There are different types of direct dripping. The kind that he's talking about is just using an atomizer, not an RDA so he won't be sub-ohming nor will he need to learn how to build a coil. All you need to do is to buy an atomizer like this: https://www.vaportalkstore.com/product-p/510-atomizer-lr.htm Since I believe he has a fixed voltage battery I would suggest getting a low resistance atomizer to make it work well. The 1.7 ohm I linked to should be fine. He'll also want to get a drip tip (mouth piece) to put on top. For convenience and to keep things from getting messy I would also suggest getting a drip shield (you'll want to make sure to get one for a 510/901 type of atomizer, other types and styles won't fit right). At the top of this page on the upper right hand side you'll see a magnifying glass. Click on that and type: direct drip. That should bring up all kinds of threads on direct dripping. READ THESE and take heed to the advice because there is a learning curve to it. Good luck!

Typing on my cell gives me a whole new vocabulary and typos like no one's ever seen before!

Touch typing. It's how it's done. Lol.

If I were you I'd go with 24 mg of nic to start -- at a 50 PG/50 VG ratio. Nearly all e-liquid vendors offers that. In the long run you're spending way more by buying the $20 rig because you have to keep buying the expensive cartridges for them. Better to spend $50 or $60 dollars now and have much less upkeep later on. Just my two cents.

Yes. As a rule the sweet, dark juices tend to gunk up coils faster than clear, not as sweet juices.
-
Nah. I'm thinking SUCKS.
-
Oh. Thanks for the clarification. I was under the impression that he was saying they SUCK!!!
-
Hey, Troy. So are you saying that Erolls suck?

I keep hearing about Five Pawns so I just ordered some Perpetual Check, Queenside and Sixty-Four.

Just opened a new one to try for myself. After thoroughly rinsing off the machining oil (the smell seemed a bit stronger on these than in the other ones), I filled it up and tried the coil that came inside. Some things don't change. The coil that comes inside it is crap, just like all the other Davide mini coils. After putting in a 1.8 ohm coil from a 5-pack I tried it again. It doesn't seem to vape any differently.

How long will they be there, Troy? If tanks and bottles are not allowed, how about prefilling a whole bunch of cartomizers so they can take the juices they like? Cartomizers are fairly inexpensive to buy. Just a thought.

If I were you I'd change out the coil to see if that helps. If the throat hit's too harsh you might want to decrease the nic level. At 50/50 or even 60 PG/40 VG, your ratios shouldn't be affecting things.

I wouldn't cover up more than one hole, it does need a certain amount of air to flow through -- in my opinion. What kind of battery are you using on it? If it's variable voltage, what's the voltage setting you're using? What ohm coil is in there? What PG/VG ratio is your juice? What nic content? If you can answer these questions that'll help us to help you.

Just checked my mini Davides I got in recently and yes, they are slight thinner. I put the new one in front of the old one and you can see the difference. Wonder why they did that? Have you noticed any difference in how they vape other than holding less liquid?

What did your ohm meter read? Do you have one that you're testing your builds on before putting it on your batteries? You're not using your MVP to check ohms, are you? If you don't have a separate ohm meter I would strongly suggest you get one. Safety first!

You'll also want to do research on how much insurance you'll need to carry, how to get a small business license in your town, the county/city/state/federal taxes you'll have to pay... Don't forget that you'll also want to keep a stash of cash aside for "just in case" emergencies that may come up as well as enough cash and a little more to keep in your register -- once you buy one of those. There is a lot to opening a small business. You would do well to contact a community college in your area and talk with someone in their small business/community division. They should have classes set up so you can learn all about what you need to know before opening one. That's also a good way to network with other business professionals in your area so they can refer customers to your store.

Right. We all know this but noobs don't, they all come in asking what's the best... The OP is asking for the questions we get from noobs all the time.
-
What is the best...juice/throat hit/tank/battery/mod, etc. They want to know what the "best" is.

One of my first Spinners finally bit the dust. Although I plan to buy a V2 when it comes out I still went ahead and replaced the first one. They're really worth it.

Comp's is five from the left/bottom and mine is second from left/top.

Since you haven't been vaping that long I have to wonder how long you let your juices steep before deciding you don't like the flavor? Some flavors can take several weeks before it gets "good". Some flavors I didn't care for when I got them tasted so much better after I let them sit for a month or so. Just a thought.

Are you sure? -
My all day every day vape is Feels Like a Nut from EC Blends with double extra sweet added. It tastes like an Almond Joy -- to me. I've been stuck on this flavor for nearly a year and buy it by the 125 ml bottles. If you like sweet so much how about just getting a bottle of sweetener so you can add to your juices?

Congrats! I'd be happy if they'd just let me pay for a stainless steel one and send it to me...

Has anyone ever bought from VaporKick.com?

I've never heard of them, either. Do you see their physical address anywhere on their website? If you do I'd get a hold of the BBB in their area to see if they could help.
