  1. The concept of having to carry around more stuff is not for me, but if you like it, get it. We all like different things, that's what makes vaping so interesting.
  2. No, I got a black 70w in a week or so ago. This one is the 30w in a very nice champagne color.
  3. Got my IPV mini in champagne today. Thanks, Earthling, for helping me lighten my bank account. Again. Also got my order in from Comp at Fadora! There's an original sample pack with PBFB, strawberry waffle, Birthday Cake, and Fruitti Tutti. Also got a bunch of battery cases and four VTC 4 batteries. Received a tracking number on my iStick 50w and it's coming from Littleton, CO. If it's not here in a day or two, I think we'd have a problem as they're only a couple of hours' drive up the road.
  4. On all of our side roads, that 4 - 6" of snow is covering solid ice underneath. Car skating has been a popular sport around here lately.
  5. A big pat on the back and then some should be coming your way for what you're doing. The lovely person who tried to take this guy for a ride should be pilloried. Sheesh, what a mess.
  6. Yay points! Now, what was it that I was supposed to buy for Jeff?
  7. How much is "won't break the bank" for you? Do you want something with a separate battery or something that has a built in battery that's not changeable?
  8. A proprietary atomizer and a separate tool is needed to adjust airflow... too fussy for me. No thanks.
  9. On my drive home last night it was near white out conditions with the wind blowing it around. We're expecting 4 - 6 inches throughout today. Still had to come into work today. We were all hoping for another snow day but no.
  10. Hey, Comp? It could be because I'm still working on my first cup of coffee but isn't our tap water treated with fluoride? Why would it be put in water if it were toxic if swallowed?
  11. Like B, we have the Fire Stick and use our Amazon Prime account. We still have DirectTV but it's not watched for more than sports and news.
  12. Well, the iStick 20w was almost what I wanted with the exception of the whole wonky thing that it doesn't give accurate (or even close) readings of power. The 50w looks to be more of what I wanted in the first place. I need to find something to replace the stick batteries with something with higher mAh. As much as I love my Vision Spinners, I'm kind of getting tired of hauling 4 or 5 extra batteries with me everywhere. One or three would be preferable.
  13. Well, if e-liquid has antifreeze in it, I think I'll vape a bit more. I'm going to need it in the morning when I venture outside to go to work. It's snowing like crazy right now and is supposed to continue all night. LOL
  14. Just ordered one from World of Vape for $52.99.
  15. Bebop and Comp make very valid points and give good advice. Also, the PG/VG ratio of the juice will make a difference in how well you taste the flavor. Higher VG will give you more vapor, but it will also mute the flavor (PG is the flavor carrier), and gunk up coils faster.
  16. What resistance did your ohm meter read of these coils both individually and dual?
  17. Pssst! I think there's already a thread or two that's already set up.
  18. It snowed all Sunday night and we got a snow day on Monday with nearly a foot of snow! Everything was all white and pristine outside. So pretty (when I don't have to go out in it). Today, it's back to work with a high of 45, but we're expecting more snow on Thursday.
  19. Actually, I wasn't talking about you, Hooker.
  20. Maybe not so much "fear" as there is a general "dread." We get new vapers (more than less these past few months), who try to fly a jet before they know how to ride a bicycle (and they don't even know how to check the air pressure in the tires). Little to no research done prior to diving straight into RDAs and coil building with no knowledge at all of Ohm's Law or battery safety. You name it, we've seen it... although there are a couple who take us by pleasant surprise who come on here and do their research to learn all they can. The latter are fairly rare, but we tend to hang onto those with both hands. With the former new vapers, we try to give them solid advice (in the simplest terms possible) to keep them as safe as we can.You could call us their "training wheels." In the beginning there's a lot to learn about vaping, juices, coils, coil resistances, etc. We try not to overwhelm them with too much information until... later... when we take the training wheels off.
