  1. In order to help you with your request, a little more information will be needed. What resistance is your coil? What mod are you using? Are you using it in wattage, voltage, temperature control mode? What power setting do you have it at? What is the PG/VG ratio of your eliquid? What flavor is it? Any and all of these questions factor in why your lungs hurt when you vape with this tank.
  2. Congrats! In no time at all you'll be making your one year post.
  3. I'm no doctor either, so I tend to listen when they say it "could" be something and then wait to hear what the test results are. In May I'll have been vaping for six years and never had a reaction like what you describe. As a matter of fact, I can't recall hearing any other members here say they've had the same symptoms. Might get back to your doctor and ask more questions on your condition?
  4. Since I was on the Discount website I wound up buying more 1.8 ohm coils for my Triton V2s. *sighs* Didn't mean to spend any money today... best intentions just went south. I blame YOU!
  5. Looks like Discount Vapers also has them in stock http://www.discountvapers.com/aspire-triton-tank/ Of the two vendors I prefer this one better. In the past I've done hundreds of dollars worth of business with Discount.
  6. I have one Triton 1 and about 4 (if I remember correctly without going to check), RBA kits that I haven't opened or checked. Feh. Shows what happens when I assume the kits will fit both versions without having to worry that they're only compatible to one. Ugh. Looks like vaping.com still has the version 1 https://vaping.com/triton
  7. Sorry, saw this after I wrote the reply above. Still want to know about the airflow adjuster. The V2, they took the top one out. The V1, there are two airflow adjusters, one on top and one on bottom.
  8. Haven't had enough coffee to kick start the brain so bear with me. On the plastic box that the Triton tank came in, does is say Triton 2? Is there an airflow adjuster on the top just under the drip tip/mouthpiece?
  9. So you got the V1 Triton and the rebuildable coils don't fit?
  10. When you say you "prime" every 5 pulls, exactly what are you doing to prime your coil?
  11. Did you know that more PG there is in an eliquid, the harsher it is on your throat to vape? The 50/50 shouldn't be too bad, and with that much PG in your juice (the 50/50 added to 75/25), that should make the eliquid pretty thin so your coil should be wicking it just fine with no real dry hits to speak of. The flavor of the bubble gum could be a little on the harsher side... depending. I'd go with some thing smoother like vanilla or some kind of bakery flavor with a cream/milk/ice cream/bavarian cream to ease the vape. Drink more water. The dry mouth will ease once you're hydrated sufficiently. Instead of using Biotine, I'd just go brush my tongue -- gently. Then, drink more water.
  12. What flavor are you vaping? Also, what's the PG/VG ratio? Like @Walt said, the bad taste could also be coming from the fact that you have a bad cold, have vaper's tongue, and bad taste buds. Make sure you're drinking lots of water (not soda/pop, coffee, tea or juice -- just water). Vaping dehydrates you and the "vaper's tongue" you mentioned is basically dehydration.
  13. Please let me know how you do with those. I've got several but never used them since I've been able to get the premade coils.
  14. You get something like this for the Triton tank you already have: http://www.myvaporstore.com/Aspire-Triton-RTA-System-p/ap-trt60.htm
  15. Where did you buy your equipment? If you bought it at a brick and mortar store, you might take it back to them for help. If you bought it online, contact the vendor. In any case, until or unless someone else has an answer for you, which they would post their comments here, please refrain from posting about this same issue multiple times. Thank you.
  16. Change the coil on your TFV8. Your mod is telling you that the resistance is too high in the coil that's currently inside the tank.
  17. With the airflow wide open it's much looser than a Nautilus, imo. Just a little tight for direct lung but plenty loose for a MTL device. I usually have it set at 3/4 open and that works for me.
  18. Hopefully, you found a Triton V2 and not the first version. I wound up giving the first one to @Earthling789 because I couldn't get it to work right. The second version fixed the problem so well that I stocked up on them for when they were no longer available (I might've gotten a little carried away as I now have 15 but have four going in rotation).
  19. When KPT 2 and 3 were popular, they came out with a variable airflow bottom that you could buy to help out. Basically, it turned the KPT into an Aerotank.
  20. If you're looking for a tank that takes 1.5 ohm coils or higher, if you can find them, the Kanger Pro Tank 3 or 4, the Aerotank V2, or my personal favorite is the Aspire Triton V2 take those coils.
  21. That's my motto: Get a back up. Then, get a back up of your back up. After that, get a back up of your back up, back up. You can never have too many. Ever. At one point I went through four back ups for various reasons before getting one that worked at the time. Boy, was I ever glad that I had them to go to. I know it doesn't help you now, but as soon as you can, get some back ups, they don't have to be fancy, even pen style batteries are good in a pinch.
  22. Based on the information you've given so far... how long has it been since you changed your coil? It doesn't sound like it's the mod so much as your heating element. Try putting in a new coil, wait for it to saturate with eliquid (at least a few minutes), then lower the power on your mod if it's in watts, and vape. After a few draws, if it's not what you want, turn it up a few and vape again. Repeat until you get the flavor and vapor you desire keeping in mind that you're using a new coil and it needs a little time to fully break in. With any new coil, I try not to blast it with the same power the old coil was at just in case the resistance isn't the same.
