  1. Your smile at the end just made my day! Great vid. I hope to see more as you learn more and share with others just starting out.
  2. Your tax dollars hard at work...or was the hardly working? *sighs*
  3. Comp looks good in red. He really rocks it!
  4. We love the Fadora's flavors, but we love Comp more.
  5. For a buck more these Joyetech chargers work just as well. I have both and no problems with any of them. http://www.vaportalk.com/shop/joyetech-ecig-rapid-usb-charger/
  6. That reference to "them" would probably include me.
  7. Warning labels were on the box. Grannie just didn't read it first. You'd think the packaging, in this case was pretty clear, would've tipped her off but...
  8. There is also no "smoking", it's all vapor. Your statement should read: "...how you vape, too. Are you a direct...."
  9. Good for you that you researched so thoroughly before jumping in! May you have many happy, safe builds in your future.
  10. Local news has been going on about kids eating laundry detergent pods lately. A grandmother accidentally gave a gel pod to her granddaughter thinking it was a teething toy. Oops. The little one was okay, just not feeling well for a bit.
  11. In no particular order: Fadora Vapor (hardware but mostly juice) Vapor Talk store (mostly hardware, some juice) The Veteran Vaper (hardware) EC Blends (juice) Five Pawns (juice) Vape Dudes (juice) GotVapes (hardware) Mad Vapes (hardware) Discount Vapers (hardware) Most of my business these days is going to the VT store, Fadora and EC Blends for superb, high quality products and juices but mostly for excellent customer service!
  12. Feh. Looks like Chris is working on the VT store so I can't link to the charger. He does, however, have the key word links back so you'll see certain words underlined in our posts. Click on those (when the VT store is back online), and it'll take you to whatever it is that we're talking about -- like chargers.
  13. Glad to see that all of our recs are better than you hoped. Now you see what we were talking about? You're well on your way to becoming cigarette-free. Good luck!
  14. Very nice! I like how organized and easy to read everything is. I use a variation of that and got an acrylic nail polish organizer that hangs on the wall. The room it's in is not in direct sunlight and is usually pretty dark so I don't have to worry about light hitting the juice. Being able to see the labels easily is very handy!
  15. My vote goes for the light background with the dark text, but I would like the light background to be a light to medium gray instead of the white. The white "glare" coming from my monitor doesn't sit well with the eye strain on me. It wouldn't have to be much, just a little to take the mass of white out. Other than that, I like this format. There. That's my two cents without the added bonus of a massly caffeinated brain kicked into gear.
  16. You're using the word 'mod' but is that what you're really wanting? Do you want to get a mech mod with separate battery, battery charger, etc? Or do you want a newbie user-friendly battery and tank that'll get you started and keep you going while you learn all the basics to vaping? Since vaping doesn't include burning tobacco leaves, there's nothing that'll give you the same flavor. There are really good tobacco flavored e-liquids out there, it's just not going to taste like a cigarette.
  17. "Mods" are most commonly used for mechanical mods like the Kamry K100, the Magneto, Hades, iTaste 134, etc. These give off fixed voltage, usually 3.7v unless you put a kick in them so you can make them variable wattage. The other type is an APV or Advanced Personal Vaporizor. These have a small circuit board in them and are variable voltage/variable wattage like the iTaste VTR, SVD, Vamo, iTaste MVP, etc. The best mod..is the one that works best for you and what you want. Like everything else with vaping, it's all a matter of personal preference. It's subjective. What one person loves is going to work like crap to another and vice versa. That said, many on the forum love the MVP for an APV device. Going up in cost is the iTaste VTR. These are called box "mods" although they are APVs. It also depends on what you want to do with it. If you're planning to use tanks, I'd suggest an APV so you can control the voltage or wattage of the device. If you plan to get into RDAs or RBAs/RTAs, then you'll want to get a mechanical mod with a safe battery rated to handle the resistance of the coil you want to build and use. Despite having several mechanical mods, my go-to is a Magneto for the Magma RDA. What do you want the mod for? How new to vaping are you? What do you currently use? Your answers could help us better help you.
  18. It's okay as long as you don't plan to sub-ohm with it. For an every day battery for a tank, it should work just fine. Personally, if I'm using an APV with a tank, I like the Panasonic 1860 3400 mAh. In my mech mods and sub-ohm coils, I only use Sony VTC4 or VTC5. These can handle the draw that sub-ohm coils demand.
  19. Hey! What's Jeff doing in Kentucky???
  20. Hi Rob. Welcome to Vapor Talk. Here is a link with the answer to your question without having to do anything else.
  21. No EVOD batteries here, either. I mostly use the original Vision Spinners or Vision Spinner 2 (the purple is lovely). To top it off, when I use a tank, I have the Anyvape Davide mini (much like the KPTminis), but the original 2.5 ml ones that you can't get any more. I do have an Aspire Nautilus mini on one of the Vision Spinner 2 right now as well. I also use a VTR with an Anyvape Davide (full size) with an Aerotank air controller base, a Magneto with a Magma RDA, a Provari mini with a full-sized Kanger Pro tank with the Aerotank air controller base, and a... And I'm 5' 1" on a really good hair day.
