You never want to us a mod to measure your coil's ohms on a build, they're not always accurate. Always use a separate ohm meter. Time to go shopping!
-
In your order did you also buy an ohm meter?

I remember when they first came out with a big splash and much fanfare. Then, nothing more was heard about them. Always wondered if they worked or not. Now, I know.

Aren't those the tanks where you could put two different flavors in, one on top and a different one on the bottom part of the tank? Or am I thinking of something else?
-
Yes, a bigger hammer will fix that right up!

After all the Vision fails I've had I completely forgot about the Vivi Novas, Brian! Now that I think about it, that was the only Vision tank that didn't cause a headache and actually worked for me. Thanks for the reminder!

We see new vapers ask, "What's the BEST ____?" all the time. We also explain why there really isn't a 'best' anything other than what works 'best' for YOU. Let's flip that over and ask, "What's the WORST _____?" and I'll qualify that by adding, "...tank you've ever tried and why is it on your list?" I've got quite a list of tanks that didn't work for me. Here's a few. Vision tanks in general but the Victory tank in particular. Every single Vision tank I've ever tried, and there have been so many, have all leaked. They perform well for all intents and purposes but they ALL leak! Some worse than others. The Victory started off well enough, then, when I was vaping I felt something wet. There was juice running out of the bottom of the tank. UGH. The iClear 30b worked for about three minutes before it started behaving so badly that I had to trash the thing. What are the worst tanks you've experienced and why?

To date there hasn't been enough long term studies done on vaping to say it's totally harmless. From all the benefits we've seen from vapers so far -- we can say with some confidence -- that it's less harmful than smoking cigarettes. That said, why would you want to ingest more chemicals than you need to? Denture cleaning tablets must have some pretty caustic chemicals in them to get all the stains off of dentures. These chemicals get into the wick and stay there. Because denture tablets are made for an entirely different purpose and are not meant to be heated and inhaled, I would be very apprehensive to use them to clean wicks. Many of us on the forum use vodka to clean wicks and coils or just plain hot water. You can do what you want but Comp makes some really good points and my opinion is just something to think about. YMMV.

Comp should have the Snickerdoodle on this website soon-ish. Shoot him a PM to see if you can get him to put it up a little faster. -
Fadora's Snickerdoodle. My comfort vape.

Maybe list it over on the Member Classified thread to see if someone is interested in taking them off your hands. You might recoup some of your money there. -

Yeah, that seems to be the consensus. -
You're having cravings because your nicotine levels are too low. My SO chews and he says the amount of nic he gets from his Skoal is so much more than a regular cigarette. I'd go with 24 mg of nic juice for during the day. Even when I was smoking (Marlboro Lights), I needed the extra nic to get totally off the cigarettes so I started with 24 mg and worked my way down when I was ready. Maybe give it a try?

Help 30 years of smoking, can't get VTR adjusted right

I love my VTR but it doesn't get half as much use as my Vision Spinners (variable voltage much like an eGo Twist). -

VG is vegetable glycerine, you find it in so many things you already use and ingest. As for finding a good e-juice vendor, it all depends on you. The matter of taste is so subjective so what tastes great to one person will taste vile to another. Only you can say what tastes good for you. That said, I would recommend starting with a 50/50 blend at first to see how that works for you. If you want more throat hit you get more PG. You want more vapor? Get more VG, but the 50/50 or 40 PG/60 VG should be about all the VG you could want. When I get more VG than that the juice starts tasting like I'm sucking on a glycerine bar -- to me. Go to the E-liquid review area of the forum and read what others like. My personal favorites are (not in any order), Fadora Vapor, Flatline Vapor, EC Blends, Vape Dudes, Five Pawns...everyone has their favorites. -
Most of those coils/wicks look brand new.

They both look absolutely...angelic in that picture, which tells me they're probably plotting something nefarious. -

What Troy said. Also, the tank that came with the VTR never worked for me. In my experience and personal preference, the wicks just don't absorb the juice fast enough not to give me dry hits and it mutes the flavor more than I like. I would suggest at least looking into getting a Kanger Pro Tank 2 or an Anyvape Davide with a 1.5 or 1.8 ohm coil. The two I named are basically the same tank made by different companies. For me, I prefer the Davide as it seems to give me better performance and flavor. Vaping is somewhat similar to smoking but not quite. You'll need to learn how to take long, slow inhales. When I smoked, like you, I used to suck hard and fast and be done with a cigarette in no time. You're no longer a smoker. Try being more conscious of how you're inhaling. It takes some time to get used to but it's more than worth it. The amount of vapor you're getting will also be influenced on the PG/VG ratio of your e-liquid. More VG = more vapor. Keep in mind that more VG also means thicker juice so it can have trouble wicking as fast as a thinner juice that you'd get from more PG. I would go with a 50 PG/50 VG or 40 PG/60 VG to start. The 50/50 I use gives me lots of vapor. Also, how much humidity in the air can also determine how much vapor you're getting. More humidity, more vapor. Good luck, and welcome! -
LOL!

NCR 18650B 3400 mAh 3.7 volts. I got mine from my local B&M but they also have an online presence. They're on sale at $17.99 right now. http://www.vaporsourceecigs.com/evicbattery3400mah I've never had any rattle but it might depend on what you're using them in. I use mine in my iTaste VTR, Kamry K100, Evic and Magneto. YMMV. -

I love my 18650 Panasonics. They last for a long time (3400 mAh) and, for me, they're just perfect. You get what you pay for. -
And the conversation just went south in a hurry. *doubles over laughing*
