  1. Okay, I think I'm done for a bit with this latest order: 6 Custom HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid atomizers in standard 510, matte black, 2.0 ohm Yes, they really are that good!
  2. Pssst! It's not Rixter who does the coops, it's Proetus. For me I just can't go back to plastic anything other than drip tips, and even those I'm not using much any more. I'm pretty much using only stainless steel or anodized with direct dripping. Pyrex only for this kid.
  3. Not a problem at all. Here's the link: http://www.discountvapers.com/kanger-protank-evod-coil-replacement-5-pack-1-8ohms/ When you're just starting out it can be a bit confusing because there's just...so much of everything. Also, you may want to pick up a few different drip tips. On the Davide Mini you can change these to whatever you like. Drip tips are fun! Just don't get the kind that go with 306s, those are different. All of the 510-types will work for you. Here's a link: http://www.discountvapers.com/drip-tips/
  4. Why of course I do. It wouldn't do for me to steer you wrong, grasshopper.
  5. Just ordered another 125 ml but in 60 VG/40 PG this time. The last time I got it in 60 PG and it's too watery. Should've stuck with the 50/50 I've always gotten before. I figure if I mix it all together I should get 50/50 and a whole huge mess o' juice.
  6. There what is again?
  7. I would highly recommend an Anyvape Davide Mini and at least one 5-pack of 1.8 ohm replacement coils. If the Davide mini is a bit too airy when you take a draw, just put a tiny piece of tape over one of the three air holes at the base. If I were you I'd get more than one so you can keep different flavors in each and just change these out when you want to change flavors. I just ordered a bunch more from Discount Vapers. This way you'll be sure to get genuine Kangor coils (that's what the Davides and minis take). If you get knock offs you'll wind up with coils that don't work, that leak, and generally leave you very frustrated and wasted money. http://www.discountvapers.com/anyvape-davide-mini-glassomizer/ They're a little tricky to fill but man, are they worth it. The original coil that comes inside the Davide? Just take it out and throw it away. They never work well. The box comes with two replacement coils so just take one of them and put it into the clearomizer. These have Pyrex glass tanks so your juices taste so much better. Plus, there are some juices that will crack plastic tanks like what's in your Vivi Nova. You never have this problem with Pyrex. Rule no. 1 of vaping: Always have back ups for everything. Rule no. 2: Always have back ups of back ups for everything.
  8. 4 extra long stainless steel drip tips from Litecigusa. 4 Anyvape Davide minis 10 5-packs of Kangor Pro Tank coils 125 ml of EC Blends Feels Like a Nut in 60 VG/40 PG, double extra sweet (The last batch I bought I tried it at 60 PG/40 VG and it turned out way too thin. I figured if I went the other way and then mixed the two together I should get...a HUMONGOUS amount of juice in 50/50 blend.)
  9. My order of Dragon's Charm, Dragon's Magic and Rum Soaked Raisins from EC Blends came today. The two Dragon series juices are delicious straight out of the mailbox, the creaminess will come through in a week or three. Can't wait!
  10. The FLAN, while good right out of the vape mail really comes into its own after a week or more of steeping.
  11. That's great news that you've only had three analogs today. You'll want to get more flavors and switch between them several times a day. If you don't you won't be able to taste the juice anymore. Also, vaping will dehydrate you so be sure to drink lots of water (juice, coffee, tea, soda are okay but water is much better). Drinking more water also helps you to keep tasting your juices for longer periods of time. Vaper's tongue. We gots it.
  12. He already switched out the coil and that fixed the problem.
  13. It's a good thing something worked, I was running out of ideas. Lol!
  14. Totally agree with you, B. That's why I keep six Davide minis stocked and loaded with juice (at the moment) with several unused ones on the side still in their boxes. I need to restock those because I've been giving some away...all to good causes, though.
  15. Yep. Definitely plastic tank, and for that alone I didn't bother picking one up. After going with glass I don't think I could change back to plastic. KPT2 for me.
  16. You're going to be surprised at what you like and don't like in the juice department, especially as your taste buds heal once you give up the analogs altogether. Glad we were able to find a fix for you. Now, turn the Twist up a bit, vape, turn it up, vape, and repeat until you get a slight burning taste then turn it down a bit. That should give you a good indication of where you're sweet spot is for that juice.
  17. *takes a bow* Thank you. Thank you, kindly. I'll be here all week...
