Just got home from work and discovered that my 125 ml bottle of Feels Like a Nut came in from EC Blends. My last 125 ml order I changed it up and went with 60 PG/40 VG. It was way too thin and made my atty gurgle. This time I ordered 40 PG/60 VG, dumped them both into a huge glass jar so together they'll end up at the 50/50 ratio. And 250 ml. Oh what I won't do to get the perfect consistency in my juices. I've learned my lesson with this flavor and will not mess with the PG/VG ration again.

If you bought the ones I linked to, it comes with a drip tip type of thing on top. Yes, you take that off (and replace with drip tip of your choice or use it), drip inside, replace drip tip. The first several draws may not taste like anything as you'll have to get through the primer first.

Protank 2 / Mini Protank 2 / Replacement head interest thread
Tam replied to Proetus's topic in General Vaping Discussion
When's the deadline for the interest spreadsheet? There are a couple of people I'd like to talk with to see if they'd also be interested in ordering through me but I'm out of town tomorrow so it'll be a day or two before I can put my "interest" in. -
The little guy was more than worth it and had a rough start as a puppy mill rescue. As long as he wasn't in pain and still happy I just couldn't give up on him. I'm very thankful that we were in a position to be able to afford all that. His weekly chiropractor visits made all the difference. His chiropractor is a saint and even gave me her personal number in case he needed emergency care between his appointments.

If you go to specialtybottle.com you could get the same 30 ml (1 oz) bottle with dropper for .87 cents. Just sayin'. http://www.specialtybottle.com/amberbostonroundglassbottle1ozwdropper.aspx

No, you're not reading it wrong. I believe they use distilled water to cut the thickness of the juice, if I remember correctly and...yes, yes I do. "Our ingredients are simple: nicotine, organic vegetable glycerin, distilled water and certified organic flavors. Some of our organic flavors come in an organic ethyl alcohol base. If you would prefer an alcohol-free e-liquid, please order from our Absolute line. On request, your e-liquid will also contain propylene glycol. Our e-liquids NEVER contain artificial colors, artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners or any other additives." Emphasis mine. Read the FAQ here: http://www.virginvapor.com/pages/frequently-asked-questions Only if you request it do they use PG in your juices. I've ordered from them before and their juices are good, if a tiny bit on the "more expensive than other places" side.

For me it all depended on what kind of juice it was. The creamier stuff needed a minimum of two to three weeks while the fruity flavors took considerably less time. Just take the cap off, put it into a dark place away from kids and animals, shake once a day and try it every few days to see if it's where you want and where it tastes good for you. Sorry, but that's the best advice I can give for this.

Yes. The Mt. Baker's flavors that I wound up liking all needed to steep for quite some time.

My little guy, Mikey, got a bad cataract in his right eye and wound up having regular appointments with an ophthalmologist. His last two years he had an ophthalmologist, an internal specialist, his regular vet and a chiropractor. He had better healthcare than me and my SO. Lol. Still, he was a happy camper all the way to the end of his days. I hope your dog pulls through okay.

New member and not feeling good after vaping
Tam replied to joshc08's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
What BirdDog said. Also, what kind of set up did you get? The battery type, the atomizer/clearomizer/cartomizer/tank? You also went from one extreme to the other on the ratio of PG/VG. I'd suggest trying some 50/50 and go from there. Just a thought. -
I don't kiss and tell, Bebop. You should know that!

What I'd like from Santa this year has nothing to do with vaping, I think I have more than enough stuff in that area -- for now anyway. My main wish is to have some uninterrupted time to myself so I can get some rest. This is a very rare thing for me these past few years so, if I've been good enough to rate a gift, this would be what I'd like.

But they only use PG "on your request." It's not in their usual mix.

I'm not sure how it's done but you could ask over at Virgin Vapor. They do the 100% VG and extract the flavors themselves. I think they sometimes cut it with distilled water so it's not too thick...

Different vapor production with wattage levels
Tam replied to Grant951's topic in General Vaping Discussion
My K100 (no kick) produces way more vapor than my Evic. The mech mod gives me better performance, so much so that my Evic just sits here collecting dust while the K100 gets quite the workout. -
From EC Blends: 50 ml blueberry 50 ml peppermint 15 ml Orange Ripple All at 12 mg nic, 50/50 blend.

Any way to make a 2.5ohm coil suck less? (literally)
Tam replied to Grant951's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Thanks for the info, Medic. Since I've only bought the first runs I didn't know that the second and consequent ones came with the collars included. -
Low or high resistance? Depends on the user, the battery, what you like... I prefer a 2.0 ohm personally at 4.0 volts with the bridged and bridgeless atomizers. Like anything else in vaping, though, it's all what you find you like better. No one person can tell you that. Sorry I can't be of more help.

If your MVP2 has a 510 connection it should work just fine. Any 510 or 901 drip tip will fit. I would recommend getting a drip shield from Empire Mods to keep the juice from getting all over everything but that's just my preference. Since I'm not familiar with the MVP2 I have no idea which drip shield you should get other than to go with genuine Empire Mods' brand. Keith, the owner, is who invented them. All others are knock offs and we all know what happens when you use those... The atomizers I linked to have bridges. If you want you can buy bridgeless atomizers like this one here: http://www.discountvapers.com/search.php?search_query=Bridgeless+&x=0&y=0 They're not necessarily "better" in my opinion, but I prefer these to the bridged. Either one will work just fine.

I have this t-shirt, does it count? *saunters off singing* http://www.shirttrader.com/shirt/comma-chameleon.html

Any way to make a 2.5ohm coil suck less? (literally)
Tam replied to Grant951's topic in General Vaping Discussion
You can either buy a collar for it or an air flow restrictor. The original Pro Tanks came with a collar but they didn't include one for the Pro Tank 2... -
Somehow when I first read this I read: Five Prawns and went, "Eeeewww!"
-
This is one of the first atomizers I started with. It's a good performer, the least expensive that I've found, and very forgiving to new drippers. http://vapelite.info/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22_47&products_id=62

If you're using 100% VG I'd forego the top coils with wicks and buy a bottom feeder like the Kangor Pro Tank 2 or Davide or Davide mini instead. They're a bit more forgiving that way. Still, 100% VG is pretty thick for any tank-type clearomizer. Like Troy, I prefer 50/50.
