  1. Regardless of whether you buy a pass through or a regular battery -- you'll have to replace it at some point, Blanche. Just like other rechargeable batteries like the ones for...say, a flash light. They will only recharge so many times before they won't take a charge anymore. My eGo-C pass throughs have lasted a little more than a year or so. They will eventually need to be replaced. A Vamo is a mod or what's more commonly known as an APV (Advanced Personal Vaporizers). This is a more "advanced" form of battery that takes an external battery (sort of like a bigger form of a Duracell type). You can take the battery out and charge it in a separate charger. For now I think this is more advanced than you'll want to go. It's a variable voltage/variable wattage device. Maybe, once you're more experienced, you might want to venture into mods but not right now. http://www.fasttech.com/product/1491700-vamo-v5-variable-voltage-wattage-mod-apv KIS = Keep It Simple or another variation is KISS = Keep It Simple, Stupid.
  2. I'm with you, B. Despite the various mods I have, I still prefer my Vision Spinners most of the time. That may change once I get the hang of the RDAs, but somehow I just can't imagine it will.
  3. Yep. Pay close attention to their message: This is s special sale due to a new Mini coming in that will take aspire coils heads, so if you like this one that takes Kanger heads get it now we will not be carrying this one in the future. I'll need to keep a close eye on which ones use the KPT coils and which use the Aspire ones in future if I wind up getting the new Davide minis. You know I probably will just to compare the two.
  4. Thanks, Josh. I'm thrilled!
  5. You're right! Who would've thought that a candy bar flavored e-liquid could be the ticket to lowering cholesterol. Lol!
  6. A USB passthrough is an e-cig that can be plugged into a USB port with a cord so that it's charging yet you can still vape at the same time. This also means you are stuck having to be near whatever you're using the USB cord on -- something like a leash. I started out with passthroughs and they're okay...if you don't mind having to stay in one place all the while you vape. Buying a new battery or two for extra back up would be my personal choice, which is what I ended up doing.
  7. Coffee tastes much better when ingested the traditional way. Yeah, I scared my dog laughing so much.
  8. What I've discovered about the IGO W4 is that the holes for air flow are too small, which is what creates a harsh throat hit. No matter what ohm coils I've built, the vapor was harsh enough to take my tonsils out. For some time I thought it was my coils but I don't think so anymore. Sometime soon I'll be drilling them out to 1/16" to see if that helps. YMMV.
  9. Yep. If you like wintergreen, you're gonna LOVE the mint melody.
  10. Woo hoo! Congrats!
  11. Just got the results back from a recent blood test. Two years ago (long story) my LDL cholesterol was at a little over 200, which is very, very not good and considered to be "extremely high." I couldn't tolerate any of the many different cholesterol lowering statins because I wound up with some really nasty side effects from them. Today? I'm at 128, which is at "near or at optimal." My triglycerides are excellent, HDL number is good and overall cholesterol is at 196. 200 is the desired number but lower is better. The only thing I do differently from then is...I stopped smoking and started vaping. My diet's always been full of healthy-ish things with lots of fresh fruit and veggies with an occasional steak and pizza but pretty rarely at that. When I'd asked my doc if he thought vaping would make a difference and lower my cholesterol he snapped at me with a, "it won't make any difference at all!" I need to find a new and more informed doctor. I want to tell him, "There! You bast@rd! Take that!" Lol.
  12. You must have been one of the three who got decent tanks then.
  13. And they don't charge anything extra to do this! Hey, Jeff! Did I just hear the sound of the ban hammer coming down?
  14. That was hilarious! OMG. Did you hear the thud as I fell off my chair? Thanks, I needed that.
  15. You should be able to vape on it just like with a single coil without flooding, it shouldn't give you the type of trouble like what you're experiencing.
  16. It could very well be the coil that came with the tank. Every Anyvape Davide mini I've bought (and it's probably near 20 of them now), the coil that came with the tank was junk. The rest of the coils, as well as replacement coils, all worked great, though. In my experience, dual coils go through juice much faster than single coils -- especially if the darned thing leaks -- it goes through juice even faster!
  17. Thanks for the explanation. I'll go look it up.
  18. Me, neither. The one that came with my iTaste VTR never worked right. It did, however, look great in my trash can!
  19. What is Ice-Road trucking?
  20. Yep. What Vispera said.
  21. You know...it's never a good idea to post your physical address online. It's not a safe practice and is just asking for identity theft to happen.
  22. Just got a gold colored Magneto mechanical mod from Fadora Vapor. Pair that with a Kanger Pro Tank 2 with a 1.8 ohm coil and an 18650 battery and it's rocking my socks off. Haven't been able to put it down since I opened the package tonight. It's become my favorite mod in just a few short hours. Compenstine, the owner of Fadora, is a member here and gives the most excellent customer service, great prices and some of the very best tasting quality juice. His Signature line is amazing!
  23. What kind of coils are you ordering for $9 a box of five? If they're KPT coils I get mine from Discount Vaper at $6 per box. Had Sweet-Vapes screw up an order of juice over $75 and wasn't happy with how they handled it. Yes, I got an apology but little else for the extra that I paid to have it shipped priority and I had to wait over two weeks to get the right order. I take my business elsewhere now.
  24. Taught my friend's son how to drive. She bought him my old Mazda 626 5-speed but then had to ground him when he took the car out when he wasn't supposed to. They lived at the top of a hill so he'd go out, put it in neutral 'til he got to the bottom of the hill then popped the clutch to start. She wouldn't hear the engine because he was all the way down the hill when he did it. She did notice that he wasn't at home and asked me for some help. I took out the distributor but put the cap back into place. He thought he was being pretty clever with his trick until the car didn't start, he couldn't figure out why, and the boys couldn't push the car back up the hill back to where it had been parked. His mom and I pretended we didn't know what was going on. It was the funniest thing! He also learned not to try to side step any punishment from that.
  25. Don't you hate that? You get yourself all screwed up and ready for a great hissy fit and someone comes along and ruins it by making you laugh. *slaps hand over mouth to keep from laughing*
