  1. All of my genuine eGo batteries have the eGo name on the bottom side as well as their logo on the very bottom of the battery. As for clearomizers vs cartomizers...a cartomizer is a metal cylinder with some filler material (looks like a synthetic cotton) in it. You put juice into the filler material and vape. A clearomizer is synonymous with a tank. The have a clear "tank" so you can see the juice. Clearomizers come in top coil which have wicks on top or a bottom coil where the coil and wick are on the bottom. So far my favorite clearomizers are the Kangor Pro Tank 2, the Davide Glassomizer (mini) and I've given up on the Vision Victory. It was great for awhile until they all started leaking at once.
  2. Take your highest mg of nicotine juice with you. You can vape in a bathroom in the hospital but you won't be able to chain vape for long. The higher mg helps to get your nic and go on for a bit. Take a charger or two with you. Even if you can't get a full charge you can get a partial if you need to. I don't normally vape 24 mg anymore but man, it came in handy when a family member was in the hospital for a prolonged stay. One time I got a little break so I went outside to get some fresh air and vape a bit. A security guard came rushing over telling me I couldn't smoke there (total non-smoking hospital campus). When he found out it was an e-cigarette he apologized and told me to carry on. Good luck tomorrow. I hope you get the best of news and a short hospital stay.
  3. Just picked up another 180 ml bottle of Mojito, 24 mg nic, 50 PG/50 VG from my local brick & mortar. He makes the best Mojito flavor I've tried to date. It needs to steep for about a month though to get it where I want it before I start playing mad scientist and doctoring it up to my preference. He gave me a 10 ml bottle of sweetener and a 5 ml bottle of Mojito flavor in case I want it stronger. Also, talked to the owner and he's looking into picking up some Davide Glassomizers (in full size and minis). He was very impressed with mine. Picked up a five pack of Pro Tank coils in 2.2 ohms and found out some interesting info that I'll share in a separate thread. Gotta love the guys at this store. Turned two of them on to the HH.357 atomizer. They were practically drooling by the time I left the store.
  4. Once I see it's out for delivery I begin stalking the mail delivery person.
  5. And don't forget duct tape. You MUST have lots of duct tape. That stuff can fix anything!
  6. Good to know they have such great customer service for the price of these attys. And the keeping it wet part is no problem for me. I'm a terrible dripper and consistently over-drip anyway. This atty was made for me!
  7. You can buy VG from Walmart (ask at the Pharmacy) if you don't see it on the shelf. Add just a little bit, shake, and vape. Like B and Ron said above, a little VG goes a long way. If you want more vapor, add more VG. My recommendation would be to put a little of your juice into a different bottle and then add the VG. If you get too much VG you can add more juice to thin it out. If you add the VG into your original bottle, you can't take it out. Best to experiment on a small amount first. Just my two cents.
  8. Would you care to elaborate?
  9. If you're going to experiment I'd suggest getting a few empty bottles and use those. I wouldn't waste a whole bottle if something doesn't come out right. If you like it, then I'd go for mixing the whole thing but not before testing it first. I just made a fairly largish order of bottles with drippers from the Specialty Bottle store ( https://www.specialtybottle.com/ ). Glass bottles are my preferred as they won't melt or give off anything into the juice.
  10. Each juice and vendor are different. That's where direct dripping comes in handy so you can try it every few days to check to see if it's ready yet. I've had some that were great right out of the mailbox while others had to steep up to a month -- all from the same vendor.
  11. Yes, any 510 or 901 drip tips will work for the Davide. Try going to Empire Mods, Keith has more drip tips than you can shake a stick at. If not there, then I'd try Stormy's Vapor Cellar. I've done business with both and have had very good experiences. If I had to pick one, though, I'd go with Empire Mods.
  12. Any and all tips for the CE4 are all going to be threaded. As far as I've seen there are none that just push in because these aren't "drip tips" per se, they're mouth pieces -- and those are different.
  13. Jeff's speshul. He's an admin and can get away with things like that. Okay, that's what I think, I don't know for sure.
  14. There are four small holes at the base of the tank right above where the battery connects. Hold it under a bright light and you should be able to see them. Oops. Just checked and there are only three holes, they're tiny and look like pin holes.
  15. For me I prefer a tighter draw than what the Davide provides out of the box so I just put a small piece of tape over one hole. Problem solved.
  16. Yeah, the link didn't work for me, either, so I just went directly to Empire Mods.
  17. Nooooooooooo! I am not going to cave on this one. Yet. Maybe? If I were to get my very first mod this one would be it. And they have a gorgeous purple...
  18. I don't know why it didn't occur to me to change the coil on the first one when it wasn't producing any flavor. Both of the stock coils that came inside the Davides were misses. Now I know to change the coil at the first hint of trouble. The jury's still out on these but so far so good. Now, I must get some more coils...
  19. Being hard headed and not one to give up easily I decided to try the second Davide Mini to see if that would work better than the first one. The coil was DOA. No matter what I did it wouldn't fire. Replaced the coil and...wow! So this is what you guys have been talking about. I think the first one had a bad coil in it as well because once I switched it out the thing works fine and I can taste the juice inside. Better than "fine" in fact. I did have to tape one of the holes on the second one but I can live with that. The coil that was DOA is getting discected this weekend to find out what went wrong. I may have to try to see if I can rebuild the coil and wick.
  20. My mojito is very high in citrus and eats through a plastic tank in next to no time. I have it in the Davide with an acrylic drip tip with no problems. It's just the tank that needs to be glass, the drip tip doesn't matter.
  21. I seem to be on a quest for all kinds of different apple juices. Just got Apple Dapple from the Vapor Talk store and Green Apple from NeoVap.
  22. It says in the description, "Threaded to screw on to the CE4 style clearomizers Vision, DV and Stardust."

  24. We already do. The others just don't know it yet.
  25. Whatever makes us all happy, B.
