First off we'll need more information before giving you any advice. What's in the starter kit? Would you post a link so we can see what it is? What atomizer, cartomizer, clearomizer, tank are you using? Do you know what ohm the coil is? Is your battery a variable voltage or fixed voltage? What brand of juice are you using? What mg of nicotine is in it? What's the PG/VG ratio of your juice? I know this is a lot of questions but in order to give you the best advice of what you might need/want to try...

Luckily for me, my local B&M is a licensed Joytech supplier and can only sell the brand names, no knock offs, and his prices are pretty comparable with online stores if you add in the s&h charges. It's nice not to have to wait for it in the mail as well as supporting the local stores. I won't buy his juices, though, with the exception of one flavor. A 10 ml bottle costs $11.99 and is at a fixed 70 VG/30 PG. Ugh.

You're lucky you don't have to deal with my SO's father. He absolutely loves technology but for the life of him can't figure it out and doesn't have the patience to learn something new. If he could remember what to do in the first place. Lol.

http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/driptxxxl.htm I get a lot of drip tips from Keith at Empire Mods. He also sells atomizers so you might want to take a look while you're there. Empire Mods sells quality stuff with excellent customer service. I never worry when I do business with him. Oh, and you might also want to get your drip shield from Keith as he's the one who invented them.

Glad you found out what the problem was, Grant. Now, you just have to get some new coils that aren't knock offs and you should be set.

Southern Colorado Vapers SOCO VAPE MEET

Bump. Yay! Going to my first vapemeet today. -
Productivity is bustling I see. Enjoy your morning.

Because EC Blends only mixes a juice after it's ordered there is no such thing as a "bad batch". The burned taste wouldn't be coming from a juice in any case, it's got to be the voltage level like B said.
-
Nope, not all that different other than a mint flavor added to the Dragon series. Dragon's Tear, Blood, Crown, Breath, Brew, Delight, Dream... all vape the same with me. HUGE clouds of vapor and flavor. The next one I want to try is Dragon's Magic. That's Dragon's Cream with ambrosia. It sounds heavenly.
-
What voltage level are you using with these coils? With a 1.8 ohm coil I'd be using the lowest voltage (3.3 - 3.8 volts) for the Dragon series/fruit. When I vape fruit flavors it wants a cooler hit. Anything higher and I get a burnt taste. Of course, your experience could be different.
-
I'd say it's a side effect of a bad coil. What kind of battery are you using on this? All of my Dragon series juices are at either 50/50 or 60 PG/40 VG and I get huge clouds of vapor in my drip atomizers and/or mini Davides with either a 2.2 ohm or 1.8 ohm coils. Oh, and I'm using Vision Spinners at around 4.0 - 4.3 volts.

Hey, Vaporhub, is that your store that you linked to?
-
As little as I use anything other than my atomizers, the ones I have are the back ups of the back ups. Lol!

Looks like Troy has first dibs, then Patricia, then Wizard. I'm bowing out because I've got seven of them filled with juice right now with one more still in the box that hasn't been used yet. I think I'm good. See what you started, B? P.S. To all the noobs who come here and on the first post you try to sell something. THIS is how it's done. Join the forum, stay and post awhile, get to know people. Then, when you've been here for a bit and people get to know you first -- then you get a fast-paced bidding war for the things you want to sell.

Hey, B, how many of the minis do you have?
-
The first drop or two always takes the longest so have patience, grasshopper.

The "jam tip" technique has its own unique brand of "get 'er done-ness" but it's a bit more messy for me. Lol As for the so-called 'big bucks'? I want a raise, dammit! So far I haven't seen one cent come in but lots of 'em coing out.

Invert tank. Wipe excess juice from around the teeny, tiny little holes to clean it. Drip one drop just slightly to the side of the hole and let it slide through so it creates a trail. Drip another, wait, drip another and then touch the tip of the dripper to the side and drip faster until it's filled. Easy. Dab excess liquid when done, there's usually not much.

Is it just me who doesn't have a problem filling the Davide minis without a needle tip bottle? The drippers that come with my glass bottles are pretty large yet I don't seem to have a problem.

EC Blends' Almond Amaretto Liqueur. It's...indescribably delicious!

Reading humor into written words is always hard, and my sense of humor is never spot on in the best of times.

Thanks for the tip but I already knew that, B. I was just kidding.

Currently I have four Davide minis with OrangeZilla, Strawberry Fields, Mojito and Feels Like a Nut in them. Two Kanger Pro Tank 2 with Apple Pie and a mix of peppermint and blueberry. There are two more with HH.357 atomizers for direct dripping. When I'm not driving around I stay with direct drip as that's where the flavor truly shines. The Davide minis come close but not quite there.

There's etching on them with the resistance???

Go you! Lol
