Using a different delivery method that's new and has a learning curve is much like trying to quit smoking. If you're not of the mindset to want to change to it, it's not going to be for you. Different things work best for different people. If tanks and clearomizers are what you like, then it's good that you found something that works for you. No need to fix what ain't broken. Glad you gave it a try anyway. That said, not all atomizers are the same. I've had some that had incredibly tight draws while others were so airy that it hit like the Pro Tank for me. I think, of all the different ones I've tried, the Boge 2.0 ohm that Rixter linked to, and the Smoktek 2.0 ohm bridgeless atomizers from Mt. Baker Vaper are my favorites that deliver consistently good hits without the tightness of draw. I'm looking at some bridgeless 306s right now as the bridged 306 don't do it for me. Also looking at a few more RDAs. I'd like to be able to rebuild my own coils, that would be so much less expensive. And I'm waiting until the HH.357 comes back in stock at the 2.0 ohm.

Just ordered more PG from ecigexpress about an hour ago because I used up the last of what I had on hand with the last batch. Thankfully, it was enough. You say I can get this from Amazon by the quart??? Hmmmm. I do have a Prime account... how do you know which ones are safe to vape though?

Well, I'm not a medical professional so this is just my opinion gauging from what I've experienced. YMMV. When I chain vaped and/or vaped too much of a high level of nicotine I've gotten headaches, a sore tongue, some chest pains, etc. Pretty similar to what you described. As a matter of fact I'm going through the headache, tight chest, and a little dizziness right now because I've been mixing and vaping (tasting) and mixing and vaping a 24 mg juice for over an hour now. This tells me that I need to drink more water (vaping dehydrates you), and I need to stop vaping for a bit as I've gotten too much nicotine in my system. My body's telling me to knock it off and let the nic levels go down. By mixing your 18 mg with the 24 mg, I don't think that's the problem and, in my opinion, I wouldn't throw it out. You might want to get some juices in a lower mg, though, if you're going to be vaping a lot. The 24 mg I save for when I can't vape as often. I can take a few hits and I'm good for some time. When I'm at home and chain vaping I go down anywhere from 12 to 0 mg of nic. And drink lots of water. Put your vaping gear down for a bit and see if that helps?

Lol. I just killed a battery with all the testing I've done tonight. On to the charger it goes. This is why I keep a bunch of glass bottles on hand - just so I can mix stuff in small batches. If something doesn't turn out right it's not like there's a lot of liquid that gets wasted. If it turns out good then I can mix a larger batch. Which reminds me I need more glass bottles. Lol. But isn't it great when something goes right and it turns out to be delicious?

I'm not sure where this post should go so I'm sticking it here. There's a juice (Mojito) that I got hooked on shortly after I started vaping, it came from my local brick and mortar store. He mixed his juices at 40 PG/60 VG, 24 mg nic. Over time he changed the ratio to 30 PG/70 VG and now it's too thick. For me. Also, as I tried new juices from different vendors my taste buds changed and the flavor of this Mojito is no longer quite what I like. So, I started adding a little bit of sweetener. That was good. It needs a little more mint. Mmmmm. That's better. It needs to be a little thinner so I added PG... and I finally got something I really, really like at the viscosity that won't kill coils in my clearomizers. Being a person who likes to share I gave a couple of friends a sample to try. They really liked it! And asked if I'd make them some more. They're willing to pay me for it as well so I'm not out anything on supplies. I'll only charge them for what I use because I'm not out to make a profit. Tonight I've been busy making like a mad scientist and mixing. I don't use a formula as I just add a little to the base juice and go from there. Add a little of this. Vape. Add a little of that. Vape. It needs a little more of this. Vape. Lather, rinse, repeat as necessary. Now, I've been at this for over an hour or so and pretty much chain vaping (via direct dripping) something that started out at 24 mg of nic. These days I only vape 12 mg at most so I'm a little dizzy from all the nic I've been vaping. There's a killer headache just around the corner waiting to pounce. So far I've mixed two 50 ml bottles and one 30 ml bottle and the last one's almost there. Almost but not quite. It's probably a good idea to leave it for the night and start again tomorrow but I really want to finish this. Lol. It's bad enough that I play with the juices that are already premade. Can you imagine the havoc I could raise if I were to take the final step and start to DIY?

Ha! I want my paycheck NAO!!! Haven't seen one for vaping yet. I get my long drip tips from Empire Mods. When I started I used the universal and my own drip tip of choice on top. I didn't care for how clunky it looked but it did the trick. http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/chrryuni.htm Then, I discovered these! http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/driptaxxxl.htm They're about half an inch shorter but work the same. They look much better too.

It's not, really. There is a learning curve at the beginning but the pay off is very much worth it. I'll be happy to do your shopping and walk you through it. We'll start with the right equipment, that's more than half the battle right there, IMO.

You might try a higher resistance atty to keep things cool yet get the vape you want without having to go to higher voltages. My sweet spot on a 2.0 ohm is around 4.0 for the bakery flavors, 3.3 to 3.8 on fruit flavors. YMMV. And this is why I like to use the long drip tips, too. It keeps the juice from coming back up and it's easy to grip to take it off to drip directly into the atty. No need to miss.

2.0 ohm is my favorite although I've been known to branch out to 1.8 or 2.4 if I can't get the 2.0. No stepping on toes going on here. We all just want to help, and it always helps to hear others' point of view and their experiences. The more info we can add, the better for people to make up their own minds.

LOL! That's probably why mine don't get hot, Bebop. I'm a terrible dripper who almost always over drips so my coil gets immersed. Thankfully, my drip shields help a LOT with that and makes it very forgiving.

At that your Spinner shouldn't be getting that hot. At least mine doesn't. I remember you said something about you take long, slow drags. Maybe shorten the draws a little to see if that helps?

Not really. The most I get is a bit warm when I'm chain vaping. What voltage are you vaping at and what ohm is your atty?

Really? I've never had that problem with the shield you linked to. I have one of those as well. Are you sure your shield was all the way down? If it wasn't then that could've been the problem. Add just a touch of juice to the inside of the bottom O-ring and it should slide down and sit where it's supposed to. I've never lined up the air holes and get a great draw without tightness.

He got the drip shield from Sweet-Vapes. It says, "Originally for 901 atomizers, but they work perfectly with 510 atomizers on an eGo battery or on any mod via a 510-510 adapter." and I think that's the problem here. He doesn't have a 510-510 adapter so the bottom O-ring of the shield isn't clearing the air holes, it's sitting right on them. I did recommend he get the drip shield from Keith over at Empire Mods...

Oooooh, a "Christopher" sized coffee mug. It's gotta be a 32 oz. mug at the very least with the Vapor Talk logo. I'd buy that!

Actually, his isn't messy at all. There's a place for every tool and it's well organized. He just likes mine better. Whenever I can't find the tool I want I just have to go to his toolbox and...there it is!

Even if you don't get the juice down the center posts sometimes you'll get gurgling. Take the clearomizer off your battery, put a tissue loosely over the bottom of the clearo, blow gently into the mouth piece. Swab the inside of the bottom of the clearo and the top of your battery. Replace the clearo onto your battery and vape. That should take care of it...until the next time it gurgles.
