  1. There's a thread called "Share your coil builds". Just pop those words into the search function of the forum (look at the top for a small magnifying glass and click on that), and you should be able to find it. Sorry, no bueno on knowing anything about the mod you listed. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  2. No, don't disassemble. Take the center pin of your atomizer and gently pull that out just a tiny bit. That might do the trick if you can't move your center pin of the mod.
  3. Moved to General Vaping Discussion thread. You should get more visibility for your question there.
  4. I agree with @Edna and would also suggest you try to lift the center pin of your mod. Sometimes, the center pin of the mod gets pushed down and old juice will keep it pushed down so your atomizer doesn't make a solid connection. That's when your mod will tell you that it doesn't recognize that an atomizer is on it. Give Edna's suggestions a try and then come back and let us know that it worked.
  5. You only have to post this once and not in multiple threads. You'll get better results if you start your own thread.
  6. Scroll down for the explanation of the different resistance levels of each coil as well as the number and type of coil you want. In the Baby Beast tank, they include the Q2 and the V8 T8 (if I remember correctly). The Q2 has a 0.4 ohm dual coil. The V8 T8 is 0.15 ohm octuple coil. What do you prefer?

  8. Googled and found this site. I've never heard of them before so I can't tell you if they're reputable or not. Buy at your own risk. https://www.bigmarvel.com/vapeberri-tank-coils/
  9. Subohm tanks and coils need lots of air. Open that up and try it again.
  10. Have you contacted some of the places that make the wraps? I'd try that or you can make your own, just be sure to cut out ventilation areas.
  11. Not saying that the Baby Beast won't work for you, it might just not work for you right now. Yes, you might try getting an inexpensive beginner's tank like the Kanger Aerotank 2 like I suggested for another new vaper. One thing we haven't asked yet, though. Do you have the airflow on your Baby Beast wide open? This is a subohm tank and needs a lot of airflow or you'll get the burning sensation.
  12. I use wraps all the time on my mods but they're the precut ones. These days they're cheap enough to just buy.
  13. No need to feel dumb, we all had to start somewhere. As for the baby beast, I just recently got one and didn't care for the hot vapor even after I tried all the tricks to get it to work the way it's supposed to. It could be that you need something different for your own vaping style. In my opinion? I'd never start a new vaper with your kit, I'd go with something much easier and no subohm. My latest protoge got started with a couple of Vision Spinner batteries (that's what I had on hand to pay forward, not that I'd necessarily go this easy for most people starting out), and a couple of Kanger ProTank mini 3s with 1.8 ohm dual coils. Once he had that for a while I moved him to an Eleaf iPower 80W and a Kanger Aerotank 2. He's not interested in subohming, just wants off the smokes for now and is happy moving slow. Your mileage may be different.
  14. OP said he filled the tank and then let it sit overnight. That should have done the trick.
  15. Your... "pot"? I know today's 4/20 but that's not what we're here for.
  16. Whatever makes you happy is a good thing. Go you!

    Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  18. Did you thoroughly clean the tank and drip tip before using? If not, I would suggest you do that to remove anything like this as well as any machining oil residue before vaping. Don't know what this is but it certainly looks nasty.
  19. Like @Walt said, it's okay to run juice through it. As long as you didn't get several dry hits... in which case sometimes you have to dump the juice left in the tank, wash it all out, add new coil and put in fresh juice.
  20. Thanks for the link! I'm cautiously optimistic there could be an "easing up" of regs under this administration.
  21. Sam is gorgeous! And I can see about his tail, lol. Cody's about 7 months old now. He has the longest legs and torso I've ever seen on a Maltese.
  22. The puppy graduated... he knew all the commands. The SO still needs work.
  23. My memory sucks so if you remember, ask about this in another month or so. If I can't make it work the way I vape, I'll just give it to you. Better to have it be used than to sit and gather dust.
  24. Just curious... which Aspire tank was this? And great story!
