  1. Went and had my teeth cleaned yesterday. Due to life getting in the way I'd missed the last two appointments so it's been a year since I've had them cleaned. In the past, even at six months, it took the hygienist a lot of scraping to get all the stains off my teeth and it took well over an hour each time. Yesterday? Minimal scraping on only a couple of the insides of my lower teeth (mostly coffee stains). Was in and out in less than half an hour. My dentist and hygienist are thrilled about me vaping and are telling their patients about my success with it.
  2. But what can you do with a cool looking hunk of non-usable metal? Glad you didn't have any money tied up in this thing, Earthling. If I'd bought it and it had this many problems, I'd be very... put out.
  3. Thanks for the great review, Earthling! Your critical failures list would be deal breakers for me IF I were interested in getting an RTA. The plastic on the tank is a major thing, and the reason why I've gotten away from all plastic tanks. And why would they not add an Allen key to the "extras" if it's a custom size is beyond me. Small flat head screw drivers are easy to come by but it would be annoying to have one included that doesn't really work for the purpose.
  4. If you get 70 VG and find that it's a little too thick, you can always get some PG to add to your juice or use distilled water. Add only one drop (or two at most) into your tank and shake well to mix it all up. That will thin out your juice, but it will also affect your vapor production but not by much and you probably won't notice the difference.
  5. You'll be fine with a 1.8 ohm coil. Just be aware that you'll want to give your wick a little extra time to soak up the juice when you first put in the new coil. More VG makes for thicker juice so you might get a dry hit or two if you chain vape too fast. Otherwise, 70 VG should be fine. I wouldn't go any higher than that, though.
  6. The resistance level shouldn't really play a part in the coil for higher VG. My personal preference is 1.8 ohm on a single coil for the KPT2 like you have. It gives you more versatility, imo. With a higher VG, keep in mind that it's going to gunk up your coils faster but you will get more vapor.
  7. Sorry, B, but I got nothing for you. I'm interested to see if there is such a beast, though. Good luck with your search!
  8. Glad to hear you got an ADV out of it.
  9. It tastes just like the gum I remember from childhood. You did good! I may need to make an order for 3 mg nic on this one.
  10. Yep. I'm very selective about which juices I use your coils with, Comp. When I try a new juice, I like to use the stock coils just in case. Your Fruitie-Tootie is the juice I'm vaping and I'm quite impressed!
  11. Just filled up an Anyvape Davide mini (very similar to a KPT mini), with a 60/40 juice at 8 mg nic. Put that on my IPV mini 2 at 7.0 watts. Had to go open the window and turn the fan on I got so much vapor out of it. You can get "clouds" with just about anything as long as you have the right juice ratio, the right battery/mod and the right resistance atomizer. Maybe want to think about getting a different regulated device? I'm also getting a lot of vapor with my KPT2 and KPT3.
  12. If you have to get the tank now, there's the Atlantis (mixed reviews on this one), or the Kanger Sub-tank or the Sub-tank mini with or without the premade sub-ohm coils. If you don't want to go the sub-ohm route, there's always the Nautilus and Nautilus mini. My mini gives me more clouds than I want most times.
  13. What's the PG/VG ratio of the juice you're using now?
  14. Congrats on the 6 years! That's very much worth celebrating. I'm very happy with the Eleaf iStick 50W, personally. My IPV mini and IPV mini 2, while they're both single 18650 batteries, keep me vaping all day and well into the next.
  15. http://www.smoktek.com/Stainless-Knucklehead-Drip-Tip-510901KR808d-1_p_927.html http://www.ecblendflavors.com/drip-tip-ecblend-ss-adjustable-knucklehead/ EC Blends has it for slightly cheaper and I order juice from them all the time. Their customer service is most excellent!
  16. Any drip tip for a 510 or 901 will fit the Nautilus and Nautilus mini.
  17. I love my Nitecore i4 charger! Like Earthling said, it's a workhorse and has just enough bells and whistles to keep me happy.
  18. Are you using it in an RDA or a tank, Jason?
  19. Why do both and muddy the waters? Some members might want to either sell or trade, whichever offer they get. If that's the case and we have a whole different section just for trades, which one do you use?
  20. Or maybe we can rename the Classified section to: Member Classified: Buy, Sell or Trade There. Problem solved.
  21. My regular juice had 12 mg of nic in it. Went down to 6 mg for a few hours before bed and started sleeping much better. After a month or two I took it down to 3 mg before bed. My regular is now down to 6 mg during the day. This works the best for me. Good luck finding your balance.
  22. Nice to see. Thanks for the link!
  23. Hope the tornadoes disperse quickly. Be safe, Hooker.
  24. Yep. Sounds about right. We got a gold star in "sharing."
  25. Thanks for the explanation. I was all like... what???
