For some odd reason I've been craving a nice, snowy day. Bring it! Sadly, our best chance for snow is on Saturday but it's only a 30% chance.
-
Just last week that could've been our forecast here in Southern Colorado. Day before yesterday we got almost 2" of snow. Most of it's already melted now.

But the pretty batteries work BESTEST!

Really? You like the Magma over the Stillare? I'm the opposite and favor the Stillare over the Magma. Better still, I like the JAM over the Stillare for flavor and ease of use. To the OP: you're going to get lots of different answers. That's because we use different builds in ours, different wicks, different juices (and PG/VG ratios), and so many other variables. It's kind of like asking which cloud in the sky is your favorite? The best flavor RDA is the RDA that works best for you.

Everyone with a smoker banner please post here :)

Everyone's entitled to their own opinions but those "show off" things help motivate me to keep vaping. -

Well, if you're the boss, then I want a raise. I can work without pay for a good looking boss but since you're it... -
Comp would wash out as a politician. He's too honest.

Interesting article but I'm skeptical of their results. Before getting off analogs I got colds constantly and had chronic sinusitis so bad that I had to have surgery done. Still caught colds and got sinus infections afterwards but not quite so often. Since I've been vaping, I have had two mild colds and one sinus infection per winter. In May I will have been using e-cigs for three years.

I like details... even those that I don't understand. It's how I learn more about these things.

In the mean time, take the coil out, reseat and tighten finger tight making sure it's not cross threaded. Also, while you have the bottom part apart from the tank, blow gently through the top of the coil (hold the tissue loosely over the bottom part to catch any liquid that comes out). Put back together. That might help somewhat. Good luck and stay safe with the storm!

Don't we all at times?

You know... at this point I'm going to suggest you do a little more research before building anymore dual coils. If you're not already familiar with Ohm's Law, that might be the place to start. Safety first.
-
Are you using the coils that came with the tank? Those usually are not the highest quality. In other tanks, I toss the ones that come in the package and put in "replacement" coils from a different pack. Just a couple of thoughts to help troubleshoot -- if possible.

Most of us on this forum are big fans of Fadora juices and even bigger fans of Compenstine (the owner of Fadora). He's a good egg. Welcome to Vapor Talk.

When using dual coils, if you build each coil at 1.0 ohm, put them together in an RDA and it'll read .5 ohm. If you checked each coil separately and each one read .5 ohm, then putting them together will divide the resistance in half to .25 ohm. Your device might not be able to fire that low, which could be why it wouldn't work.

Sorry, no experience with the Smok GBC, but whenever I hear of a tank leaking, it's usually the coil. Might change it out to another one to see if that's the culprit?
-
When you get your gear in the mail, be sure to rinse out your tank in hot water and dry well before loading with juice. Don't want to be vaping anything other than the e-liquid.

Funny, I don't recall any of us ever being accused of being mentally mature before...

I did not either make you shoot the poor defenseless flamingos! Lies! All lies, I tell you! Besides, I checked and there were no cameras anywhere nearby...

I've tried Pink Spot and it's not for me, either. There's a flavor in their juices (I've purchased 8 bottles from them), that just does not taste right for me no matter how long I "age" steep them.
-
I really like Phil Busardo's reviews, that he's also entertaining while giving so much vital information is a plus.
-
This might be a dumb question but I'm going ask anyway. When you built the .5 ohm dual coil, did you build two coils at .5 ohm each or did your meter read .5 ohm for both coils installed on your RDA?

Here I thought I was good at spending other people's money. Earthling789 has me beat! He won't steer you wrong though. You'll be very happy with your purchases that he recommends, but your wallet will also be much lighter.

Hang around, read through the threads... you'll be amazed at the amount of information you can get as well as how often we derail threads and go off topic...

Whatever it was, I don't think you're in trouble...
