  1. They're both very good batteries, good work horses, even the version 2 despite the charging glitch. After that, it's just personal preference. I have lots of each but I prefer the version 1.
  2. Version 1 is a 1300 mAh and doesn't have a battery level indicator. Version 2 is a 1600 mAh, the power button has three different colored lights to let you know how much power you have left (roughly). Version 2 also has a tiny glitch in charging. You put it on and the button on the charger will go green to indicate it's fully charged -- only after a few minutes. You unscrew it, screw it back on and it goes through a thorough charging cycle the second time around.
  3. Yeah, I'm still looking for just the right wrap for my fingerprint magnet. Of course, after you get all kinds of finger prints all over it, you don't notice so much...
  4. Might try an eye glass repair shop. They would probably have screws in the size you need.
  5. When you cleaned it with a Q-tip, could the screw have gotten tangled in the cotton?
  6. LOL, Comp. I was wondering what the heck you were thinking when you wrote "start high and if it tastes burnt, turn it down..."
  7. Oh, go ahead and get the VTR. You'll love the ease of changing the battery. I use a Panasonic 18650 3400 mAh in mine and it lasts...forever.
  8. I really like the side button on the VTR so I was wondering how this one would work as far as being easy to use.
  9. So the fire button is in the middle/top of the wide side of the battery? How's that work for ease of use?
  10. With a variable voltage battery like the Spinner, I go with the lowest setting and vape. If it's not quite satisfying, then turn it up a bit and vape. Continue to do that until you start tasting a burnt taste. Back it down a bit and that should be the sweet spot for that juice and coil. I wouldn't suggest starting at 4.8v and working down. If you burn the wick at the beginning, everything will taste burnt after that no matter what voltage. With my Anyvape Davide mini (the original tanks) and a 1.8 ohm coil, depending on the juice I go with 3.8v to 4.0v. With a Custom Cisco Spec Hybrid HH.357 atomizer at 2.0 ohms I use 4.3v. Play with it and find out what works best for you.
  11. Best wishes to you, and I hope this is the start of a whole new "habit".
  12. Is there any reason why i can't keep a clearomizer stored with Juice in it for an extended period of time? Also if i am not using one of my batteries do i need to leave it off the clearomizer or can i leave them connected for a period of time while not using? I take off the clearomizer periodically and dab at the juice in the battery well. A few drops will accumulate there if not used for a while. Last question. My batteries (EVOD 650) doesn't seem to have an auto cutoff. If i forget to cut it off my pressing it 5x will it hurt it overnight? I assume the auto cutoff is mainly to keep it from accidentally being pressed in my pocket but i wanted to double check. You're confusing the term "auto cut off" with "shut off". Your battery does have an auto cut off. It's 10 seconds. When you take a deep draw that lasts more than 10 seconds, your battery will automatically cut off the power so it doesn't over heat. You'll see the light in the button flash three times (I think it's either 3 or 5). Pressing the button 5 times in a row will shut your battery off. I rarely turn my batteries off unless I'm storing them in such a way that the button might get pressed accidentally. YMMV.
  13. I had one do that once. Tried cleaning the connection end of the battery with a Q-tip and alcohol, pulled up the center pin a little, put it on a different charger and it went back to charging like "normal". Might give that a try?
  14. Jason's words are very wise... and he makes great recommendations too.
  15. All the drip tip holders I've found are pretty pricey and not what I'm wanting right now. The one I'd love is a custom made one by Mark but that's out of my price range at the moment.
  16. Take a look at Comp's first reply to your post. See all the words highlighted? Those are links that will take you to the Vapor Talk store to the item noted. The VT store offers only genuine brand name product, great customer service, and some of the best prices around the net. To add to Comp's info, you can also use the single coils in the Kanger Pro Tank 3. I have one and it takes the single coils just fine. The dual coils also cost more than a single so that may factor into your decision.
  17. When I was on the patch it was still new and only available in 24 mg of nic. According to the instructions I was supposed to keep it on for 24 hours before changing the patch for a new one. I was getting too much nic, which interfered with my REM sleep resulting in sleep deprivation. After nearly a month of not getting enough sleep I was not only lethargic but seriously cranky (read: road rage on steroids). It got worse before a friend asked me to take the patch off for awhile to see if that would make a difference. It did. But I also went back to smoking again.
  18. The lethargy could easily be explained by him not getting enough sleep due to thrashing around all night.
  19. Yeah, I got that, too, when I googled ECCR.
  20. Just got an email from the Vapor Talk store: Cyber monday starts now! Use the code: CYBERMONDAY and save 50% on Vapor Talk E-Liquid and VT Sampler Packs! 21. Just about everybody is having Cyber Monday sales. Some of the newsletters I've gotten recently are from Mad Vapes, Gotvapes.com, The Vapor Room -- these seem to have the best prices I've seen of all the emails I've gotten lately -- other than Fadora and the Vapor Talk store. Just got another newsletter from Texas Select. They're got DNA 30 for $119.99 on Monday only.
