to one person will taste like smelly socks to another. The only thing I can tell you is to try different clearomizers until you find one that works for you. In my experience the bottom feeders work better for me, with the exception of my T2s. I'm in love with these with the short wick but I don't think short wicks are available anymore. Good thing I bought nearly all of Brian's stock at The Veteran Vaper when he still had them. Lol! Several forum members here love the T2 with the longer wicks and swear by them. I'm looking at you bcartervol98. Aaaaaand I just noticed that my MT3 that has juice in it is leaking but that's also a good clearomizer to use. I just left it sitting too long is all. Half the fun of vaping is trying new stuff. We here at Vapor Talk are very good about helping you spend money on all kinds of new toys. Join the club and start trying the current "new and improved" gadgets, it's still cheaper than smoking cigarettes.

Could be that your center post has been pushed down. Here's a youtube vid that shows you how to fix that. The second vid shows how to pull the post of your cartomizer or clearomizer. I'd try to pull up the post of your battery first, though. Hope one of these fixes your problem.

CC = Changeable Coils The T2s have the coils on top while the T3s are bottom feeders (coils are on the bottom).

Yeah, and not everyone tastes good....
