I started watching 24 but had to stop because it was so addicting I couldn't put it away when I had other things that needed to be done. One of these days, when I have absolutely nothing to do for the next month or so, I may go back to it. For today, I'm doing laundry, washing linens, and cooking for the whole week while semi-watching NCIS: Los Angeles.

Did you pull the tank completely apart before cleaning? Did you also use something like a Q-tip or a tiny bottle washer to get the residue from all parts? If you did that, then I'd suggest replacing the O-rings -- they could also retain some of the flavor.

Newbie and feeling hopeless. MVP20w resistance issue

Also, for future reference... even if the MVP is a variable voltage/variable wattage device, you can only set it one thing at a time not both. -

I know, it's one of the cute things about you: how you go all "geek" and let's tear this thing apart and put it back together the right way. But for someone who is new to vaping, I go for the easiest fix first. Eliminate that before going more in depth. -

Jason gave some really good tips. The thing I would do before following Jason's tips is to take the Nautilus tank off your MVP, turn it upside down and take off the bottom like you're going to refill with juice. Double check the coil in the bottom piece to make sure it's not loose. Take the coil out, swab the bottom piece clean of juice, clean the threads of the coil and replace snugly. You don't want to over tighten it, just finger tight. Put it back onto the tank and then the MVP. Sometimes, for no apparent reason, the coil can come loose. When that happens you start getting all kinds of weird readings. If this doesn't fix it, then I'd go through the steps Jason suggested. -

Clover overlord 2(subohm 30w spinner)

Me too. A few of the B&Ms I've been to, the prices were outrageous -- for stuff that was clearly knock offs to boot. -
Spydre, have you tried calling them? 732-253-7360

Yeah, at $31.99 for an iStick online... even spending $5 for shipping, it's still cheaper than $55. -
You got that right! But I'm thinking I need to go through my back up stash and work on paying most of those forward.
-
*picks self off floor from laughing so hard* Thank you. I needed that.

Not necessarily. The T2s, when they came out, all had short stubby coils. Then, after a few weeks they released the medium length coil, then finally the long coils came out. I loved the T2 and still have quite a few of them (although they don't see use anymore), as well as quite a few boxes of the short wick replacement coils.

I have a Q-coiler, which works well for me but it's a bit bigger than I like. At first, I thought the bigger size would be good, but as time has gone by, I'm leaning more toward the Kuro Koiler that Earthling mentioned as being more convenient.
-
There are coilers made specifically for wrapping coils for vaping available. Your idea is a good one, though!

iStick 20W can't settle on resistance

I look forward to hearing all about it... sometime in March? Or would that be April? -
Safelink Think this is cool

I try. It's so much easier when I'm not sleep deprived and over-worked though. -

iStick 20W can't settle on resistance
Tam replied to Earthling789's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
Okay, I just loaded up a KPT3 with a new juice I've been wanting to try. It's reading 1.8 ohm on the iStick and the ohm meter. So far so good. Got it set at the lowest wattage that it'll go (4.7w / 3.0v) and... it's amazing! No fluctuations so far. I got frustrated and put the Jam RDA onto my Magneto mech mod. We're all much happier this way. Let me know how the new connectors work for you. You ordered them from Fasttech, yes? -

And even though the adapter is put on, you still get the same short. Great deduction, Earthling! Unfortunately, the HH.357 is doing the very same thing as the Nautilus. *sighs* Wait. The Nautilus. I have my mini on the blue iStick and it's not doing anything wonky -- it works just fine with no fluctuation of wattage. WTH? -

I'm in the "let's wait until the champagne comes back in stock" camp. -
$150 - $300 a test that takes about two hours. Not a bad way to make some extra cash. Just wish the certificates only lasted a year instead of five.
-
Hey, what can I say? I made over $800 in one year testing guys' knowledge of lube. LOL
-
Just a little bit of e-liquid. Speaking of lube, did you know that in some professions you have to be certified to use lube? When I first heard about it I about laughed myself silly. And then I went to administer the lube certification test to 10 guys who worked at a cement plant. The Lube Council pays its testing proctors very well... I kid you not, there really is such a thing as the Lube Council.
-
My top cap is very firm. When I first got it I had to use a little juice on the O-rings to lube it a little.

If she gets a treat that's "too big" in her opinion, she goes and drops it into her toy box where it will petrify until she's ready for it. She hates a bed that's just been made up. She will root under it until it looks like my SO and I had a really good time...
