Just changed it over the VV mode and it won't read the atomizer at all. Now I'm getting the "atomizer low" message. WTH? Then, I loosen the adapter and it reads everything from 0.0 ohm - 1.4 ohm depending on how much I rock the adapter. I think these are going back. Sorry, I just got off a 12.5 hour workday so my brain's about as fried as your wicks. LOL Anyway, to answer your question, I had it at VW when it was bouncing like Tigger all over the place.

What resistance of coils are you using and how often are you changing them out? That might also have an effect on it. Just a thought.

The thing is, I'm not using tanks when this happens. My HH.357 is giving me fits on it. The iStick also gives me the "no atomizer" message (with and without the adapter). Then, after playing with it a bit, it reads the atomizer at around 1.2 ohm (this is a brand new 2.0 ohm that I tested on my ohm meter). Then, the dance of the bouncing wattage setting begins again. The blue one has the Nautilus mini on it with no problems there so far other than one screw not being seated right on the bottom so it sits a little crooked. I've tried unscrewing it but it won't budge and I don't want to take the chance of stripping the head. *sighs* At least my IPV mini is working like a champ.

I've been having the same problem as you. I reset the wattage down as far as it will go and it'l work for a time or two and then, when I notice a harsh/burnt taste, I look down and it's bumped itself up to 11 watts (had it set at 6.4 watts). Since these are my first iSticks, I thought I might've been inadvertently hitting the buttons or doing something wrong.

Bought something from Dhgate about six months ago. It took several weeks before they even shipped it. Won't be ordering from them anymore.

I have to agree with Joe and Earthling. My mech mods have been gathering dust lately while I give my APVs a workout.

And they will change it beyond recognition by adding unneeded fan service scenes and changing the storyline so much it's pretty much unrecognizable from the original book when they finish.

Maybe, but I'd be hard pressed to buy it right now. As it is, I've got more than enough batteries to last me for several years if not longer. LOL

If I remember correctly it took 4 - 5 days for a package from Comp to me but only two days from me to him.

Nic level plays the biggest part but also VG level. Too much VG and the wick can't soak up it fast enough so you wind up with dry hits. Those are not pleasant. I'd go no more than 30 PG/70 VG at the most. My preferred is 50/50 and I still get lots of flavor and vapor enough to satisfy. YMMV.

If you want to order online and don't know of a trustworthy vendor, we have the Vapor Talk store right here that only sells genuine (no knock offs) brand names at some of the lowest prices around and great customer service for hardware and juices. If you want to get customized juices, there are many good to great vendors you can read reviews about in that thread on this forum. One of the forum's favorites is Fadora Vapor. Compenstine, a highly respected forum member and the owner of the store, will help you get just the right juice for what you want.

I'm good with that! But seriously, I will happily pay for an original if it's not outrageously over-priced. Fair market value is good though.

Google is my friend. And so is Joejoe. LOL $80 isn't a bad price for the original. I was afraid it was something like $200 or so... For this price, I might just go with the original instead of taking a chance with a clone.

The ones I've been looking at are from EphPro (can't remember how to spell it and too lazy to go look it up). Won't buy one made by Tobeco, I don't like their quality on anything else I've tried by them. Who makes the original?

Okay, my one remaining brain cell just bit it. 'Splain to me why it's for me?

No one really "needs" RDAs but they're good for building your own coils, having more control over your vaping, for the flavor and for some... clouds. I use a prebuilt direct drip atomizer for my all day vape but the ones I love cost around $25 each and don't last very long due to the sweet, dark juices I vape. So, in order to save some money, I'm getting RDAs so I can build my own coils, rewick and I'm good to go and still get the same great flavor without nearly the cost in the long run. Did that make any sense?

Before you buy an RDA or an RTA, make sure you buy a quality ohm meter to test your builds before firing it up on your mod. The next thing to do is to get a battery that can handle the low resistance coils you want to build. Safety first!
