  1. It could be the way you're vaping. Try taking a shallow draw into your mouth, hold it just a bare second before inhaling. Vaping, while similar to smoking, is a little different. You just need to readjust how you're doing it. Once you get used to it, you can readjust the way you vape to suit yourself.
  2. I have to agree with Bebop. There are no tanks with premade coils that are going to give you HUGE clouds like an RDA and sub-ohm coils. That said, get yourself a Nautilus or a Nautilus mini with the vertical coils in either 1.5 or 1.8 ohm. Add some high VG juice and you should be able to put out some vapor. My Nautilus mini with 1.8 ohm vertical coil and 50/50 juice puts out more vapor than I usually want. There have been times when I had to turn on a fan and open the window -- it got a little dense in the room. YMMV.
  3. There was an evil doctor on the short lived series Alcatraz that was vaping on a cig-alike.
  4. Glad to hear it was resolved for you. I just got word and was about to contact you when I saw this post.
  5. Also, if you want, you can call the store direct: 732-253-7360 Might give that a try.
  6. The Vapor Talk store's customer service is excellent, so even if you wind up with the coils, they'll make it right.
  7. I'm trying to contact a few people for you now. Hopefully, we'll get this resolved soon.
  8. The Vapor Talk store doesn't carry the replacement coils for the BCC Mega tanks. These coils are just push in, there are no threads to screw in like what's on the Pro Tank coils so...no, the Pro Tank coils you bought won't work. Have you received an answer from the VT store yet? If you don't hear from them in just a few more hours, let me know and I'll see what I can do to get a hold of someone for you. Oh, and just an FYI. When you typed in BCC coils? The BCC stands for Bottom Coil Clearomizer. The Kanger Pro Tank is a bottom coil clearomizer, which is why those coils came up. If you had typed in BCC Mega, nothing would have come up in your search. In the beginning, it is a little confusing. Hang in there, it does get better. You can also check on the forum and we'll be happy to help you get the right parts before you order next time.

    Help

The Evod is a good battery. Many times, the juice you try in a store will have 0 nic. The juice you have 1.8% (18 mg), will give you a harsher throat hit. Also, like Earthling said, the resistance of your coil will make a difference in how harsh the juice feels on your throat. The next time you go to the store, use your battery when you're trying the juice. Get the exact same clearomizer they're using so that you can duplicate what you tried. Might be something to consider.
  10. The difference from all the other ways to help quit smoking is the one thing that helped me stay off analogs: vaping is not an all or nothing thing. With the patch, gum, lozenges, cold turkey... you have to do one and cannot do both. With vaping, the pressure was off. If I really wanted a cigarette, I could smoke one then go back to the e-cig after. It was knowing I didn't have to choose that helped take the stress and pressure off. That's how I was able to succeed. You'll find your balance soon-ish. In the mean time, take your time and don't stress about it. Let it come around when it does. You can do it.
  11. When I first started I used 24 mg nic in my juice even though I smoked Marlboro Lights (around 12 mg). That got me through the first part in letting go of the smoking habit. Don't be so hard on yourself. Smoke when you need to, vape at other times. It will get better as time goes on. Hang in there.

    Help

You've got a good battery and clearomizer to start off with, the juice burning is probably your juice. What mg of nicotine do you have? What's the PG/VG ratio? The higher the nic content, the harsher the throat hit. More PG in your juice = harsher throat hit. I prefer a 50 PG/ 50 VG ratio personally.
  13. Did you let it air dry for a few days after? I would set it vertically upside down and let it air dry first. See if that helps. Bcarter has dropped several in a lake and he says they still work after drying them out. Just a thought.

Do you know what kind of clearomizer it is? If not, can you take a picture so we can see it? That way we can give you more detailed information on it.
  15. That was...disturbing on so many different levels. Satire or not.
  16. And you have no need to use a can of air freshener after.
  17. I second what Bcarter said about what Earthling said. I'd never stack batteries. Why take the chance when you can buy 18650s for a very affordable price? I love my Sonys and Panasonic batteries. My Panasonic 18650 is a 3400 mAh and lasts...forever it seems.
  18. The dual coils are...okay, in my opinion. I prefer the single coils personally, and use them in my KPT3 and Aerotanks instead. Much cheaper and not a whole lot of difference performance and flavor-wise -- for me.
  19. Ah, the dual coils. Gotcha. For the KPT3 and KPT3 minis. http://www.sun-vapers.com/buy/kanger-dual-coil-atomizer-heads-enclosed-wick/
  20. Can you give us a link to the new coil so we can see?
  21. Personally, I prefer function and reliability over aesthetics.
  22. Could be that, after your first time smelling something burning, you've now got it in your nose, which is why you're still smelling it even if there's nothing there. Might go take a whiff of some coffee grounds to get the smell out? Or, you could have a case of phantosmia... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantosmia I had that for about three months and swore my power supply in my tower was fried. Switched out four before I realized it was just me. Lol.
