  1. USPS could get some great pointers from you, Proetus.
  2. What flavor did you try, Jeff?
  3. I wanna be Huggy Bear. Lol!
  4. Very well done. Thanks for sharing.
  5. What's that in the box above the two extra coils? Got a HUGE box full of styrofoam packing peanuts yesterday. Inside the packing peanuts was another sealed box. Inside that was lots of packing paper and then finally... six Boston Round 4 oz. glass bottles with drippers and several jars with lids to store my juices.
  6. In my experience with EC Blends' juices they all seem to get richer with time and steeping. Some get a bit smoother and creamier. Mmmmmm.
  7. Vaping a mix of EC Blends' Peppermint and blueberry this morning. It's a great way to wake up my taste buds. Happy Monday!

    K100

I just recently got a K100 so I'm going to guess here based on my experiences with it so far and the hardware you're describing. Not a pro with this thing by any means, just my opinions. When I used my HH.357 (2.0 ohm), it vapes a little warm on this unit. I'm going to guess it feels like 4.3 - 4.5 volt equivalent on my Vision Spinners. My Pro Tank and Pro Tank 2 both have 2.2 ohm coils in it and they vape the same as the 4.3 volts on my Spinners and the Evic to just a touch higher. I'm going to guess that the 4.3 - 4.5 voltage range is what it puts out. The battery I have in my K100 is the 18650 as well so we're comparing apples to apples here. If I were you I'd be getting 2.2 or 2.5 ohm coils. You say you're getting leaking from the tip, take the tank off the mod and wipe any excess juice from the bottom of the Pro Tank and from the connection part of the mod with a paper towel or tissue. Put the tissue near the end of the Pro Tank where it connects to the battery and blow into the tip. This should blow out the juice that's in your center post so you're not getting it into your mouth. If you still get leaking I'd be taking a hard look at the coils you have. Are they genuine Kangor coils or are they knock offs? The box should be black with the words Kanger Tech on the top flap. Knock offs have been known to leak pretty bad on these things. If the above doesn't work for you I'd be looking to take Bebop's advice to find a different shop with experienced vapers and/or get together with a friend who is more experienced to show you around your battery. Sorry you've had a bad experience so far but you've got a solid mod on your hands as well as a good tank. Just a few tweaks and you should be good to go. Stick with it!
  9. My preference is the Vision Spinner. I do have a Twist but it's so hard to read the numbers to see what voltage I'm at because it's etched into the smooth, too shiny metal. The Spinner has cross hatching on the part that spins so it's easier for me to grasp. The numbers for voltage are easily read as well because they're in plain sight. Other than that, they both perform the same. I don't know why so many people have trouble filling the Davide minis. It's really not hard to do, just takes a little bit of patience but it works with a rather large dripper for me. YMMV. When I'm not direct dripping all I use are the Davide minis.
  10. You can drip the juice into the drip tips but I prefer not to and just take the drip tips off to drip directly into the atomizer. It's less messy that way. The drip tips tend to have fairly small openings and the juice sometimes doesn't slide down and I get a mouthful of juice, which is less than desirable. I prefer the long drip tips as it's easier to grab onto to pull it off to drip. http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/driptaxxxl.htm http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/driptxxxl.htm You shouldn't get juice spillage on the couch or wherever unless you're waving the juice bottle all over the place or leaving it uncapped and it spills on its own. I highly recommend using a drip shield over the atomizer as the atomizer will ooze out juice as you drip. Without the drip shield it will get all over your hands, battery, the couch... or you could constantly be wiping at the excess. The drip shields keeps the juice contained and it also makes dripping much easier for those of us (read: me) who tend to over drip. Direct dripping with a regular atomizer has a learning curve. The custom HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid that I use has a whole new learning curve on top of the original learning curve. I'd suggest using a regular atomizer to learn first before putting out $25.00 for one. For that price you can get three or more of the others. I send off my HH.357 to be cleaned/rebuilt/whatever because I vape dark, sweet juices. This gunks up an atty's coil and Hanna (the guy who builds these coils), does not recommend dry burning to get it off. You can dry burn the less expensive coils to get gunk off without worrying so much about burning it out and fusing the wires together. That could happen but it's less expensive to replace if you do. A lot of people use direct dripping to sample different flavors. I don't do that at my local B&M because I don't like the ratios he mixes (70 VG and 30 PG). That's too much VG for me. Besides, I know what I like so I stick to that -- mostly.
  11. Cool! Let us know when you're all settled in and we'll start plotting making some plans.
  12. This was the first one south of Castle Rock but they said they're planning many more with a huge several day event in Denver. Hopefully, you'll be back for that!
  13. Your best bet is to get another battery or two as well as more tanks/clearomizers, etc. and rotate throughout the day. This will also allow you to continue to keep tasting your juice. If you vape one juice for too long you'll no longer be able to taste it after awhile. If you switch from several very different tasting juices you won't have this problem.
  14. Recently we've been hearing about Pro Tank coils not working, producing burnt flavor, burning out quickly...when we check further it's because the coils aren't genuine but knock offs. That's why I was asking. A week or more on a coil is pretty good if you're using it all the time. Kangor Pro Tanks are good bottom feeders. The Pro Tank 2 is even better than that. Looks like you've got a pretty good set up for your first time out.
  15. And steeping really enhances this one. Good to see I can get someone else hooked on this flavor. Hee.
  16. Welcome. Do you have original Kangor coils or are they knock offs? What ohms are they? What kind of juice are you using (nic level, PG/VG percentage)? With this extra information it'll be easier to figure things out.
  17. Um...at this point in the game I think I'm good. For now.
  18. Go with 12 mg, 50/50 or 60 PG/40 VG, double extra sweet. I wouldn't go the extra flavor as the original is good as is. For me, the extra flavor was just too much but YMMV. You're welcome.
  19. Steeped, yummy Feels Like a Nut... Seriously yummy. Damn! There. How's that? Dripping some Texas Select Pomegranate. Mmmmm
  20. Back ups!!! And back ups of back ups. Lol.
  21. Lol! And I didn't even bring in the "other" bag of goodies. You'll have to let me know how she goes, Troy. Hopefully, we got her into the gear she really needed to become a true vaper. The stuff she had was nice but was waaaay too advanced for a noob. The intimidation factor was hard at work to keep her from putting down the analogs altogether. I stayed for another hour after you and your lady left. While her hubby was learning how to rebuild coils for an RDA, we talked about vaping and tips and tricks. I'm cautiously optimistic that it'll take this time. Great to see you again and it was wonderful to get to meet your lovely lady. See you again in a week or two! Back ups and back ups of back ups. It's never a bad thing and you can never have too much.
  22. You have some talented artists in your family I see. Great looking Jack o' Lanterns, B!
  23. Did a search on Bucky's site and couldn't find any 510 atomizers on there. http://vaportalk.com/marketplace/510-atomizers/ http://www.discountvapers.com/atomizers/ You'll probably want to go with a 510 atomizer to start. My personal favorite these days is the custom HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid, but that's the Lamborghini of atomizers and not something a beginner would probably want to try at first, especially due to the cost and there is a learning curve associated with it over and above the regular learning curve of direct dripping. For someone new to dripping I'd suggest getting a bridgeless 510 atomizer in a 1.5, 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, or 2.5 ohm. The lower the resistance (number), the hotter the coil gets. My preference is a 2.0 ohm at around 4.0 volts for these types of atomizers. On my HH.357 I use a 2.0 ohm at 4.3 volts as recommended for this brand.
  24. Here's a link to the thread that got me started dripping. Hopefully, the information in the comments can answer some of your questions like they did for me.
