  1. Other than my FLaN with double extra sweet, I've never had any issues with EC Blends' juices being hard on coils. What are you ordering from them, Troy???
  2. I'm sorry, and I don't mean to be mean, but if you're that disorganized I worry about your safety when you start building your own coils. Building your own coils, especially if you're going to sub-ohm, means you pay attention to even the smallest details. The first thing you need to buy, even before you get the mod and cloudchasing kit, is a dedicated ohm meter. Then, you need to be sure you fully understand how to use it and what it means. After you get that down, then I would buy the rest of the kit. Just my two cents but it's worth much, much more when you consider the safety factor.
  3. Glad you're all safe and sound. 'Night, Josh.
  4. I'd pay to see that! When I've flown, as long as your juices are all inside the 1 quart ziplock baggie with all the other liquids, it's all good. The TSAs at the Colorado Springs, Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Francisco and Salt Lake City airports were all good with it. This is the time that dripping made things easiest. All I had to do was to take out a bottle of juice and the rest was ready to go.
  5. If it were me I'd go with the basic blueberry or strawberry from somewhere like Vape Dudes. With Fadora I would suggest getting something in his Signature line like Mellow Spice, Cinnamon Stick, Spiced Apple or Apple Cider. Those are amazing! The Homemade Canned Peaches is a thing of epic proportions, imo. The caramel cappuccino from EC Blends will probably need a week or so to steep so the creamy caramel flavor can truly come out. Nothing wrong with plug and play. Many of us have tried all the fancy stuff just to come back to the basics and find that those are "better" after all.
  6. For me, one of the reasons why I don't go with more VG (vegetable glycerine) is because when the VG level goes higher than 70, the juice starts to taste like I'm sucking on a glycerine bar. VG does have a flavor however subtle. 50/50 or 60/40 is more than enough vapor for my needs, it's sometimes too much. 100% VG will clog up your atomizers pretty quick, it's going to be thick juice so it won't wick as well. When it doesn't wick as well that means you're going to get dry hits when you take a draw. Those are harsh and very not pleasant. Bleh. If you're set on going 100% VG then you'll want to get into RDAs (rebuildable dripping atomizers). For this, you'll need a good working knowledge of Ohm's Law, a torch, A-1 Kanthal wire, organic untreated cotton balls (or whatever you want to use for wicking material), needle nosed pliers, and most importantly: an ohm meter and the knowledge of how to use it. That's my two cents anyway. Others may have differing opinions. He's using an MT3, Josh. 100% VG wouldn't be a good fit for that one. Oops. Never mind. I misread "with" as "what." I think I need more coffee and a timeout with Ma.
  7. Fadora Vapors and EC Blends and Vape Dudes all allow you do choose how much PG/VG you want in your juice. Those are my top three -- in that order.
  8. Interesting. Just ordered two bottles of Kirk's body wash. Can't wait to try it.
  9. Thanks. We have Krogers/King Soopers (same company) and a Wal-Mart too. Will look for it next time. I need all the help with the dry skin department that I can get.
  10. Toothpaste helps draw out the excess oil. The white pasty ones work best. For scars, use Scar Zone. It won't work quickly but it does work -- usually takes about a month's worth of constant use unless the scar is really dark or big.
  11. Discount Vapers is one of my frequent vendors. I usually spend no less than $50 every time I shop there and can go up to a couple hundred on occasion. Fadora Vapors is another (great juice, better customer service!) and The Veteran Vaper (another place with excellent customer service) are my top three vendors. If my word means anything, Fadora and The Veteran Vaper are very highly recommended, and anyone who followed my recommendation and has done business with these two have never had a problem, only rave reviews.
  12. When I over tighten the coil to base it reduces/restricts air flow for me.
  13. Just finger tighten, don't over do it! If you do, that can also cause it to leak.
  14. You'll want the mini version of the KPT2 in order to get the same profile as the Spinner in a 900 mAh. The 1300 mAh batteries are a little wider around but not so much as to make a difference. You won't need a beauty ring for the mini but will for the regular sized KPT2 or KPT3. You can get a 5-pack of MT3 coils in 1.8 ohm from Discount Vapers for $5.96. I use them regularly for coils and other hardware. http://www.discountvapers.com/kanger-t3s-mt3s-coil-replacement-5-pack-1-8ohms-1/
  15. Me, too! I'm back on FLaN. Mmmmm
  16. More VG = more vapor, slightly sweeter juice, thicker juice that doesn't wick as well, less throat hit More PG = more throat hit, less vapor, thinner juice In a tank using standard store-bought coils I wouldn't go higher than 70 VG. More than that and you'll get dry hits and your coils will gunk up faster = replacing coils more often. There is no "smoke", it's vapor. Fuzion's juices are "no PG added." That distinction is important. There is PG in their flavoring but they don't add any more PG to the juice so it's not 100% VG.
  17. Bcarter gave you some very good advice and recommendations. I'm just over the two year vaping mark and even though price isn't an issue for me, either, and I have mech mods and APVs, the batteries that are my main go-tos are the Vision Spinner. Between the 900 mAh and 1300 mAh, I have around nine of them that get a constant work-out. I've had to replace three of them but they were well over a year old and they served me well. You said that your juice is 20 PG/80 VG. This is one of the main reasons why you're not getting much vapor. Most of my juices are at 50/50 with a Kanger Pro Tank 2 (KPT2), Anyvape Davide (almost identical to the KPT2 but imo performs better with better flavor), and the Davide mini. They all use the same coil. I also have a KPT3 dual coil but use the single coil in it. For this tank the dual coil is over rated and more expensive. The single coils work better for me at 1.8 ohms. At 50/50 ratio I get so much vapor I sometimes have to open a window and turn on a fan to air out a bit with my set up. With a 1.8 ohm coil, depending on the flavor of juice, I usually run right at 4.0 volts give or take. Fadora and EC Blends has most of my juice business as they're consistently good -- for me. I've yet to meet anyone who hasn't loved Compenstine's juices at Fadora.
  18. Just like my Evic. It's pretty and makes a great paperweight. As an APV? Not so much. :/
