Just like my Evic. It's pretty and makes a great paperweight. As an APV? Not so much. :/

Isn't Ontario where you get the Nautilus in mass quantities? -

My Evic is an expensive paper weight. No, my batteries have never drained like that in it because I don't use a Nautilus tank on it. I've had Kanger Pro Tank 2 and 3 on them, though. I'm thinking of getting a Nautilus but waiting for the big vape meet on the 24th. Might pick up one of them then. See? Did you like how I got it back on track? -

You'll probably have much more to say once you try the juice. -
Post a pic?

Both types of batteries work just fine on my K100...Have you tried charging the batteries until they're fully charged before trying on the K100? Is it making a good connection? Try taking the bottom part of the mod off and look where the spring is. Double check that the spring is tight, it might be loose and that's not connecting to the battery. Just a thought.

Where I Am and where I'm Headed

Gee, I guess I shouldn't gripe about a two hour drive. Lol. My backside hurts by the time I drive just that "little" bit. -
Congrats on your wedding anniversary, B! That's a beautiful vehicle. No wonder she's so happy, I would be, too.

While SteezeOG's suggested set up is nice, I wouldn't recommend it for someone new to vaping. If you have the one Vamo and something happens to it -- you have no back up, and it's also more complicated than you're probably ready for right now with all the other stuff you'll need to learn. You'll most definitely want to move up to a better set up later, though, and the Vamo is a good APV (advanced personal vaporizer) when you do. A Vision Spinner kit like in the link below might be a better starting place. The Spinner is a variable voltage device and very simple, yet gives room to grow. http://www.carolinaecigs.com/smoov-vision-spinner-1300-mah-variable-voltage-kit-electronic-cigarette.html These 1300 mAh batteries should last you well over 12 hours (depending on your coil resistance, how much you vape, etc.), but it's a very good work horse. I have several that have lasted well over a year before they needed to be replaced, and they're still my go-to battery that I use every day despite having a couple mechanical mods and APVs in my arsenal. I would suggest getting a lower resistance coil like a 1.5 or 1.8 ohm for your clearomizer or tank. These two terms are basically interchangeable. The clearomizer is called that due to having a clear "tank" for your juices. I personally prefer the 1.8 ohm coils but you may find you like other resistances better, only you will be able to say which one works best for you once you try different ones.

Sorry, I don't DIY so I won't be much help to you. Others who do will more than likely chime in and will be better able to help. One thing you might think about is to reorder these same juices with 24 mg nic and then mix the two together to get to 12 mg. Don't know if you'd want to do that, though, but it would solve the problem of losing the flavor when mixing.

You could create your own flavor with EC Blend http://www.ecblendflavors.com/01-create-your-own-e-liquid-wizard-by-ecblend/ and not add any flavors. Just be aware that you're going to dilute the flavor of the juice if you mix 30 ml of non-flavored juice with nic with 30 ml flavored juice without nic.

Since peppermint is a pretty strong flavor I go with 90% blueberry and 10% peppermint, or even less peppermint to start. Dang! I'm so sorry, Ma! Forgot to get the mojito out to you! Either today or tomorrow latest. Got busy with stuff and...I forgot. *hangs head*

If you vape a lot then the battery won't last a whole day, not the 900 mAh anyway. When I'm chain vaping these they may last four to five hours. If I know I'm going to be vaping more than usual I go with my Spinner 1300 mAh. Those last longer due to being a bigger battery. As a matter of fact I just killed my 1300 just now chain vaping tonight. It was fully charged when I started using it around 2 o'clock this afternoon. If I'm not chain vaping it will last much longer.

When it turns green is it a steady green or does it blink? Do you take it off the charger as soon as it turns green? My Vision Spinners (900 mAh) all take at least 2 to 3 hours to charge if the battery is completely drained.

Welcome, Jay. Here's your first tip: buy more batteries and back up tanks and juices and coils and at least one more charger in case the one you have stops working. Back ups, back ups, back ups, and back ups of your back ups. You'll never be sorry you have them -- especially when you need them the most.

Aaawwww, you guys are gonna make me cry! Thanks for all the kind words, it's been fun spending your money. Wow. I can't believe it's been TWO WHOLE YEARS!!! The longest I ever got off the analogs before e-cigs was around six months -- and you really didn't want to be anywhere near me during that time. *giggles* I was a major witch. <-- I think I misspelled that. Troy? Please tell Karen I plan to collect on the hugs in person on the 24th. She is coming, right?

Juices strong in citric acid, cinnamon and/or menthol have been known to crack plastic tanks. Mojito, a flavor I love, cracked plastic tanks after it turned the tank a milky color due to high citric content. Wonder if that's what happened with your tank? In any case I vote for blueberry with a good bit of peppermint. Mmmmm

Two years ago on May 10th I picked up my first e-cig after seeing a co-worker with one and asking a ton of questions. Went to my local B&M and got an eGo-C upgrade pass through with a CE4 tank and a bottle of 24 mg orange cream and two other flavors I don't even remember now. Still continued to smoke while I got used to the set up. Five days later on May 15th I put down the cigarettes and went to vaping full time. There were six unopened packs of smokes in my fridge that I kept for a year just in case before I finally got rid of all but one. That one is still there to remind me that I don't want them anymore. Since then I've tried smoking a few times because I couldn't believe I wouldn't go back -- just to find them foul tasting. I'd have to go brush my teeth (several times) and take a shower to get the smell of smoke off of me. My health has gotten better with vaping. I feel so much better. And I'm much happier because I finally got off the cigarettes that had me hooked for the better part of 38 years. About six months in I found this wonderful forum that helped me spend even more money. In turn I've helped others spend even more. All joking aside I've found some very special people here I'm proud to call friends. They've supported me, answered my questions, made me laugh even when I didn't want to. It's been a great ride so far. Thank you all for sharing it with me.

I don't know about the patience part, Ma, but I do try to plan ahead.

Personally, I prefer to get juice "fresh" so I can steep it myself. Some juices are good after steeping just a week but get a bitter taste if steeped longer. If it's presteeped...who knows how old the juice really is? No thanks.

The V stands for Vols, right, B?

Ditto. I have the Kanger Pro Tank 3 that takes dual coil and I found I prefer to use the single coil in it instead. You've gotten a lot of very good advice and links to some of our most popular vendors. Compenstine at Fadora will blow your socks off with his tasty juices and great customer service as will Brian at The Veteran Vaper.
