  1. You're right, Bebop. It really does suck the juice down but for me the flavor I get out of the VT is the closest thing to direct dripping that I've found. From what I'm getting out of it -- it beats the T2 with the short wicks for non-flavor muting. Funny how things seem for different people. Are you using the stock 1.8 ohm coil that it comes with? I've got the 2.2 ohm coils in mine and it's on a Vision Spinner at 3.8 volts for the Strawberry Fields, 4.2 volts for the Feels Like a Nut, and 4.0 volts for the mojito.
  2. Thanks for listening and considering alternatives, Cher.
  3. The one sure way of knowing is when you hear a "pop" and then it doesn't work anymore. Otherwise, the draw gets tighter, you get little to no vapor like you did when it was fairly new, the taste diminishes, it just doesn't work like it did. Some coils will last a long time while I've had a few that gave out within an hour to a day after. There's no quality control on the things that are made in China so it's all a crapshoot.
  4. IMEDICx90 has made a lot of friends here, and quickly too, which goes to show what a nice guy he is. He's helped a LOT of new people on this forum. He gives great advice, learned a lot in a short time and is never stingy about sharing. Hopefully, we'll be able to say the same things about you after you've been here a while. Troy's being silly. I have, on occasion, given some good advice but I'm not always right. Much of vaping is trying new things to find what works best for you. Everyone's different so we just accept that some will like what others don't. Personal preference is wide and varied and one size does not fit all. Now, where's the pile of group huggers? You guys started without me!
  5. Try clicking on the "contact us" tab and put in a ticket. They're very good about working with you and helping you out.
  6. And Facebook-free is even better than that as not everyone has (or wants) a Facebook account. That's why Brian from The Veteran Vaper's contest was so popular here. We all know which store it came from, it created a LOT of great publicity for him, and I'd bet it made more than a few new repeat customers. Just sayin'.
  7. Brian is the best. Really. Other forum members will tell you the same thing. Rixter recommended chocolate malt with extra flavor from EC Blends to me. That tastes like a creamy, milk chocolate malt to me, it was good straight out of the mail but got even better after it steeped awhile. For a few months that was nearly all I vaped, went though several 50 ml bottles of it. Of course it might not taste the same for you as we're all different. You could always try their 5 ml bottles at $2.99. As for coffee flavors there was one I really liked but I don't shop there anymore after a not so great experience with that vendor. Today I just got in Hot Blonde (a coffee with milk and sugar), Mocha Java Nut (white chocolate, coffee, and macadamia nuts), and Mocha Java from Vape Dudes. I haven't tried them yet but I'm going to in just a bit. There's also a Snicker Dude'L too. Mmmmmm. The coffees might need to steep a little but we'll see.
  8. You know, when I wrote it I was at work and just jumped on for a brief second during a break. Lol! Now that I reread what I posted...yeah, you're right. *falls off chair laughing*
  9. Wow. That's saying something then, if this is the best cheesecake flavor you've tried. Thanks for the reference.
  10. Seriously. If you get inferior stuff from him (never happen), or even mediocre customer service, I'll buy those from you. I'm that certain you'll have a great experience shopping with Brian.
  11. $4.79 for CE4s with Brian at The Veteran Vaper. http://www.theveteranvaper.com/vision-ego-clearomizer-ce4-long-wick/ He only sells quality stuff and has the best customer service! Many on this forum have ordered from him and I've never seen a bad review for his store yet.
  12. Just curiosity but how many cheesecakes from how many different vendors have you tried to date?
  13. Most of my juices run 50/50, a rare few are 60 PG/40 VG or even rarer is the 70 PG/30 VG. Of the 50/50 variety, I get two to three weeks of near chain vaping on my 2.0 ohm atomizers. Haven't really been using any clearomizers and/or tanks enough to be able to tell you how long they last but the T2s I used to use usually lasted well over a month or more on a single coil at 50/50 ratio.
