I use Kanger Pro Tank, Pro Tank 2, Pro Tank 3, Aerotank, Anyvape Davide, etc. on my mech mods when I'm not using an RDA. You just need to make sure to use either a 1.5 or 1.8 ohm coil in these to get performance. With a mechanical, you'll need to buy batteries and a separate battery charger.

I'm with you about staying out of movie theaters. Every time I've gone in the last ten years or so I've gotten sick from someone who tried to drown themselves in cheap cologne or perfume (I'm very allergic to scents and get sinus infections easily). Then, there are those who insist on talking through the entire movie and they must sit near me so I can hear everything they say. Also, the movie theaters in my area are bound and determined to make sure I need hearing aids after leaving their establishment. I much prefer to stay at home and have the convenience of watching it in comfort. -

Have you seen the newest Hobbit yet? I think it's called "The Battle of Five Armies" but I'm too lazy to look it up right now. -
Keep in mind that a VTR will only go up to 15 watts and you'll have to use the extender that comes with it to use the Nautilus (full sized) as the tank won't fit into the ring. You can fit a Nautilus mini without the extender but it takes contortionist movements to get it in and you have to put it in upside down, through the ring and then put the bottom part of the tank on, and then screw the thing into the VTR.

That "inhale feel" you're talking about is referred to as "throat hit" in the vaping world. While vaping will give you a similar sensation, it's not going to be exactly the same as inhaling on a real cigarette. The amount of vapor you get depends on several different factors. You can lessen the amount of vapor with your e-liquid ratios. Inside e-juice, you have the option (with most vendors), for how much nicotine, PG/VG ratios you want. Here is a rough breakdown for you, it's not exact but will give you an idea of what does what. higher nicotine = more throat hit If you smoke full flavored cigarettes, that's about the equivalent to 24 mg of nic. Lights are 12 mg, ultra lights are 6 mg. Keep in mind that when you start vaping, you're going to be getting off of a lot of things other than just nicotine. Many of us on the forum will recommend you start at around 24 mg of nic to get you through the cravings and withdrawal from the 4000+ carcinogens that your body got used to smoking cigarettes that you'll no longer get with vaping. You can work on lowering the nic level later when you're totally off the analogs. Here's an example: When I smoked, I used to go through a pack of Marlboro Lights per day. When I took up vaping I started with 24 mg of nic in my juice. That got me through and within a few months I got a few other lower nic juices and bounced around a bit. Even now, two and a half years later, I keep everything from 24 mg (when I can't vape as often), 12 mg for my "normal" vaping, some 6 mg and even 0 nic for when I'm chain vaping and/or an hour or two before bedtime. With nicotine being a stimulant, I don't want my sleep disturbed because I'm hyper on nicotine. PG is propylene glycol. This is the flavor carrier in the juice and also gives you that throat hit. Higher PG = more flavor, thinner juice, more throat hit, less vapor VG is vegetable glycerin. More VG = thicker juice (can gunk up coils faster), slightly sweeter flavor, more vapor, less throat hit, not a good flavor carrier Keep in mind that, although you want less vapor, if you're wanting to get off of traditional cigarettes, seeing the vapor is part of the psychological "satisfaction" we get from smoking/vaping. Most people start out at a 50 PG/50 VG ratio and go from there. If you inhale and hold it for 10 seconds, you'll see a noticeable decrease in the amount of vapor that comes out no matter what your PG/VG ratio. That's how we "stealth vape" in situations where we're not supposed to be vaping. Ask lots of questions. We have a wonderful group of friendly and informative members here. Welcome to Vapor Talk.

That's a very handsome pair of young 'uns. Looks like they're just bursting with energy!

Adding to what Rixter said, you also don't know for 100% sure that there isn't some small defect in the wire you're using at that time. In a perfect world, we would always have perfect wire with no imperfections and the entire length would be exactly perfect, but we don't and it's not. Better to be safe than sorry and always check with a meter.

Glad you asked this question, Rix. I've been wondering the same myself (also the same about the Atlantis).

Everything Earthling said. I'd also like to add the Provari into the mix. It's a little pricey but is very dependable. I'd use my mini much more but I get tired of changing out batteries all the time (the mini uses 18350s -- around 700 mAh), and I keep forgetting to order the damned extension so I can put an 18650 3400 mAh in it.

You'd want to start a whole new line of juices for the skull bottles. Get dragon bottles for the Hydra series.

Getting away from the tobacco cigs.... How Long?
Tam replied to JohnnyFog's topic in New Vapers Forum
From what I've heard from many people who transitioned from smoking to vaping, it's an individual thing. Some take longer than others. Me personally, I vaped and smoked for the first five days and then put down the cigarettes. Others will take longer while other people will take less. When I started it was with 24 mg of nic, that's roughly the equivalent to a pack of full flavor while I'd been smoking lights. The extra nic kept the cravings away. The first few weeks or more your body is going through detox of all kinds of carcinogens. That's just as addicting (if not more), than the nicotine you were getting. What nic strength are you using? If you're still craving smokes, I'd go up a little on the nic and see if that helps. Also, vaping isn't an all or nothing kind of thing. You can have a cigarette if you absolutely want one. For me, the mindset that I could never have another cigarette would be a big reason for me to fall off the wagon when I tried other smoking cessation products. When I gave myself permission to have one if I really wanted one, and then went back to vaping after... that took away all my stress for the situation and made the transition easier. YMMV -
If I remember right, the well is a bit deep.

The guys at my B&M said that they're a b.i.t.c.h to build on but look so good.... Yeah, I almost bought one just for the looks but then a little brain cell in my head finally sparked and I decided against. LOL
-
These are hybrid mods where the RDA is connected to the base and you can't take it off. I thought of getting one until I took a closer look at my local B&M and decided I don't want something that I can't test my build independently... They are very pretty though!

When I've been watching a lot of westerns like Bebop has lately, I can swing right into the lingo (living in the sticks in Colorado doesn't hurt). This past month I've been main lining old West Wing episodes where they speak "politicalese" so the western dialect didn't get through. LOL

Yes, to all of the above comments. If the battery is a 650 or 900 mAh, it's going to discharge much faster depending on how much he's using it.

Gonna Pick This Up, Just An Impulse Buy...

Loved this review: Grossly overpriced for what it delivers. I was able to achieve the same curved screen effect for a fraction of the cost just by sitting on my iPhone 6 for half an hour. -

Since it's only $120,000 you really do need two to balance your house... -
The leaning tower of Mod... it really doesn't look crooked if you cock your head to the other side a little... Sorry. Got nuthin'.

*falls over laughing* OMG, Bebop. I need a translator for your post. I ain't much on jawin' western...

Sounds like you got yourself a winning combo in the Eleaf iStick and Nautilus. Those two are very good together. Don't try to go down in nic too fast, give yourself time to let your body heal from the cigarettes you used to smoke. Trying to cut the nic too fast could have negative consequences like going back to analogs. We have a good bunch of members here who are very helpful. You could also find it's a pretty neat hobby once you get used to all the sheer amount of "stuff" that goes with vaping. Welcome to Vapor Talk.

LOL. I could go on about old dogs and new tricks, but the short story is that my body's doing all the aging it wants on its own. I have this thing on the word, "aging"...

Depends on the juice. For many of the fruit flavors, I've found very little difference by steeping. With creamy flavors and other bakery flavors, I've found a pronounced difference between a week to two weeks and more. My ADV needs a minimum of two weeks (a month is usually best but rarely lasts that long), so I order accordingly so that it can steep before use.
