  1. What exactly are you using? Without that information I can't begin to help with your questions. What brand and style of battery? Which clearomizer? What ohm coil? Also, one other thing. The reason why you're not getting any "smoke" is because there is nothing combustible when you vape. If you set something on fire it will give off smoke. We "vape" and get "vapor". It's a small distinction but something we prefer in order to differentiate ourselves from cigarettes and all the negativity related to "smoking".
  2. The Veteran Vaper site offers free shipping on orders of $75 or more. You'll be hard pressed to get better customer service than what Brian provides. He's great about answering questions and I've only heard raving positive feedback from everyone I've referred to him. Every single person I've referred who has done business with Brian has has a great experience. That's a tough act to follow.
  3. $33 for a 1300 mAh??? The Veteran Vaper sells them for $24.95. http://www.theveteranvaper.com/vision-spinner-1300mah-variable-voltage-battery/
  4. I'm so sorry to hear about your mother but I'm very glad you switched to vaping and made good on your promise. Best wishes for a long good vaping streak with your new mod!
  5. The good thing about vaping is that it's not an all or nothing thing. Every once in a while I'd light one up, take two or three drags, then run to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take a shower. I can't stand the taste and smell of them anymore, but it's good to know that I'm no longer tempted. At. All.
  6. Thanks, but we make the best of what's there. Is it a pain to have to remember everything? Yeah, but the positive side is that modern medicine has come so far that we now actually have these PITA things to haul around.
  7. Since it's the Twist, just turn the voltage down all the way. Vape. If it's not performing to your satisfaction/giving you the flavor or vapor it should, turn it up a little and vape. Repeat until you get a slight burnt taste then back it down a little. That should be your sweet spot.
  8. Only when we have good base material to work with. Thank you. Thank you. We'll be here all week...
  9. I think most of us vape or vaped more than we smoked. As long as you're not experiencing any negative symptoms...vape away! Be sure to increase your water intake as vaping dehydrates you. Better to stick with more water than soda, juice, coffee or tea, though. Also, a sign of dehydration is the inability to taste your juice like you did.
  10. You're just fine. When we give up the analogs it's normal to need a little extra nicotine to stave the cravings. Once you vape for awhile you might want to look at lower the nic a bit. The numbers are loose guidelines, not written in stone. If it ain't broke, don't fix it would be a good mantra for you at this point in time. If it's throat hit you want, you could go with a higher PG ratio in your juice. That also affects throat hit. But for now I'd stay with what's working for you. As a Marlboro Light smoker for decades I started with 24 mg of nic to get me through the quitting phase. After awhile I noticed I was getting slightly dizzy, a little nauseous, headaches, etc. (all symptoms of nicotine overdose), so I lowered the nic level in my juice. Problem fixed. You're doing fine as is. Keep it up!
  11. You know...you only need to post this once. We won't ignore you.
  12. Lol! You're going to have to work much harder to earn the right to wear that hat!
  13. And looks very much like it was run through Google translate. *sighs* Basically, it's an advertisement whitewashed as an instruction manual.
  14. If the instruction manual on the 134 is anything like what came with my VTR -- it's all but useless.
  15. It might help us to help you if you could take a picture of your "top bit"? This is also why we don't recommend mods to new vapers, it's better to start off with batteries that are simpler...
  16. Yay! Congrats, and may you have many more.
  17. Yeah, thanks. Josh already gave me lots of good tips as he has the same torch. It's just me. I can rebuild an engine but can't fill a butane torch. Pathetic. Lol.
  18. I can't believe I'm this inept. There's nothing wrong with my torch, I just have hell trying to fill the stupid thing with Butane. The nozzel and can won't cooperate.
  19. I like that. Next time I'm having a "senior moment," I can just say, "I'm having a short in my atty" instead. Lol.
  20. And for a beginner like me, I think I'd like that "fun" taken away. At least for now. Lol.
  21. Thanks for the advice. I'll give that a try.
  22. I'm just talented that way. *rolls eyes at self* Is it not good to have that high an ohm for RDAs?