  14. That's sweet, Sheepdog, but there are plenty of juices that don't do it for me. I'm finding that if I discover a new vendor whose juices taste good to me, then most of their other flavors do as well. So far I'm having the best luck with EC Blends and Vapor Dudes. Mt. Baker Vaper's juices just don't do for me other than 2 flavors out of nearly twenty I've tried from them so far. BMorevapes' flavors are a 50/50 hit and miss so far.
  15. Not necessarily, B. The Spearmint and Candy Cane could be a little thicker as I would assume there's more sugar content there. The Strawberry Fields wouldn't be as sweet so your ratio could be a little thinner. Just a thought.
  16. Pro Tank and EVOD coils will both work. However, you might want to know the info below. I got it from Discount Vaper's site ( https://store-549f5.mybigcommerce.com/evodcoils/ ) NOTICE: From what I have been told Kanger is now moving to ONE coil type, the longer stem ProTank coil and selling them for both the evod and protank as one coil. Kanger has issued a statement saying that all evod coils are now protank coils. Specifically they said: "Recently We (Kangertech manufacturer) has been improved all evod coils as same as protank coil" They have also posted news on their website (although kinda cryptic unless you know how to translate them) and it says the same thing all evod coils are now protank coils. From this point forward, until they change their mind (I think they will), evod coils will be the same item as ProTank coils and I will be creating a new product listing in the Kanger section like so: EvodProTank/ Coils - 1.8ohms Evod/ProTank Coils - 2.2ohms Evod/ProTank Coils - 2.5ohms They will work on both evod and protanks. You may receive either the original ProTank box (black) or the eVod box (white) as they are now the same thing and which one you get will depend on which we have in stock. Kanger will no doubt change the packaging soon to reflect the change but for now we have ProTank boxes in our new evod coil shipment If you see a listing that only says "evod" in the title, that means they are the previous short coil evods. In either case I will list it prominently in the description iof each item. ) NOTICE: From what I have been told Kanger is now moving to ONE coil type, the longer stem ProTank coil and selling them for both the evod and protank as one coil. 17. I'm on my 5th refill and no problem with the Strawberry Fields, 50/50, 18 mg in a Vision Victory (VT) with a 2.2 ohm coil at 3.6 volts on my 900 mAh and 1300 mAh Vision Spinner. Still going strong with no burning taste at all so far!
  18. Had no choice, had to switch to ebooks since we already remodeled my office once to install floor to ceiling, wall to wall bookshelves...and now they're full and double stacked. The only other alternative would've been to build and expand my office OUT -- and that's not an option. Ebooks take so much less space and my eyes like them better.
  19. My mail person is infinitely grateful that I've switched from books to vaping gear; it's much lighter. The books are now all ebooks so delivery is faster. Win/win all around.
  20. Wrong. This is srius biznus. Why not get both so you can compare? I am. I did. And in a few days I will resume my stalking of my mail delivery person.
  21. Next time, with him nearby to help if needed, you might give it a try. That way, in case something happens and you need to open it up and he's not around...
  22. For whatever it's worth, Christie, I've found that most coffees I've tried needed steeping for a week or more. Loved your analogy of the chocolate chip cookie. Edited to fix wandering fingers syndrome.
  23. Just a thought because I don't know how severe your disability is, but have you tried wrapping a rubber band around the part you want to unscrew? That might help give you some grip on the right part. I've worked with students with disabilities for years and we've found that rubber band trick useful for all sorts of gripping things. Large, wide rubber bands work great for getting jars open.
  24. From Discount Vapers: 2 Davide Mini Glassomizers 1 Kanger Pro Tank 2 I so want to like the Pro Tank. With the changeable tip on this one and a few improvements they made, my fingers and toes are crossed that this one is better. Thanks to Christie for the heads up on the price difference between Gotvapes and Discount Vapers for the Davide Mini.
  25. Ha! Who rocks harder??? Thanks for the heads up on Discount Vapers. Darn, should've waited a day or three. Just made a large-ish order with them a couple of days ago. Okay, I have a couple on their way.
