Here's a heads up for those of you who have missed the Vapor Talk store contests we've been running the past two nights now. The newest one starts in 2 1/2 hours (12 noon-ish Mountain time). Go to the Contest area of the forum for the clues. If you're not already "following" the Contest thread you might want to do that because we'll be running a new one every week from now on. The prizes will vary from week to week. Join in on the fun!

You can use KPT single coils in your Aerotank. That's what I do with mine. The KPT single coils are easy to get started with building coils. Go with around 1.5 to 1.8 ohms to start. Get some experience first and then grow from there. Make sure you have the right battery that can handle sub-ohms before venturing into that territory.

Airflow can affect how a juice tastes. :
-
A couple of questions. First, what did you use to measure the resistance of your coil? Second, what PG/VG ratio is your juice? The higher the VG = more vapor.

Good to know, Jeff. Now, did you see where I lost my drip tip?

Welcome to VT.

I wasn't questioning your data or results at all, Earthling. All I was trying to say (and saying it badly), is that there are so many customizations that we all make even with tanks of these sorts that it would be easy to keep doing these experiments in an endless array of variations. Um...did that make any sense? It did to me but I may not have explained it well.

Ha! Found it! ...I think.

Got in ten 510 atomizers from Brian at The Veteran Vaper yesterday but I was out of town until today. Thanks, Brian!

Kanger Mini Protank II not hitting well
Tam replied to rpb310's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
What kind of battery are you using? Is it fully charged? -
Interesting outcomes. And then you add in the subjective (I prefer the single coils in the Aerotank and Aerotank bases on the KPT2), and it blows all the data out of the water. LOL. Thanks for putting this up!

Me too. Lol. I tried to edit it and I can edit text but not the subject line as far as I could tell.

I'm inclined to agree. Once I changed back to a Joyetech charger I watched as the light turned green for a bit and then went back to red to show it was charging. After it did this, the button color changed to the next one up (say from orange to blue to white). The trick, I guess, is to check to see what color the button is to see if it's fully charged or not.

Hahahahahaha!

Welcome! I hope an ohm meter was also on your shopping list when you got the Russian 91%. Safety first. Always.

Where I Am and where I'm Headed
Tam replied to Joshuab3687's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
Was wondering where you were and where you were headed next just last night. Bet you can't wait to see your girls. Have a safe trip home. -
Watching the battery charge is like watching paint dry and about as exciting. But! As I was staring at the orange V button...it suddenly blinked and turned blue! And it only took two hours to do it. In all fairness I was using a charger for the Inferno (from Volcano ecigs) and just now changed it to a Joytech charger. Wonder if I stare hard enough the light might change to white quicker?
-
Aaah, so it's a female battery! You never know when she's going to change her mind about whether she's running on a full charge or not. Lol.
-
That's interesting. I charged mine this morning and saw the light was green too. But when I pressed the button, it glowed orange. I took it off the charger and later, when I pressed the button again it glowed blue so I'm guessing it was just getting through the different stage before it went to the next one. I've got it charging again. This is going to be a pain until I can get used to it.

Yep. Just like Bcarter said. They're the same single coil KPT coil you use in KPT and KPT2. The VT Store has them in different ohms.
