I think I'm going to wait for the second version of the Pro Tank, the one where you can change the drip tip, but thanks for the heads up on the mini! Who knows, I might need to try it out if I can't wait for the other... So many new toys to try, so little time and money.

Anyone on here read books....

Thanks for the recs. Ever since I discovered ebooks I've been reading a minimum of three per week. I love reading! -
Aw, c'mon, Medic. I won't bite...much. Ever take a strong draw and get juice in your mouth? If you use a long drip tip or a universal with your favorite drip tip, it gives you the extra length so it not only cools the vapor just a bit, but it also keep the juice from getting into your mouth. http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/driptaxxxl.htm http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/chrryuni.htm The universal you can use by itself or you can add your favorite drip tip on the top.

That's why I can't wait until the second version comes out: replaceable drip tips. I can use my favorite instead of the metal one that doesn't come off in the original.

Ha! We have another convert! Lol. Dripping is sooooo gooooood. It's hard for me to use clearomizers any more, the taste is that different. Now, we need to talk about drip tips.... *evil grin*
-
That guy sounds like he was trying to convince himself more than you, Mike. He probably wanted off the analogs but was afraid to try... Good for you that you took the high road because we all know vaping is so much more fun!

Totally agree with Medic's #4. It's a huge mess with liquid running everywhere if you accidentally unscrew the base from the battery instead of the whole tank.
-
Gurgling usually happens in tanks when some liquid gets into the center post. All you have to do is take the tank off the battery, hold a tissue loosely around the bottom (where the tank screws into the battery), blow into the mouth piece to clear the center post. Dab tissue into battery to collect the juice there, rescrew in the tank and you should be good to go. From my experience with the Pro Tank dry burning is not necessary. Topping off means to fill it up. In this instance he was saying keep it filled, which I don't find necessary with the Pro Tank. This guy might be over filling his tank, which is why he keeps getting gurgling. At least that's what it sounds like to me with your descriptions and not having seen the vid in question.

I expect that the vendors are still putting their stuff up on the site but I wish there were more selection with dripping atomizers. The only ones I saw were for eGo-C and T with very few for the 510 available. If possible I'd love to see 306 and more 510s (both bridged and debridged) on the site. There. My two cents and I haven't even had a sip of coffee yet, so if you see misspelled words and/or me not making sense more than usual -- that's why.
-
I have different juices in different clearomizers so all I have to do is to switch those instead of cleaning one out and refilling. Much less waste that way -- for me.

The first two 50 ml bottles I just just vaped it by itself. Later on I finally added a little to strawberry shortcake and...yeah, it's really good. I think I prefer it by itself but that's just me. Since I developed an allergy to chocolate at 18 it's been a treat to be able to taste real chocolate again without having to worry about where I left that epi pen.

The Dragon's Tear was really good almost out of the mailbox. I put it aside for a bit and went back to it, and it was even better. Then, I got sidetracked with all kinds of different flavors and now, several months have gone by. Tried it again and...it's sooooo good! Yeah, steeping is a must for some. Rixter got me started with EC Blends and their Chocolate Malt extra flavor. That's good without steeping - even better if you let it sit - if it lasts long enough.
-
Let the clove sit for a week or four and then go back to see how you like it. Sometimes, with flavors like clove, you'll find it gets so much better with a little steeping time. It might become your all day vape, you never know. ETA: And your original post? Thanks a lot. You just made me go over to EC Blends to order some more juices...like I really needed more. *rolls eyes at self*
-
Personally, I go through 3 - 5 flavors a day minimum, it does depend on what I feel like at the time. I just keep different clearomizers or atomizers going with different flavors so I don't have to worry about wasting juice. Save the juice or throw it out? Depends on how dark the juice is from what it was originally. If it's significantly darker I'd throw it out. If it's still pretty clear then I'd find a new bottle to store it. Do NOT put it back to mix with the unused juice. I'm sure others will chime in directly, but that's my opinion.

Look up my post/review of Empire Mods and you'll get a taste of what kind of customer service he gives. If you ordered it from Keith, you're sure to get a really great set up. If you don't, he'll make it right.
-
Keith, owner of Empire Mods, gives excellent customer service and even better quality product. I love that place.

If you're going to direct drip you really do need a drip shield, not a cone. The cone is made to make things look pretty - it doesn't have the ventilation you need to get a really good draw. I used one and after awhile I noticed that the extra juice would leak through the threads of the cone. You don't get that with a drip shield. The cone can also produce a really tight draw and more heat because it's not meant to do anything - not so with the drip shield.

My favorite so far has been right at around 2.0 ohm and I vape at 4 volts on my Spinner. That's what works best for me (except I turn it down a bit for fruit flavors). YMMV.
-
Totally agree with Blucavvy. You need to direct drip if you want to change flavors on the fly. I will add that the first time you use the atty you'll want to put in 4 - 6 drops of juice to prime the coil and/or bridge, then, you can go with a drop or two at a time. I let mine sit for a minute before vaping the first time. YMMV. I'd also keep like flavors per atomizer. All my fruit flavors are used in one, bakery flavors in another. Every time you change flavors the old one will linger for a few hits (or longer) so you'll get a blend of old and new juice for awhile. Not good if your flavors aren't compatible. Keith at Empire Mods is great to deal with and he has so many different styles and types of drip tips.
-
I'm in awe of your strong Google-fu, Jeff.
-
What type of atty is that, Jeff?
-
*squeals* I love the Pro Tank 2! Can't wait to try one. One of the big draws for me is that I can change the drip tip to my favorite and not have to be stuck with one. Then, I really like that you can replace each piece. *tries to wait patiently*

It shouldn't give you any trouble, but I'd keep an eye on it if you go with a higher VG.
-
I'd perhaps go with 60 VG/40 PG or 75 VG/25 PG. Just remember that higher VG can be thicker so it might gunk up your wicks.
-
Before doing anything like that I'd go with a higher VG ratio in your juice. What are you using now?
