  1. The eGo C 650 mAh pass through was my very first battery. It's still working today but I much prefer my Vision Spinners. There's no comparison for the performance.
  2. I love that my 2009 Chevy Impala only says Impala on the outside. Under the body is a BUICK! Although I still miss my '94 Pontiac Gran Prix. That baby could kick @$$ and take names...
  3. Dead as in 'they need to be charged' or dead as in it's broken? If it needs to be recharged you might want to consider a pass through as one of your back ups. You can vape on these while it's charging to there's no need to be without...
  4. After all the different types I've tried (and believe me I've tried a LOT), my favorites are the T2, Vision Nano and the new Vision Victory VT. The T3, MT3, iClear 30, Kangor Pro Tank, EVOD... none of these did it for me and, aside from the Vision Nano, bottom feeders seem to hate me. My main preference is direct dripping. I keep 2.0 ohm Boge atomizers, 2.0 ohm Smoktek atomizers, and 2.0 ohm Smoktek Bridgeless atomizers on hand at all times. The 306s are still a little buggy for me for some reason. Also, the Vision Eternity RDA has fast become a favorite.
  5. I got a kick out of all the answers here so far. For me I think I'm still an aspiring e-cig geek. Got my first Fluke meter nearly 20 years ago so that couldn't be it, and my SO has also been raiding my tool box for nearly as long. Can't figure out why since he has a professional grade rolling tool cabinet filled to the gills with Snap On tools. He seems to like what's in my top cabinet tool box better. Lol.
  6. I'm a GM type of gal. All we buy are GM products...even if Ford in Dearborn made a very tempting job offer to me once upon a time.
  7. Like Bcarter said, it does have a tighter draw than a Pro Tank but that's what I like about them. The Pro Tank, for me, is much too airy. The flavor I get from the Victory (VT) is the closest I've ever experienced to direct dripping that I've been finding myself using the VT more often. This hasn't happened before since I started dripping. YMMV.
  8. I will never go back to analogs. After switching to vaping I feel so much better now, why would I want to go back? I'd probably pay the price and get into DIY. For some time now I've been thinking about it anyway.
  9. The strawberry shortcake is better after some steeping to let the strawberry come through. Right out of the mail box all I could taste was the "cake" but now it's getting better. Waiting for more from Vape Dudes now. Lots of coffee flavors.
  10. Not sure what Sweet-Vapes will do about an exchange, but you might go for the 900 mAh battery rather than the 650. The 900 mAh is the same size as a 650 except it's a little longer (not much), and will hold a charge for much longer than the 650. Just a thought.
  11. Ugh. Black jelly beans. *shudders in horror*
  12. A Vivi Nova is a tank but can also be called a clearomizer. A cart or cartomizer is an atomizer with filler inside. So many times people use names interchangeably. That makes talking about e-cig equipment into a fun challenge.
  13. Thanks. Good to know that I don't need to put extra things on to make this work. Now, I just need to keep an eye out for when more 2.0 ohm atomizers become available.
  14. The whole Dragon series from EC Blends has been delicious. I don't think they've made one yet that I haven't liked.
  15. Today, I gather all the noobs to vaping into direct dripping on Vapor Talk. Tomorrow, the WORLD!!! Mwahahaha! Hey, just call me and I'll get you started: 1-800-mwa-haha
  16. Darn you, Rixter. Now you've gone and made me want one too! And they're out of 2.0 ohm ones. *sighs* I would've been okay with any color but they're out all the way across the board. I've fallen in love with the 2.0 ohm atties. Tried higher and lower and keep coming back to the 2.0. Guess I'll just have to wait until he restocks these. *sighs again* ETA: Do these need the 510 to 510 adapter/extender? I know I have one around here somewhere...
  17. I love Vapor Kings and have ordered quite a few things from there. If I'm not mistaken it's a "new product" for them on their site. I double and triple checked what you linked to to the one I have and its packaging. Yes, I still have the plastic box it came in. The extra wicks are in there so I know what they go to and they're the very same product. Still not impressed. It's...okay but nothing that other, cheaper clearomizers won't do. Sometimes the others work better. The extra wicks just soak up more juice but I'm not seeing an improvement on vapor, there's more muting of flavor too. At least that's my take on this one, Jeff.
  18. I got one of these a while back. Wasn't impressed.
  19. Strawberry Fields with extra flavor dripped into a 510 atty is...nirvana. Really. The taste is just incredible! Thanks for the rec, B. If you need any help with dripping, just give me a shout. Oh, and when you first get the atty, it'll come drenched in a liquid. Wipe it dry, blow into the top to get the rest out (make sure to hold a tissue loosely at the battery connection end to catch the liquid). I put a bit of tissue into it to sop up the rest and let it sit for about ten minutes. Then, the first time you drip, go with about 4 - 6 drops. Let it sit the first time around for a few seconds to let the wick soak up the juice, then vape. The first few hits may not taste like anything until it's properly primed. Then, you can just use two to three drops per. Delicious!
  20. Feels Like a Nut right now. Lol! But I'm seeing a switch to Strawberry Fields coming along shortly.
  21. If you've been smoking cigars I'd definitely go with some 24 mg juices. You'll also want some in 18 mg, 12 mg and maybe even some 6 mg. A very loose comparison would be: 24 mg = full flavor cigarettes 18 mg = medium 12 mg = lights 6 mg = ultra lights If it were me I'd go with either a 50 PG/50 VG ratio or a 60 PG/40 VG until you know more of what you want. The more PG = more throat hit, better flavor delivery, thinner juice. The more VG = a little sweeter (not much and you probably won't even notice this at first), more vapor, thicker juice (with thicker juice you run a higher chance of gumming up your wicks faster making any clearomizer not work as well for as long as a juice higher in PG). Go with a variable voltage battery like an eGo Twist or a Vision Spinner. This way you can increase the voltage depending on your juice. Some take a higher voltage to taste their best while others take lower. My fruit flavors like lower while my bakery flavors taste better/better throat hit at higher. Start low and turn up a little at a time until it starts tasting burnt then back it down 'til it tastes good to you. My preference is the Vision Spinner. You can find one at the Vapor Talk Market Place. Brian, the owner of The Veteran Vaper, has a Vision Spinner available and come very highly recommended here on the forum by everyone who has done business with him, myself included. He answers all questions and is a wealth of patience and information. http://www.theveteranvaper.com/vision-spinner-1300mah-variable-voltage-battery/ Pick up a charger, an AC adapter, several clearomizers so you can fill with different flavors and/or nicotine amounts and you should be set. I used to smoke a pack of Marlboro Lights a day but started with 24 mg to get off the things. I then went down to 12 mg, then 6 mg. These days I mostly use around 12 but keep some 24 handy in case I need a hit but don't have time to vape long. When I'm chain vaping I go from 0 - 12 and anything in between. Good luck!
  22. I totally agree with IMEDICx90's recommendations. They're rock solid and you won't need to upgrade anytime soon.
