  1. The high citrus in my mojito flavor used to crack the T2 on a semi-regular basis. Other flavors were all fine though.
  2. If you want to go with an EVOD I'd suggest using the Vapor Talk Market Place and get it from The Veteran Vaper: https://vaportalk.com/marketplace/tanks/ Brian's customer service is beyond excellent. If you scroll down a bit you'll also see the Kangor Pro Tank. Many people like those, although I prefer the Pro Tank 2 or better yet the Anyvape Davide mini glassomizer. Brian does not have the Pro Tank 2 or the Davides though. The Davide and Davide mini -- I get mine from Discount Vapers but they're currently out of stock.
  3. Mostly I use my computer because of the 25" monitor. I don't know that you can actually "share" files other than on the Kindle format without violating copyright laws.
  4. Interesting. Thanks for the info. I've bought plenty of spearmint and peppermint from EC Blends, but I use it to mix with my mojito and never used it by itself in a tank.
  5. The eGo Twist is variable voltage. What unit did you get? I don't think I've ever seen a color coded system before. Can you post a picture?
  6. OMG, and it's soooo cheap and portable! Hahahaha Great vid!
  7. Juices in high citrus and/or cinnamon can crack tanks. Don't know that I've ever heard of spearmint doing it but that doesn't mean it couldn't. Hey, bcarter! What's your experience on this? Since you vape a lot of spearmint, have you ever had one crack a plastic tank?
  8. @tzymroz2013 Thanks for the explanation of where you got your info. I like to do my own research from a variety of different source so I can get more information on any given subject.
  9. Link, please? Oh, and Bebop? Off-topic but I love This is Spinal Tap.
  10. But the dissenters don't want to hear any opposing facts, it gets in the way of their illinformed opinions. That's one of my main pet peeves as well. If you want to learn about something, are interested in a certain subject -- for Pete's sake do the research! Don't just settle for the first thing you read and then quote that as the gospel. Read, read, then read some more. Go out and experience this thing if possible. Then, after you do that, research a bit more to make sure what you read were from credible sources. Once you do all that, pull out the common sense and use it to form your own opinions based on what you researched. ARGH! May I join you over in the Rants forum?
  11. Interesting article. Riveting comments from people who know how to be articulate and reasonable. I wish we had more people like the commenters working for the FDA.
  12. Congrats on your first 1000. May you be celebrating many, many more.
  13. Actually, the short ones will be phased out and they'll only be making the long stemmed ones from now on.
  14. I can blow smoke rings but the vapor is pretty wispy compared to the smoke. Guess smoke is much more dense than vapor, which actually makes sense...
  15. Typo. Lol. Yes, SHAKE vigorously.
  16. From what I've experienced, BirdDog, is that the shorter stemmed coil tightens the draw just a bit. I've used both in the EVOD. Either one will also work in the EVOD and the Pro Tank 1. Not sure about the short coil but the long ones will work on the Pro Tank 2 and all the Davide/Davide Minis.
  17. You know, there's a simple method to fix this that I completely overlooked. Jacob, go to Walmart, Target, Hobby Lobby, any pharmacy and get a bottle of food grade -- vegetable glycerine. Add just a little bit to your juice, shave vigorously and vape to see if that helps. If you have too much PG in your juice, this should help. Adding too much VG will weaken the taste of your flavor so add just a tiny bit at a time. Use a separate bottle to mix just a little bit of juice and VG so you don't ruin the full bottle of juice. Also, it's easier to add more juice in a different bottle should you get waaay too much VG in the mixing one.
  18. In today's vape mail.... 20 friend tips one 125 ml bottle of EC Blends' Feels like a Nut, 60 PG/40 VG (usually, I go with 50/50), double extra sweet, 12 mg nic TWO HH.357 Hybrid Spec atomizers in 2.0 ohm, standard, matte black. Woot!
  19. All PG or all VG, neither one "requires" you to have glass bottles. My preference is glass bottles but it's not necessary no matter the PG/VG ratio. More PG = better flavor delivery, more throat hit, thinner juice. More VG = a little sweeter taste, more vapor, thicker juice. If you chose the "PG" option, you probably got all PG, which would give you a pretty good throat hit. I'd suggest going with a 50/50 or a 60 PG/40 VG ratio to start.
  20. My Feels Like a Nut (Almond Joy) flavor needs at minimum one week before it's really good. Two weeks or more and it has me drooling. Dulce de Leche also requires a week or more before it gets really good. The Vapor Room's Lemon Meringue Pie was all pie crust until it steeped for a couple of months and then the lemon flavor exploded. I think it just depends on your taste buds, mostly. Juice is so subjective, it's hard to say one size fits all.
  21. Like B said, make sure everything's tightened on snug, but not too tight. I just changed over to my Pro Tank 2, it's on my Vision Spinner 1300 mAh, 50/50 juice at 12 mg nic and blowing out huge clouds of vapor. At 3.8 volts I got "okay" amount of vapor. Cranked it up to 4.0 volts and get huge amounts. I'm going to suggest you take a look at the PG/VG ratio on your juice. What ohm coil is in your Pro Tank? That might also impact how much vapor you're getting for the voltage. A higher ohm rating is going to require higher voltage. Just a thought...
  22. Here's my two cents: Vision Spinner in either 900 or 1300 mAh (it's a variable voltage battery) A Kanger Pro Tank 2 or a Davide/Davide Mini with a 1.8 ohm coil Juice in either 50/50 or 60 PG/40 VG, a little higher on the nicotine content Some juices, and it depends on the flavor as well as PG/VG content, takes a little more heat/voltage to produce the throat hit and/or vapor you're looking for. The higher nic will help with the TH as well. The Kanger Pro Tank or the Davide/mini will allow you to use any flavor (including high citrus and/or cinnamon) without cracking or clouding up like a plastic tank. The replacement coil (it's cheaper than buying a whole set up every time), fits both, and it's by far the easiest tank I've used -- once I figured out I need to make sure the coil is on snug before filling with juice and not assuming it's on there well. These two tanks deliver the purest flavor of the juice that I've found other than direct dripping. With the above set up, I'm in a constant cloud of vapor. YMMV, but I think you'll have the same experience.
  23. Congrats on a BIG four month milestone, B. Glad you're here and have found a home at VT. May you have many more milestones to come!
  24. Um...are you, by chance, just a little bit excited, Medic? Don't blame you a bit, it's absolutely beautiful. Mark does some gorgeous work.
