  1. I highly doubt it. Nicotine gives a little boost via awareness due to its stimulant properties but I don't want to even think about other additives being put into the juice otherwise. Guess it could happen but I'm highly skeptical.
  2. Good thing you had enough back ups to see you through!
  3. More of what you currently have. The Vision Spinner and Spinner II are both great work horses. The Nautilus tank with its vertical coil has a Pyrex tank so you'll want to be careful not to bump it or drop it. Replacement tanks are not available yet (as far as I know), so you might want to get another tank or three. Also pick up another couple of chargers and AC wall adapters.
  4. Congrats on your great start to vaping! You've got a solid set up that should last you quite some time but I'd still recommend you get a few more back ups -- just in case. Welcome to Vapor Talk!
  5. So sorry to hear you're having a run of losing stuff, especially vape stuff. Some people scoff at us when we go on and on about having back ups. And back ups of back ups. And back ups of back ups of back ups. For me, because I don't ever want to go back to analogs, there's no limit to the back ups I keep around. These days it's around 18 various eGo C, T, Twist, Vision Spinners I & II and various mods and APVs, all kinds of chargers and extra batteries with more tanks than I can count. You can never have too many back ups. Hope your new mod gets to you quickly.

  7. You might also try juices from a different vendor, not all juices are the same. Even though I vape 12 mg nic at 50/50, some vendor's juices feel harsher than others. Maybe adding an extra flavor shot might also be another option. If you like mint, a good, strong peppermint gives me a harsher throat hit -- so much so that I have to mix it with other flavors to bring it down a bit. Juices from the Vapor Talk store are all at a 70/30 blend. They have sampler packs at a reasonable price. You could also try EC Blends. They let you customize your juices in a lot of ways. Their 5 ml bottles start at $2.50 and go up as you add things to them. This is a good way to try juices to see what works for you without breaking the bank.
  8. Welcome to Vapor Talk, Nate. You sure started out with a bang! Throat hit comes from a variety of places. It could be your nicotine level, PG/VG level, the resistance of your coils, etc. More PG in your liquid (70PG/30VG or 80/20) produces a harsher throat hit. Add lower resistance coils in your tank (1.5 or 1.8 ohm) and higher voltage, and it could be what you're looking for. Just keep in mind that VG is the ingredient that produces vapor so if you're vaping a high PG juice, it might not produce as much vapor as you'd like. Also, with lower ohm coils and a higher voltage on your battery, it could give you a burnt taste. Start at the lowest setting, vape. If it's not quite there for you, increase the voltage and try again. Repeat until you get the slight burnt taste and then back it down a notch. That should be the sweet spot for your juice. Good luck!
  9. 1 White Vision Spinner II 14 5-packs of 1.8 ohm KPT short stemmed coils 1 5-pack 1.8 ohm Aspire Nautilus coils1 1 Aspire Nautilus Mini All from the Vapor Talk store. I couldn't get the bottom of the Nautilus mini to break loose but managed to get the entire bottom assembly off the tank part so I could clean and fill. Never thought it was possible but this tank is now going to replace my beloved (but very expensive) customer HH.357 Hybrid Cisco Spec atomizers. I think the tank performs even better.
  10. My Nautilus mini just came in today and it works just fine with the Vision Spinner II. The vapor production and flavor are amazing with this combination!

    Drip tips for KFL

Drip tips, like juices, are extremely subjective. Each will like something different. With RDAs and RBAs, many people prefer the wide bore types to get maximum airflow.

  13. Earthling gave some very good advice and recommendations. The following is not set in stone but a good guideline: More PG = thinner juice, more throat hit, more flavor More VG = thicker juice (read: will gunk up coils faster), more vapor, a somewhat smoother/slightly sweeter taste but doesn't carry flavor as well Higher nicotine content = more throat hit/harsher vape From everything I've read and heard about the new Aspire Nautilus mini and its vertical coil, this might be just what you're looking for to help with the vapor production along with the juice PG/VG ratio. I'd go with a 1.5 or 1.8 ohm coil and a variable voltage device like your eGo Twist or a Vision Spinner/Vision Spinner 2 so you can play with the voltage. I higher voltage might also produce more vapor. Just keep in mind that if you go too high, your juice may taste burnt. Start at the lowest setting, vape. If that's not doing it for you, turn it up a little, vape. Lather, rinse, repeat as necessary. Once you start tasting a burning flavor, dial it down a bit and that should be the sweet spot for that particular juice. Most fruit flavors need a lower voltage setting while many bakery flavors like it a little hotter. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  14. I'm not sure what it is that Chris uses for VT. Once in a while, though, things do get through. That's why he keeps us around.
  15. And I am the new admin who just banned you from the site and took off your spammy links.
  16. I've done the same thing, Earthling. After all this time I've tried so many different tanks. It's hard to remember what goes where and what takes what after awhile.
  17. I'm running a new contest for some Fadora juice in the contest area. Everyone (including new members) can play. Come on over and join the fun!
  18. We all learn different things every day. Here's another lesson. Atomizers and cartomizers (cartos) are different. Cartomizers are atomizers with a filler material inside. These are not made for direct dripping like an atomizer, which has no filler material inside so you drip juice directly onto the heating coil. The flavor difference between the two are amazing. With the carto, in my experience, you get a muted flavor. The atomizer gives you a more true flavor of the juice because it's not filtered before it gets heated.
