  1. No, no signature, sadly. We kinda avoided him. He had drama at the same time I had band. His class used the movie theater's stage while us band geeks were relegated to the basement for practice. We gave him a wide berth when he broke out in a loud Shakespearean monologue in the parking lot. Lol. He did go back a few years after I came back to the states and attended the prom there with his wife. A friend got lots of pictures.
  2. Just an aside...I went to school with Mark Hamil. Who knew the drama geek would become so famous? I would bet my year book is worth some money these days.
  3. To be honest, Jeff, I wasn't sold on them at first but found out that both coils that came inside the Davide were bad. Once I changed out the coils...I rather like them now. Even better than the Vision Victory -- none of the leaking problems with a Davide. Even after changing the coil on the first one it still took a while for it to break in properly but once it did, it's pretty amazing. Keep in mind that it could've just been the juice I was using in it as well. Now that I know what to look out for I even ordered three more. The Davide hits a little tighter than the Pro Tank, which I prefer. Still, I had to put a tiny piece of tape over one hole and that took care of the problem nicely. The Pro Tank 2 is a huge improvement over the first one and didn't need any tweaking at all. Seems like I'm the only one on the forum who had anything other than a spectacular intro to the Davide but it worked itself out. I'm very much liking a glass tank.
  4. O-rings come on the drip tips so you don't have to get more until/unless you need to replace one, which is fairly rare. I would just take one off the drip tips that come with the Davide...
  5. Collecting drip tips can be habit forming. Just sayin'.
  6. Strawberry Fields tastes like a juicy strawberry, not the canned strawberry you'd use for pie fillings so...no, it's not super high in sugar content that I know of. I've been on the same coil for a little over two weeks with no drop in flavor or vapor. And I even added a drop of two of extra sweetener to it.
  7. Getting a custom made mod holder by Mark is something to be excited about!
  8. The Pro Tank coils will work in a Pro Tank 2, EVOD, MT3, TS3 and Anyvape Davide Glassomizers. I prefer 2.0 - 2.2 ohm coils personally.
  9. If you vape one flavor all the time you will lose the taste. Change flavors when you notice it getting weak and that should take care of the problem.
  10. Even with a blunt drip tip on my bottles of e-liquid I can get nearly 3 mls into my Pro Tank. No needle tips required, thanks. Thanks for the heads up on the short stem coils, Love, but I think I'm good with the long ones. They seem to be working okay. It's just the original ones that were inside the Davide Minis that were faulty. Once I changed them out they seem to be working fine now.
  11. What I vape depends on what I'm in the mood for. My go-to has been Feels like a Nut for months on end now. I vape that when I can chain vape. When I need to take a quick couple of hits and put it away? My 24 mg of Mojito does the trick. I add a little extra peppermint and a little more sweetener to give it the smoothness I like. I've noticed that the tightness of the draw from the Davide can change with different drip tips. When I use a ming vase type it's very airy. Change it over to one of the longer ones and it seems to tighten the draw -- for me. YMMV.
  12. A regular Pro Tank or Pro Tank 2 will hold 2.5 ml of liquid. The site Discount Vapers says it'll hold up to 3 ml if you don't hold it at too steep an angle while filling. The Pro Tank mini holds between 1 and 1.5 mls. http://www.discountvapers.com/kanger-protank-1/
  13. Only the short stemmed EVOD coils do, which Kanger is no longer producing. They're only making the long stemmed coils now. Thankfully, on a Pro Tank 2, this isn't a problem. It comes with a slightly tighter draw all on its own.
  14. Yeah, it seems like I got bad coils in both the mini Davides. Once I changed them out they started working like they were supposed to.
  15. At my local brick & mortar store today I went to buy some Pro Tank coils in a 2.2 ohm. They only had 1.5 ohm, which I don't like. They gave me a five pack of 2.2 ohm T3S coils and said they work in all Kanger Pro Tanks, Pro Tank 2, EVOD, MT3S, and T3S. Since Pro Tank coils also work in the Davide glassomizers (and mini versions), these should work the same. Just thought I'd give people a heads up that these coils should all be the same so you can interchange the tanks. Did that make any sense? If it didn't I plead brain dead after a looooong day at work.
  16. All of my genuine eGo batteries have the eGo name on the bottom side as well as their logo on the very bottom of the battery. As for clearomizers vs cartomizers...a cartomizer is a metal cylinder with some filler material (looks like a synthetic cotton) in it. You put juice into the filler material and vape. A clearomizer is synonymous with a tank. The have a clear "tank" so you can see the juice. Clearomizers come in top coil which have wicks on top or a bottom coil where the coil and wick are on the bottom. So far my favorite clearomizers are the Kangor Pro Tank 2, the Davide Glassomizer (mini) and I've given up on the Vision Victory. It was great for awhile until they all started leaking at once.
  17. Take your highest mg of nicotine juice with you. You can vape in a bathroom in the hospital but you won't be able to chain vape for long. The higher mg helps to get your nic and go on for a bit. Take a charger or two with you. Even if you can't get a full charge you can get a partial if you need to. I don't normally vape 24 mg anymore but man, it came in handy when a family member was in the hospital for a prolonged stay. One time I got a little break so I went outside to get some fresh air and vape a bit. A security guard came rushing over telling me I couldn't smoke there (total non-smoking hospital campus). When he found out it was an e-cigarette he apologized and told me to carry on. Good luck tomorrow. I hope you get the best of news and a short hospital stay.
  18. Just picked up another 180 ml bottle of Mojito, 24 mg nic, 50 PG/50 VG from my local brick & mortar. He makes the best Mojito flavor I've tried to date. It needs to steep for about a month though to get it where I want it before I start playing mad scientist and doctoring it up to my preference. He gave me a 10 ml bottle of sweetener and a 5 ml bottle of Mojito flavor in case I want it stronger. Also, talked to the owner and he's looking into picking up some Davide Glassomizers (in full size and minis). He was very impressed with mine. Picked up a five pack of Pro Tank coils in 2.2 ohms and found out some interesting info that I'll share in a separate thread. Gotta love the guys at this store. Turned two of them on to the HH.357 atomizer. They were practically drooling by the time I left the store.
  19. Once I see it's out for delivery I begin stalking the mail delivery person.
  20. And don't forget duct tape. You MUST have lots of duct tape. That stuff can fix anything!
  21. Good to know they have such great customer service for the price of these attys. And the keeping it wet part is no problem for me. I'm a terrible dripper and consistently over-drip anyway. This atty was made for me!
  22. You can buy VG from Walmart (ask at the Pharmacy) if you don't see it on the shelf. Add just a little bit, shake, and vape. Like B and Ron said above, a little VG goes a long way. If you want more vapor, add more VG. My recommendation would be to put a little of your juice into a different bottle and then add the VG. If you get too much VG you can add more juice to thin it out. If you add the VG into your original bottle, you can't take it out. Best to experiment on a small amount first. Just my two cents.
  23. Would you care to elaborate?
