  1. In the world of machining they're all going to CNC now, it's much more precise...
  2. The first thing I would check is whatever it is that you're using on it. What kind of clearomizer/tank/atomizer/cartomizer, etc. are you using?
  3. What kind of battery are you using? At what watts/voltage? That could make a difference.
  4. In the video it says the seller's name is ebanlan.
  5. Wow, an article that actually presents facts instead of going for the "it's dangerous and going to kill our kids!" scare tactic. Thanks for the link, Uma.
  6. The "no glue is used in the entire process" might as well read: No radioactive materials are used in the entire process..." Why put in a mention of something that isn't used?
  7. That's what I've successfully used in the past. You'll want to replace the water when it gets luke warm several times shaking the bottles between refills.
  8. I am also going to suggest a Vision Spinner like Troy did. Even though it doesn't use separate batteries it's a very solid device, variable voltage, and the 1300 is going to last you quite a few hours before needing to recharge. That said, if the Lavatube was your only battery and whatever you're going to buy is the replacement, you will want to get two Vision Spinners so you'll have one to vape on while the other is charging. A 1300 takes 3 - 5 hours to fully recharge. Once you can get more back ups. And back ups of back ups. That way you won't be in this situation again. Good luck!
  9. Even at 5 volts the vapor is wimpy on my dual coil iClear 30s and Evic. That's two new tanks that have performed less than the single coils I have: the iClear 30s and the KPT3. For the price difference I think I'll stick with the single coils that actually perform for me.
  10. Well, the thread does say to bump when I bought something new. As a rule I don't drink any kind of sodas anymore, diet or regular, but I found glass bottles of Mountain Dew made with real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. GLASS bottles! Bought two cases of 24 and promptly put them into a tub of ice water to chill them real quick. They taste like the Mountain Dew I remember from my childhood. OMG. Soooo good!
  11. My VTR came with an iClear 30s, which is the dual coil. Here's another plastic tank that impresses me. NOT. It came with 1.8 ohm dual coil. I've got my Evic up to 4.3 volts, 10.2 watts and still get little vapor. The same juice is in my KPT2, 1.8 ohm single coil on my K100 and it blows out so much vapor I had to open the window to let it air out a bit. Put the iClear 30s on my K100 and...holy wimpmobile, Batman! It gives off a wispy whimper of vapor with a super harsh throat hit. Maybe I got a dud. Maybe I'm not doing something right. Dunno, but I'll tell you this: I won't be spending money buying another one of these when the KPT2 blows it away hands down. ETA: Just on a whim I took off my drip tip and replaced it with the one that originally came with the iClear 30s and...the throat hit's not quite as harsh. Still muting the flavor and still majorly wimpy vapor. *sighs*
  12. Just ordered 2 50-ml bottles of blueberry from EC Blends at 50 PG/50 VG at 12 mg. Wish they sold these by the 125 ml but they don't. They still offer the 20% discount on all orders so that took away a chunk of change. My SO just purchased four Panasonic NCR 18650B at 3400 mAh at 3.7v from a 100% positive feedback seller on ebay with free shipping at $11.99 each. Early Christmas present.
  13. For some odd reason I've always wanted to like Vision clearos, it's probably because I started out with them. Unfortunately I finally had to throw in the towel because Every. Single. Vision clearomizer failed, usually in a rather spectacular way. Now, I stay with Kangor or Anyvape. Those have worked well so far when I'm using the tanks. Still prefer to direct drip though, it's much less hassle for me.
  14. Feh. I would hope they scrapped the original design of the dual coils and started from scratch. Do you know where to get these "new and improved" dual coils Are they selling them separately or are they just putting them into the package with the KPT3?
  15. With how much more the dual coils cost than the single coils I'm inclined to stay with the latter. You would think that dual coils would perform better but no.
  16. http://www.discountvapers.com/anyvape-davide-mini-glassomizer/ At $11.99 these Anyvape Davide minis are my only go-to tanks that I use when I'm not direct dripping. The performance is excellent with the exception of the coil that comes inside the tank when you first get them. Those I usually just throw away because they never perform. The good news is that these come with two extra coils inside the box. You can replace the drip tips with any colored ones you want provided they're for the 510, which most are anyway. So far they only come in clear glass at Discount Vapers. They say more colors are on the way. The tanks are replaceable so you should be good to change those out when the glass part is stocked. I've dropped mine a couple of times onto ceramic tile and so far haven't had an issue. It might be I just got lucky but these things have been pretty durable so far.
  17. Yep. : I'm also having issues with the KPT3 coils. Currently using a 2.0 ohm and having to push my VTR up to 4.0 volts at 12 watts to get any joy. Still not up to the performance I'm used to with the single coil on my K100. *sighs*
  18. The original Vision Spinner didn't have a rainbow colored one until about six months ago so it could be coming later.
  19. Depending on the flavor some EC Blends juices are great right out of the mailbox while others do need to steep awhile. You can let it steep with the cap on or off. Or you could speed steep by putting the bottles into a ziplock baggie (this is just to keep the label from getting soggy and the writing illegible), get as much air out as possible, immerse in a bowl of hot water (not boiling) and let sit until the water cools. Repeat a couple of times shaking the bottles between water changes. This seems to steep the juices much faster. Vape Dudes' juices have never needed steeping for me. You can't go wrong with Medic's Flatline. He'll customize your juice six ways from Sunday and it's always good.
  20. I was just thinking the same thing. With the other vendors I routinely buy from I've gotten spoiled because they email me every step of the way so I know what's going on, where it's at, etc.
  21. Use only genuine Kangor Pro Tank coils. There are a lot of knock offs out there and those cause all kinds of problems. The extra coils that came with your Pro Tank should be okay to use. I'd also be getting more replacement coils so you don't have to do without when the last one goes. As for your iTaste I only just got my VTR today so I can't give you any advice. Someone on this forum who has more knowledge of these will be along to give you some information. The members on here are pretty great.
  22. Thanks for the congrats. It's been a wild ride so far. It's not a variable voltage battery? No brand name on it? Could you take a pic of it? That might help a bit as there are so many different kinds of batteries... As for the coils going out that quickly, it's not uncommon to get bad coils inside the tanks. Nearly all of the coils that came in my Anyvape Davide mini are junk. I just take them and throw them out, put new coils in before filling the first time. Same with my Pro Tank 2s and 3s. The initial coils in these things are notorious for being less than quality build.
  23. Pro Tanks are usually good. The coils that come in them? Usually not so much. It might just be the coil itself that needs to be changed to stop the leaking. What kind of variable voltage battery are you using? Before trying to troubleshoot that, a little more info is needed.
  24. I'm thinking something along the lines of the sledge variety.
