  1. My mistake. Don't know what I was thinking when I added the full-sized Davide in with the mini. Can we just say it was a fleeting case of temporary insanity?
  2. Keep in mind that juices are subjective. What one person thinks is great, another will find it vile. It all depends on what your taste buds tell you. I like the 5 ml bottles of juice so I can taste it myself without putting out a lot of money that I might have to put aside. Also an FYI on EC Blends' juices - a lot of their stuff you have to let steep (that means to put it aside and let it age a little for the full flavor to come out). Some of their stuff is good right away but others could take a few days to a few weeks before the full flavor comes through.
  3. Yeah, but I could do without the gratuitous love affair between Spock and Uhura. *rolls eyes* The rest of the characters, though, are perfect!
  4. I prefer to watch it at home in the comfort of my computer chair and 25" monitor. No having to sit in a crowded theatre and I can pause it so I can go potty anytime I want. Lol. Gotta love Karl Urban as Dr. McCoy!
  5. Well, it seems like my preorder of Star Trek Into Darkness came out today on Amazon Prime. Doesn't look like I'm getting to bed anytime soon. No spoilers, please! But has anyone seen this yet and did you like it?
  6. The Davide and Davide mini have three tiny holes around the base that allows you to draw in air when you take a hit. Personally, I find it too "airy" and prefer a tighter draw so I cover one of the holes with a tiny piece of tape. Wizard just covers it with a finger when taking a draw. It does the same thing.
  7. For the first 6 - 8 months I think I stayed with a 24 mg, too. And then I started to cut back a little at a time. Now, the 12 is about perfect for me unless it's a super high stress day. Then, it's back to 24 for a while.
  8. That's YOUR fault if you get caught. Personally, I don't have that problem.
  9. I love specialtybottles.com. They pack the bottles very, very well and I've never had a single one damaged in all the orders I've done with them. GREAT customer service, too. The little 1 dram bottles with the dripper is very, very good for mixing juices to try different combinations. Their prices are also very reasonable.
  10. It's just easier to put the piece of tape over one hole so I don't have to locate one to put a finger over. This is especially good when I'm driving or something else where I don't want to look away.
  11. EC Blends' peppermint with extra flavor is what I add to my local B&M's mojito. It's soooooo good.
  12. Even a juice at 12 or 18 mg of nic provides a good kick if you have the right PG/VG ratio (70 PG/30 VG for example). At least that's what I've experienced.
  13. How did the cushion on the seat hold up, Jeff?
  14. The higher the nicotine content and higher PG offers a harder throat hit. It's not really so much the flavor of the juice as it is the ratio of PG/VG. Vape Dudes is a very popular vendor of e-liquids around here, as is Sweet-Vapes.com (add the hyphen or it'll take you to a different vendor altogether), although I don't shop at the latter anymore. EC Blends is still my personal favorite because you can customize the bejeezus out of all their juices.
  15. If you're getting lots of vapor then I'd be suspicious that your juice is high in VG (vegetable glycerine), and that decreases throat hit. How much nicotine is in your juices? The higher the nic content and/or PG, the harder the throat hit. I've noticed a marked difference when I ordered an 18 mg nic with 70 PG/30 VG juice. The hit was almost too strong for me. Still plenty of vapor but too harsh for what I want. Your Twists are good batteries so I'd go with a different vendor and different juice ratios as well as getting a good delivery device like an Anyvapes Davide clearomizer. It comes with a pyrex glass tank so you can put any kind of juice into it. I'd get 1.5 ohm replacement coils for it, that should also help with throat hit. I get my Davide minis from discountvapers.com http://www.discountvapers.com/search.php?search_query=Davide&x=0&y=0
  16. Don't do it, Medic. I had that chair and the seat is as hard as a rock! Lol. Got rid of it and got a chair from Office Max that I thought had a good cushion. Turns out I was wrong. *sighs* BUT! I ordered a memory foam cushion that's for wheelchairs and it fits perfectly and is very comfortable besides.
  17. Just get a colored wide band rubber band and put that around the glass (hair stuff should work just as well). It should protect it well enough and give you the color coding you're wanting until the colored glass tanks come out.
  18. Is that your doing, Aquatroy? Welcome, RocketPants. Hey! Yeah, but we also make you like it!
  19. Me, too, now that I finally have the coil figured out. And one teeny, tiny piece of tape is my friend.
  20. That condition might be dependent on the person. Everyone is different so what one person experiences, another won't. Like me. I vape heavily on an empty stomach every day and never have a problem -- doesn't matter if I'm vaping at 6 mg or 24 mg of nicotine. In the mornings all my stomach can handle is coffee. Black, hot, and lots of it. Can't even think about eating anything until way after 11 am. Vaping doesn't adversely affect me at all.
  21. And if you don't believe that, just ask us and we'll tell you more than you wanted to know. Welcome.
  22. In my vape mail yesterday was 3 10ml bottles of Crown no Creme by IMEDICx90. And in today's mail...I got a LARGE box of packing peanuts! Woot! *does happy dance* Oh. wait. There's another box under all the styrofoam. Inside the box are: 10 - 2-dram clear glass bottles with dropper 10 - 4-dram clear glass bottles with dropper 6 - 2-oz Boston rounds with dropper 12 - 1 oz Boston rounds with dropper all from specialtybottles.com Gotta love the glass bottles. There's nothing like them to store juice. IMO.
