  1. Forget baby powder, I got a keg of gun powder! Bring it, 3Rutez.
  2. Pssst! You have two #3s in your post. Also, I like the first look better with the semi-bulleted list. Makes it easier to take in instead of the wall o'text. Great points, though!
  3. Yes, the KPT2 mini will work with the Vision Spinner 2. The Vision Spinner and Spinner 2 both have the 510 connection as well as the eGo threading so they'll work.
  4. Yes, we are. Thank you for noticing. Lol Honestly, you guys are too funny. I've been laughing as I read your posts. Great way to get the warnings in there and how serious the repercussions could be while having a good time with it.
  5. Spiced apple from Fadora's Signature line.
  6. Vaping darker, sweeter juices will gunk up a coil faster than vaping lighter, less sweet juices. Also, more VG content in your juice will gunk the coils up faster. What's the PG/VG content in your juice?
  7. What is the PG/VG ratio of your juice? A higher PG content will increase throat hit. Keep in mind that it's the VG that produces vapor so going higher in PG and lower in VG will affect how much vapor you get.
  8. Yeah, a lot of us have the same obsession, and we're pretty happy with it. No mini Nautilus. Yet. I'm waiting for that, though.
  9. If you're going to be rebuilding your own coils, the very first thing you need to buy before you buy the kanthal and wick, is an ohm meter if you don't already have one. The ohm meters dedicated specifically to check coils is much easier to use and you don't need as many hands to hold everything like you would with a traditional ohm meter. Then, there's the kanthal, some organic untreated cotton (or whatever you want to use as wicking material), a Butane torch, extra Butane, needle nose pliers, tweezers, and if your eyes are like mine, you may need to invest in a self lighted magnifier that attaches to a table top so you can see what you're doing. Rebuilding coils may see extremely cheap but there are the start up costs and you also need to know what you're doing. At $2 a pre-made stock coil that is plug and play, it's cheaper and easier to just buy extra coils while you're learning all the other things about vaping. Just my opinion.
  10. I love my Kamry K100, it works very well, but my Magneto knocks my socks off in performance. The push button on the bottom doesn't have a spring like the K100 so it's much easier to fire and use. If you're going with a mech, you might check out the Magneto. It's a little more expensive (not by much), and the cost is more than worth it, imo. I got mine from Fadora. http://www.fadoravapor.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=34_35&products_id=55 You'll need to get batteries, a charger and the tank/coils too. The batteries that came with my K100 kit were, at best, okay. You'll definitely want to get better batteries for it anyway. The charger that comes in the kit? Junk. I wouldn't feel safe using the thing very often so you'd have to replace that, too. By the time you finish replacing everything you'll need, the Magneto would run you about the same but offer a better vaping experience. And those are just my two cents.
  11. Taste is extremely subjective. What tastes great to one person will taste like dirty socks to another. There have been lots of threads already done about favorite juices. Do a search for it. Scroll up. See that magnifying glass? Click on that and type in "favorite juice" or something like that and you should get lots of different threads. Also, check out the "Watcha vaping?" thread. The comments there should help a lot.
  12. All juices were in the one quart ziplock baggie with the rest of the liquids. The batteries were in a separate eGo carrying case. The TSA didn't blink an eye in any of the airports I've been through.
  13. I second Bebop's recommendation. The kit he's talking about is a solid one that you won't regret buying for your first set up. The one that you linked to is a bit...inferior, especially the CE5. Those are your basic use it for a week and throw it out, even if you can change the bottom coil on it. Believe me. When these first came out it was the best thing we could get and they were still junk. Now, there are better alternatives like the Evod tank. You'll save yourself money in the long run, imo.
  14. My personal preference is the Anyvape Davide or the Davide mini but they changed how they made them so I'd go with a Kanger Pro Tank 2 or a Pro Tank 2 mini. Those take single coils and perform very well. The tanks are made of glass so you'll want to be careful not to break it, but with glass tanks you never need to worry about what kinds of juice you're using. Some juices high in citrus, cinnamon and/or menthol can crack plastic tanks. With the KPT2 or the mini version I'd go with my personal favorite, the 1.8 ohm coil.
  15. I'm glad you're listening and stopped long enough to let it sink in, to think about it before jumping off at the deep end. Thank you for that. APV (Advanced Personal Vaporizers) like the Vamo 5 allow you to set voltage and/or wattage. Mechanical mods are set voltage (usually around 3.7 volts) unless you add a kick to it. I have a couple of APVs and a couple of mechanical mods. My go-to everyday set up is a Vision Spinner (both 900 mAh and 1300 mAh). These are variable voltage batteries and super work horses. I prefer these to anything more expensive. My Evic is an overpriced paper weight (these cost a little over $100). My Spinners work better than it does. For a mechanical mod I would have to say that my gold Magneto rocks my socks off. Add a Kanger Pro Tank 2 with single coils at 1.8 ohm, some 50/50 juice and I get loads of clouds.
  16. In my personal opinion, 70 VG/30 PG is a little more on the thicker side than I like. I find that if there's too much VG, it tastes like I'm sucking on a glycerine bar. Bleh. But that's just me. Everyone tastes things differently, it might work for you. I prefer 50/50, pushing it would be 60/40 but no more than that. 70/30 gunks up my coils too fast, imo. Even with 50/50, I get lots of clouds. 100% VG is more for RDAs when you learn enough to build your own coils safely. It sounds like you're not quite there yet.
  17. I use stock coils and get great vapor. It's all in the juice ratios, imo. The people in the videos could be using juice with a higher PG ratio, it could be a whole number of things, actually.
  18. Compenstine, owner of Fadora Vapors, will be rebuilding Kanger Pro Tank coils -- eventually. He's not quite ready to roll them out for sale just yet. Don't worry about getting into more advanced stuff too fast. There's nothing wrong with taking it slow and learning everything you can. Take it at your own pace and just enjoy the ride.
  19. With a Kanger Pro Tank 2, 1.8 ohm single coil, a Vision Spinner variable voltage battery, some e-liquid in a 50/50 ratio and I can hit huge clouds. Doesn't take anything fancy, it's mostly in the juice and the ratio of PG/VG that will do it. No loss in flavor, either.
  20. First off, you don't unwind the coil from the silica wick. The wick should just slip out once you give it a tug. Then, you thread the cotton through the coil. You never want to unwind/build a coil without checking it on an ohm meter immediately afterwords to see if there's a short and what resistance it's at first.
  21. Hey, I think I found a couple that you lost...
  22. Not one friggin' clue how much juice I go through. Between direct dripping and the five or six different tanks of flavors I switch off to...have no idea how much juice is getting vaped.
  23. Yes. They're the regular single coils that Kanger Pro Tanks use.
  24. Six more custom HH.357, 2.0 ohm, standard, matte black from Avid Vaper. Woo hoo! Yes, the juice I vape is very hard on them so they don't last very long. Otherwise, they'd last nearly a year or more. Hush.