  18. Lol. What was it that finally worked?
  19. Do you know how many ohms your coil is? If it's a low resistance (1.5 or 1.8 ohm) coil 4.0 volts might be too high thus causing the burning. If you've already burned the coil wick there's nothing that will take away the burnt taste - usually. (Sorry, put in the wrong word there.) Do you have replacement coils for your Vivi Nova? If you do I'd pop a new coil in it, tip to get the wicks wet, wait a bit to let the wick soak up the juice and then try again. If you don't have extra coils, try taking off the coil and wick, run under very hot water (better if you have some vodka instead and do a soak), dab dry (get the wicks as dry as you can), replace and try again. If you do this the first several hits are going to not taste like anything until you get the water or vodka out of the wicks. Then, you should get some flavor. I'd get replacement coils in any case. With a Twist, you can get higher resistance and be okay. I like 1.8 up to 2.2 ohms, personally, and then vape at 3.8 to 4.3 volts.
  20. Their strawberry shortcake and blackberry are also very tasty. The lovely thing about EC Blends is that you can buy 5 ml bottles of juice for around $2.50 (prices go up a bit depending on any extras you add to it), so you can try all kinds of different flavors and mixes without committing to a big bottle of juice you may not like right off the bat. http://ecblendflavors.com/ I should be seeing my latest order from them tomorrow. A friend on this forum recommended rum soaked raisin to me recently. I've also got a bottle of Dragon's charm and Dragon's Magic coming. The first one is dragon fruit, raspberry and cream. The Dragon's Magic is dragon fruit, cream and ambrosia. Mmmmm. So far I've loved all the Dragon series of juices.
  21. With the long wicks and top coil of a Vivi Nova, you might be on to something here, Bebop. Thanks for chiming in. The bottom feeders (heating coils on the bottom of the tank), like the Kangor Pro Tank, Pro Tank 2, Anyvape Davide, Davide mini, etc. are all the rage these days. Not least because these all have Pyrex tanks. Some juices that are high in acidity like citrus juices, or high in cinnamon can crack plastic tanks like those on a Vivi Nova. Not so with Pyrex, you just have to not drop it or bang it hard on something. My personal recommendation for your Twist would be a Davide mini or a Pro Tank mini. Those are about the same diameter as your battery. The regular Davide and/or Pro Tank (1 & 2) are bigger and stick out over the side. There are collars that help make it look better.
  22. My main two juice vendors that I prefer are EC Blends and Vapor Dudes. Others on this forum have their favorites. This weekend I'll be making an order for some gingerbread from The Vapor Room. Not bragging but I've tried well over 200+ different flavors. Lol. Yes, I love blueberry. As a matter of fact I've got a Kangor Pro Tank 2 full of blueberry with a dash of peppermint (two different bottles of juice, I mix it in the tank). My allergies have been working overtime and my throat's been sore so this strange sounding concoction soothes my throat and makes my taste buds happy. Both are from EC Blends at 12 mg of nicotine, 50/50 blend.
  23. Virgin Vapor is a good company. I've gotten juices from them before although I use other vendors more often these days. Usually, the more VG, the thicker the juice, which can make wicking a little more difficult, it also produces more vapor and a little sweeter, smoother vape. PG is the flavor carrier. The more PG, the more throat hit, thinner juice, better flavor delivery. My personal preference is now a 60 PG/40 VG (it used to be 50/50 for a long time, though). Stick around here, read through the threads and you'll learn lots! The folks here are friendly and usually more helpful than this. I think they're shy tonight.
  24. You're welcome and no, it's not something you have to get used to. I'm thinking it might have something to do with your juice, however. Why 100% VG juice? Do you have an allergy to PG? If everything is going well, you should get a nice, smooth vape. What flavor are you using? Maybe that might have something to do with it. Did you get your juice online or at a brick & mortar store? I'm just going to keep asking questions and throwing out suggestions and possibilities, if you don't mind. I really want to see you succeed.
  25. Well then, the 24 mg of nic should be a good starting point for you. The Twist and Vivi Nova are both good units. I'm not sure at this point why you're getting such a burning sensation when you take a draw. Do you first take the vapor into your mouth, wait a sec and then inhale? If not, try that to see if the burning is lessened or eliminated. Good for you to go to vaping! It takes a little trial and error but the pay off is so worthwhile. Stick with it. Others should be by shortly and should come up with some other things to troubleshoot.
