  1. Are you going to try to just rewick or rebuild the dual coils? Isn't it supposed to rain in your area tomorrow?
  2. Good to know, Comp. Thanks. I'm looking forward to trying these out myself. Haven't used a plastic tank in well over a year.
  3. Go Comp! If you...you know...need someone to test it out for you...
  4. Her tank is a 16D, does that make a difference, Comp? In looking at the dual coil, it seems like it'd be a major pain to rewick, if you can do it at all without ruining the thing.
  5. What Earthling said except I would be very careful about putting a plastic tank into boiling water. Instead, I would just use hot water to clean. With you just starting to vape, rewicking a coil might not be something you feel comfortable doing. Starting with a dual coil (this is what your tank uses), I really wouldn't advise it at this point. Everyone's vaping experience is very subjective so you do what you feel comfortable with. We can suggest all kinds of things but it's up to you to decide what works best -- for you. If it were me, I'd just rinse the heck out of the tank, use a pipe cleaner or a very small bottle brush on the tank part. Rinse the coil, soak in vodka for a few hours, rinse well, let air dry overnight and reuse. You've got me curious about the iclear 16D so I just ordered a couple to try out.
  6. Have you noticed a difference in performance, Comp?
  7. Bcarter is indeed the Vols fan. A BIG Vols fan.
  8. Yep. Bcarter is a longtime forum member and I would personally vouch for him. He won't steer your wrong and that's a steal for all that stuff for such a low price.
  9. We just like seeing new vapers get away from analogs.
  10. From your picture, I'd bet that the battery you have is only a 650 mAh, which is why you'll need to charge it more often. If it's 1000 mAh, I'll eat my socks! Lol. I would highly recommend the Vapor Talk store right here, and I'm not saying that just because I'm an admin on the forum. The Vapor Talk store never sells any knock offs, they're all genuine brand name products that you can trust at the lowest prices I've seen online. The members on this forum can also back me up that the Vapor Talk store has excellent customer service. If something isn't right, they'll make sure that it's fixed and then some. Christopher, the founding member of this forum is amazing! When you get a little money ready to spend, I would highly recommend getting a Vision Spinner II (get two, one for a back up while the other is charging), a charger and AC adapter, a couple of Kanger Pro Tank 2 (the mini version if you want it to be about the same size around as your battery), and some replacement coils. I use 1.8 ohm coils but you'll figure out what works best for you. The KPT2 (Kanger Pro Tank) mini has a Pyrex glass tank. That means you can use any flavor juice in it without having to worry about what we call "tank crackers". Plastic tanks (like the one you have), have been known to crack when using juices high in citrus, cinnamon or mint/menthol. You can use any flavor without worry with a Pyrex glass tank. Just be sure not to drop it or bang it hard on anything because it is glass.

    New!

Lol. Okay, guys. Don't scare Crystalyn right off the bat. Wait for a while so she's truly hooked on our forum! You have to admit, when I do help you spend all your money, I haven't steered you wrong yet. Right? Oh, and welcome to Vapor Talk. Lots of nice, helpful people around here.
  12. With the tank you're using I would go with a 50/50 blend, personally. Any higher in VG and the wick can't absorb the juice fast enough and I tended to get dry hits, no flavor and went through coils like...whoa!
  13. If you don't want to go down in nic levels in your juice, why not keep track of how often you vape? You might try vaping a little less to see if the symptoms ease up? Also agree with what others have said that you might want to visit your doctor to see if it's not something else. Blood pressure rising is nothing to mess with.
  14. Sounds to me that you're getting too much nicotine. Try not vaping as often or you could lower the nic content of your juice. Getting jittery, dizzy, nauseous...those are the signs I watch out for when chain vaping. It tells me to either stop or get lower nic juices.
  15. My HH.357 at 2.0 ohms, a Vision Spinner or Spinner II and 50/50 juice will fog up my home office quite well, especially if I'm chain vaping.
  16. Aaaaah, no wonder I didn't recognize what that word meant.
  17. Yes, mouth to lung is the same as what I described in my post above. Take a draw into your mouth, hold a sec and then inhale. You might want a tank that has the coil at the top like a Vivi Nova. That will give you warmer vapor but also can give you dry hits if you aren't diligent about keeping the wick wet.
  18. Good for you, mkauthen! You're learning, kiddo.
  19. Just because you get the 24 doesn't mean you can only vape the 24 -- if you find that it's too much for you. It's also easy to mix equal parts of the 24 and 18 mg (if you buy the same flavor or something that tastes good mixed), to get around 20 mg or so. My preferred is 12 mg now, but I have juices that go from 0 nic to 24 and everything in between. What and how much I vape depends on my mood, the flavor and what kind of situation I'm going to be in. When in a high stress environment or at a time when I can't vape as much, I go with my 24. When relaxing at home I go with the 12 or sometimes down to 6 mg juice. It all depends. What I'm trying to say in my rambling is that you don't have to stick with just one all the time.
  20. I make time for family but...what is this "relax" thing you speak of? Hmmm? 'Splain, please.
  21. No, no, NOOOOO! Make comeback NOW!!!
  22. When I get to the orange color I've started to put them on a charger. Kind of defeats the purpose of the 1600 mAh since I'm not taking advantage of the full charge, though. *sighs*
