  1. Not positive but I don't think you can store nic for years without it degrading after a certain period of time. I may be mistaken but....
  2. Welcome to Vapor Talk. One suggestion is to change the flavor you're vaping periodically. If you vape only one flavor you lose the ability to taste it after awhile. If you don't have a different tank, I'd suggest you get some to keep different flavors in and change them out. After vaping a different flavor for a bit, when you go back to the original one, you should be able to taste it again. Also, vaping dehydrates you so you need to increase your water intake. That will also affect how well you taste your juice.
  3. Of the three 1300s I had that finally died, they all worked flawlessly for well over a year. That was some money well spent. When's the wake for yours?
  4. I have a 4-bay intellicharger and love it. It's never gotten hot while charging and I like that it tells me where in the charging cycle it is.
  5. I'm totally sold on the Nautilus mini and its vertical coils. The flavor I get rivals the HH.357 and I get even more vapor. Now, to see how long the coil lasts with the juice I use...
  6. To add to Bebop's post -- keep in mind that eBay is the easiest place to get knock offs. Not all sellers carry the genuine brands although they may claim to. Best to stick with reputable vendors instead.
  7. It could also be how you draw the vapor, it's not like when we smoke. You should take slow, long, easy pulls. Also, it could the the coil (not low enough resistance) that's causing some of the problems. If you're using a higher resistance coil like a 2.2 ohm or higher, your fixed voltage battery may not be able to heat the coil fast enough thereby causing the juice to get sucked in and not vaporized. What's the PG/VG ratio of your juice? The more VG, the more vapor. Too much VG in your set up will gunk up your coils faster, though. I wouldn't go any higher than a 30PG/70VG blend.
  8. Make another post (answer this one), and you should be able to post in other threads.
  9. An exceptional talent has passed. I remember watching Mork and Mindy too... and laughing until my sides hurt.
  10. While the eGo Twist is a great battery, it's hard to see what setting you're at unless you have adequate light, squint, turn it just so... at least that's how it is for me. Once I got a Spinner I was hooked. These days I easily have more than 10 of them (lost count some time ago), in 900, 1300 and 1600 mAh. Despite the various mechanical mods and APVs I now own, the Spinner II is my go-to battery. It's a work horse, dependable, easy to see the voltage settings, and just an all around great device. YMMV.
  11. It would, but the first link would require you to buy batteries and charger on top of the APV. After all the mods and APVs I own, my go to device is the Vision Spinner II. It's a great workhorse and many on this forum swear by them even though they have experience with other things. I would prefer not to spend so much when something less costly works just as well or better. Just my two cents.
  12. The first 6 - 8 months I was trying everything and anything. There were quite a few I liked and still do, but couldn't find "the one" until one day it landed in my lap as a free sample from one of the vendors I was buying from. After nearly two years of this flavor and I still love it and buy it by 125 ml bottles. Even with this, I still try new flavors and switch off with about three or four different ones throughout the day. You'll find yours, but it's through trial and error. Keep the juices you're not so fond of now and go back to them from time to time. With steeping (letting it sit in a dark, cool place away from kids and pets), you might be pleasantly surprised. My favorite takes about a month before it gets where I want it so I reorder with that time in mind so I don't run out.
  13. All the advice you've gotten so far is spot on. With that, I would add getting a variable voltage battery like the Vision Spinner II and the Aspire Nautilus mini with 1.6 or 1.8 ohm coils (the Vapor Talk store has the lowest prices on these that I've seen online). The variable voltage plus the vertical coil on the Nautilus gives me vapor that's comparable to my RDA and mechanical mod without the fuss and added work, extra knowledge of Ohm's Law, extra equipment and supplies.
  14. If you're going to cut the juice, I'd order it with extra flavor so it doesn't get muted so much.
  15. The Vapor Room runs weekend sales at a very deep discount as well as some select juices during the week. There are four different flavors each week, 30 ml for $10. The "weekender" juice is $7 for 15 ml but goes down to $5 on the weekend. Plus, as a new customer you get a free 15 ml bottle of juice on your first order. Just write in the flavor, nic, PG/VG preference in the comment box.
  16. Do you have tanks that use KPT single coils? If so, then you just need some Kanthal and try rebuilding those. That will give you a half-way point and might keep you amused for a while before you get into the rest.
  17. Adding to Jeff's question -- do you currently vape? And if you do, how long have you been vaping?
  18. Ha! Comp? We have a new convert to your juices, bud.
  19. That's too bad the bottom is plastic -- a deal breaker for me since many of the juices I vape are tank crackers. They should eventually come out with a Pyrex version and when they do...
  20. It's the people on the forum that makes Vapor Talk great. Welcome to the mad house.
  21. It would need to be even smaller gauge wire so that it fits into the KPT dual coil, not even an RDA or RBA or RTA.
  22. Well, all I know is that I was told to use 1560387846012 amps for the bestest, safestest battery. That's all I use in my mods. *ducks and covers*
