Welcome to VT!

I use the single coils in my KPT3, they seem to work better for me than the dual coils did at half the price.

iclear 30 and itaste MVP connection problem
Tam replied to Meganrenee's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Have you tried a different tank with the MVP? It might just be the iclear tank that's not working on it. -
Taste is so subjective. What tastes good to one person will be vile to another. To me, no matter how long I steeped their juices -- it all tasted like dirty socks. Lol. I really wanted to like their flavors because they had such great customer service. It just wasn't meant to be.

You might try reading through the e-liquid reviews section of VT to see if there's anything you would be interested in trying. Usually, the best place to start is some of the vendors you see repeated often in the comments. Taste is so subjective that it's hard to recommend any flavor to someone else. It could taste great to 50 people but you might think it's vile. Mt. Baker Vapor has great customer service and very reasonable prices. I bought quite a few juices from them...and couldn't stand the taste of any of them. It's just me, I'm sure their juices are good, and I've seen quite a few members who love their flavors. It's just not for me. The Vapor Talk Store has a sample package at a very reasonable price. You might try that to see if you like any of those.

Tastes Great in the Store - But not at Home
Tam replied to CloudMaker's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
The juices you taste in the store are most likely have no nicotine in them. Adding nic almost always makes them have a "harsher" flavor. The perfumy taste usually goes away with some steeping with the cap off (make sure you put the open bottle somewhere kids and pets can't get to it). A week or more while shaking daily usually takes away that perfumy taste. -
Aspire Nautilus is leaking more than usual...
Tam replied to Roxabox's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
Without being able to see it to troubleshoot I'm working blind but it could be that while you were cleaning the Nautilus the O-ring might've slipped off or was damaged thus not keeping the seal tight and allowing liquid to seep through. -
Happy Father's Day to all the dads on VT! Anyone can be a "father" but it takes a very special man to be a "dad". Keep up the good work guys!

Nah, that's not boredom, that's intense concentration. She's really something else to be able to cover the likes of Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai and Eddie Van Halen like that. I'm impressed!

Wow, what talent! Thanks for the share, it put a big smile on my face.

I thought we had ADOS. Attention Deficit...Oooooh, Shiny!

Hmmm. I do have a different charger that's not a Joyetech. Will give that a try next charge. Thanks for the heads up, Bebop.

The K101 that he's using is a fixed voltage device. It's firing at around 3.7 volts.
-
The two-step charging isn't a problem, just a minor inconvenience, but now that I know to look for it, I'll be more aware and make changes to how I charge the thing. I really like the extra battery capacity too. One thing that I need to get used to is the new button. It doesn't stick out as far as the 1300 button and is really smooth so it's easy to overlook when I'm feeling for it unless I'm paying attention.

With a fixed voltage (non-variable voltage) battery or mod I prefer to use 1.8 ohm coils like bcarter. The 1.5 ohm coils tend to run too hot for my preference. That's what I'm using in my KPT2 on a K100. You might also look into getting a simple variable voltage battery like the Vision Spinner or Vision Spinner v2 so you can control how much voltage your coils are getting. The settings go from 3.3v to 4.8v so you can lower the voltage for the 1.5 ohms. That should probably reduce the burnt taste you're getting.

I had just charged mine night before last and put it into the queue with the others to be put back into service so I hadn't bothered to fire it up. The first time I pushed the button I think I would've been surprised, too.

Sorry about that, Kelli. We tend to go off topic around here and your thread was its home this time. It's all in good fun, and look! You're now broken in. Join in the fun that is Vapor Talk.

Well, I'll be... Since I just recently got my V2 and discharged/recharged it for the first time I didn't notice, but after reading your post I checked and yes, the button glows blue. The charger had stopped when it changed from orange to blue without charging all the way. Hmmm. This is inconvenient not. Thanks for the heads up!

Did that. FOUR times. It's still there. Dang earworm.

Good to know I'm not the only one.

Now I can't get that stupid song out of my head.
