  1. In today's vape mail.... 20 friend tips one 125 ml bottle of EC Blends' Feels like a Nut, 60 PG/40 VG (usually, I go with 50/50), double extra sweet, 12 mg nic TWO HH.357 Hybrid Spec atomizers in 2.0 ohm, standard, matte black. Woot!
  2. All PG or all VG, neither one "requires" you to have glass bottles. My preference is glass bottles but it's not necessary no matter the PG/VG ratio. More PG = better flavor delivery, more throat hit, thinner juice. More VG = a little sweeter taste, more vapor, thicker juice. If you chose the "PG" option, you probably got all PG, which would give you a pretty good throat hit. I'd suggest going with a 50/50 or a 60 PG/40 VG ratio to start.
  3. My Feels Like a Nut (Almond Joy) flavor needs at minimum one week before it's really good. Two weeks or more and it has me drooling. Dulce de Leche also requires a week or more before it gets really good. The Vapor Room's Lemon Meringue Pie was all pie crust until it steeped for a couple of months and then the lemon flavor exploded. I think it just depends on your taste buds, mostly. Juice is so subjective, it's hard to say one size fits all.
  4. Like B said, make sure everything's tightened on snug, but not too tight. I just changed over to my Pro Tank 2, it's on my Vision Spinner 1300 mAh, 50/50 juice at 12 mg nic and blowing out huge clouds of vapor. At 3.8 volts I got "okay" amount of vapor. Cranked it up to 4.0 volts and get huge amounts. I'm going to suggest you take a look at the PG/VG ratio on your juice. What ohm coil is in your Pro Tank? That might also impact how much vapor you're getting for the voltage. A higher ohm rating is going to require higher voltage. Just a thought...
  5. Here's my two cents: Vision Spinner in either 900 or 1300 mAh (it's a variable voltage battery) A Kanger Pro Tank 2 or a Davide/Davide Mini with a 1.8 ohm coil Juice in either 50/50 or 60 PG/40 VG, a little higher on the nicotine content Some juices, and it depends on the flavor as well as PG/VG content, takes a little more heat/voltage to produce the throat hit and/or vapor you're looking for. The higher nic will help with the TH as well. The Kanger Pro Tank or the Davide/mini will allow you to use any flavor (including high citrus and/or cinnamon) without cracking or clouding up like a plastic tank. The replacement coil (it's cheaper than buying a whole set up every time), fits both, and it's by far the easiest tank I've used -- once I figured out I need to make sure the coil is on snug before filling with juice and not assuming it's on there well. These two tanks deliver the purest flavor of the juice that I've found other than direct dripping. With the above set up, I'm in a constant cloud of vapor. YMMV, but I think you'll have the same experience.
  6. Congrats on a BIG four month milestone, B. Glad you're here and have found a home at VT. May you have many more milestones to come!
  7. Um...are you, by chance, just a little bit excited, Medic? Don't blame you a bit, it's absolutely beautiful. Mark does some gorgeous work.
  8. I've also found that the drip tip can make a difference in how airy a draw is. When I get one that seems too airy I get a different shaped drip tip. Some give a harder pull than others. YMMV.
  9. Nah, that would be me.
  10. My mistake. Don't know what I was thinking when I added the full-sized Davide in with the mini. Can we just say it was a fleeting case of temporary insanity?
  11. Good luck! I hope you get the job.
  12. Keep in mind that juices are subjective. What one person thinks is great, another will find it vile. It all depends on what your taste buds tell you. I like the 5 ml bottles of juice so I can taste it myself without putting out a lot of money that I might have to put aside. Also an FYI on EC Blends' juices - a lot of their stuff you have to let steep (that means to put it aside and let it age a little for the full flavor to come out). Some of their stuff is good right away but others could take a few days to a few weeks before the full flavor comes through.
  13. Have you seen this?
  14. Yeah, but I could do without the gratuitous love affair between Spock and Uhura. *rolls eyes* The rest of the characters, though, are perfect!
  15. I prefer to watch it at home in the comfort of my computer chair and 25" monitor. No having to sit in a crowded theatre and I can pause it so I can go potty anytime I want. Lol. Gotta love Karl Urban as Dr. McCoy!
  16. Well, it seems like my preorder of Star Trek Into Darkness came out today on Amazon Prime. Doesn't look like I'm getting to bed anytime soon. No spoilers, please! But has anyone seen this yet and did you like it?
  17. The Davide and Davide mini have three tiny holes around the base that allows you to draw in air when you take a hit. Personally, I find it too "airy" and prefer a tighter draw so I cover one of the holes with a tiny piece of tape. Wizard just covers it with a finger when taking a draw. It does the same thing.
  18. For the first 6 - 8 months I think I stayed with a 24 mg, too. And then I started to cut back a little at a time. Now, the 12 is about perfect for me unless it's a super high stress day. Then, it's back to 24 for a while.
  19. That's YOUR fault if you get caught. Personally, I don't have that problem.
  20. I love specialtybottles.com. They pack the bottles very, very well and I've never had a single one damaged in all the orders I've done with them. GREAT customer service, too. The little 1 dram bottles with the dripper is very, very good for mixing juices to try different combinations. Their prices are also very reasonable.
  21. It's just easier to put the piece of tape over one hole so I don't have to locate one to put a finger over. This is especially good when I'm driving or something else where I don't want to look away.
  22. EC Blends' peppermint with extra flavor is what I add to my local B&M's mojito. It's soooooo good.
  23. Even a juice at 12 or 18 mg of nic provides a good kick if you have the right PG/VG ratio (70 PG/30 VG for example). At least that's what I've experienced.
  24. How did the cushion on the seat hold up, Jeff?
  25. The higher the nicotine content and higher PG offers a harder throat hit. It's not really so much the flavor of the juice as it is the ratio of PG/VG. Vape Dudes is a very popular vendor of e-liquids around here, as is Sweet-Vapes.com (add the hyphen or it'll take you to a different vendor altogether), although I don't shop at the latter anymore. EC Blends is still my personal favorite because you can customize the bejeezus out of all their juices.
