Just a word of advice - keep some higher nic around just for those days when you need a little more. I have everything from 24 to 0, mostly 12 and some 6 mg but it's good to keep a variety around. Better that, than going back to analogs because you lowered your nic level too much and you need more but don't have it. YMMV.

And you only have to post a question ONCE, not multiple times, to get someone to reply.

Yeah, it seems I gave b-i-t-c-h a whole new and improved definition when I was without smokes.

Honey, does this tankful of PBFB make my butt look big?

When mixing juice you mix a little, vape. Mix a little, vape. After a while you get a little too much nic doing that. One of my constant juices I get from a local B&M but I have to doctor it to my tastes. I mix some in a bottle, direct drip for a taste... Since it's at a 24 mg nic, I can only do a little at a time before getting too much nicotine in my system and I have to stop for a bit. Also, direct dripping can give you more nic at a faster pace than vaping out of a tank. That's also why, when you go to an RDA, you want to drop the nic level of your juice. In my tanks I mostly use 12 mg nic. When I direct drip with an RDA I go down to 6 mg and get the same effect.

Oooooh, I can almost hear the "MMmmmmmmmmmmm" from here. Lol.

38 years. For the last ten I was trying everything I could to get off of them. The only thing that worked for any length of time was going cold turkey. That lasted about six months before I fell off the wagon. The next time I tried cold turkey again, my SO asked (very enthusiastically) if he could go to the store and get me a pack. Boy, talk about a foul mood... LOL. Nothing worked for long until I found a co-worker puffing on an e-cig one day. It's a miracle that I haven't wanted to go back to smoking.

I used to order LOTS from them until they screwed up a $75 order. Many people love them but I had a bad experience and didn't get what I would even consider to be "decent" customer service. So now I do not recommend them to anyone and take my money to other vendors who appreciate my business. Just my two cents.

If you go the RDA rebuilding route, then you'll most definitely need an accurate ohm meter to read the resistance of your coils. If you build sub-ohm coils, you will need a battery that can withstand the power draw so you can vape safely. We stress safety here. Make sure you're well versed on Ohm's Law, what it is and what it does. Without it, you can do serious injury to yourself or others should something go...boom!

Have you tried contacting the vendor where you bought the Knight mod in the first place? That would be the first place I'd go.

Everyone will get a different result. Some will like Fasttech and say they get great service, fast shipping. Others will have nothing but trouble with them. I'm one of the latter. So far every order I've made with them has taken weeks to get to me. I'm not talking about batteries, either. My last order was for plastic drip tips. After FOUR weeks, they finally emailed to tell me they couldn't get me the drip tips I ordered. It took even longer for them to get me a refund.

Childproof caps can slow down a child (depending on age), but it's not the magic bullet to making a bottle of e-liquid 100% safe for children. Parents need to be aware of safety issues and keep it in a safe place. Keeping an eye on their child would also be helpful. People who leave things like e-liquid in places where their kids can get to it need to be better educated on what's inside e-liquid and what it can do. All too often the vaping industry is going to be blamed before it gets better. If ever. *sighs*

For us former smokers, getting off the analogs makes a difference. We can taste things better and things taste so good!

I use Panasonic 18650 3400 mAh in my VTR. Like Earthling said, that thing lasts forever. Personally, I would only use the battery as is and wouldn't take the chance of something going wrong by trying to change a battery to make it fit.

Thanks for the additional warning. We do harp on safety first, and this kind of thing is exactly why. Glad you weren't hurt.

That's great! So, did you vapers convert and smokers?

feeling like juice is shooting to the back of your throat?
Tam replied to alykzandra's topic in New Vapers Forum
Yes, since the Atlantis fit on your battery, that means the Nautilus will too. The full sized Nautilus comes with.two dual coils. The mini version comes with two single coil vertical coils. At this point I would not suggest rinsing your Atlantis coil. Listen to the directions Compenstine gave you. Wrap some tissues or paper towels around the coil to draw excess juice out and go from there. Sorry, but I'm going to drop out of the conversation for now. I'm. On my tablet because my internet just flaked. Trying to type out anything on the tablet is... Less than ideal. -

These questions you're asking is why I would never try to recommend a sub-ohm tank like the Atlantis to a new vaper. A more experienced vaper will be able to troubleshoot problems that come up -- like the spitting. The battery you're using, does it have a removable battery or is it an internal battery that you charge with a USB cord? If it's a removable battery, what's the brand and mAH? Do you know the rating of the battery? For sub-ohming you must have a battery that can handle that kind of draw. If not, you're risking overheating the battery. This could cause the battery to get very hot at best. At worst, it could explode. Try what Comp is suggesting to see if that helps. He is a great source for accurate information. You might try an Aspire Nautilus with a 1.8 ohm vertical coil if you decide to replace the Atlantis. The Nautilus is similar but is more user friendly, much less likely to spit (I've never heard of anyone having this problem with them), and it should give you a fairly similar vapor and performance as the Atlantis if you use the vertical coil. -

Aaarrrrrrggggghhhh! That idiot clerk who sold you this tank should be shot. While the Atlantis is a good tank, it's not one I would recommend for a beginner. You need something that doesn't sub-ohm right out of the box. If I were to give you some advice, I'd tell you to take it back and see if you can get a refund. Then, with the refund, buy yourself a Vision Spinner (a simple but extremely dependable variable voltage battery), a charger, an AC adapter, and a Kanger Pro Tank mini with a 5-pack of 1.8 ohm single coils. That is a simple yet very dependable set up for someone who is new to vaping. You'll get a feel for how things work with something easy. This set up is like a bicycle you can learn on. The clerk just sold you a Harley Davidson full touring bike by comparison. -

First, it would be easier for us to give you recs if we knew what kind of Aspire tank you're using. Aspire is the company that makes tanks and they make quite a few. You can get more vapor with a higher VG juice, but without knowing what tank you're using, the coil resistance, etc. it's kind of hard going in blind. If nothing else, can you post some pictures so we have a better understanding of what you're using? -

The clerk is pulling your chain. Even using it on "high powered devices", your tank shouldn't be spitting juice back at you. Not any tank. My personal opinion? I think he just doesn't want to have to deal with it, doesn't know what's causing it, doesn't want to have to replace it or give you a refund... or all of the above. That's just my opinion and I realize I don't have all the facts, just from what you've written, this is what it sounds like to me. I could be wrong... -

No, it's not normal. If I were you I'd take it back to the store and have the clerks there troubleshoot it for you. It might even be how you're drawing on the tank so show them what's happening and give them as much info as you can so they can figure out what the problem is. -
Ha! You beat me to it. Both has my vote too.
