If it were me, I'd start with the juices. I tried really hard to like Mt. Baker Vapor's juices because they're so inexpensive and the customer service is amazing. My taste buds just don't care for something in their juice though. What exactly are you looking for when you vape? More throat hit? More flavor? More...what? If you can tell us that, we may be better able to narrow things down for you.

BIRTHDAY TODAY BORN AGAIN 04-01-2013
Tam replied to NewDrip's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
Congratulations on making the two year mark! Great accomplishment right there. May you have many more. -
If you like the pen style batteries, my go-to are the Vision Spinner 1300 mAh. They're a little thicker than a 900 mAh, variable voltage (you need to be able to get 4.3V for the 2.0 ohm HH.357). I wouldn't recommend the Vision Spinner II (1600 mAh), because there's a glitch in recharging. The 1300 mAh are great workhorses and extremely dependable. If you order the custom HH.357 like I do, I order it 100% PG. It's easier to get the PG out and the break in period is next to nothing. With some VG in the mix, it's thicker and you have to vape through it longer. Just my two cents.

Comp to the rescue! Who would've thought Wolfwood would need it? Now, let me introduce you to the Lamborghinis of atomizers somewhat similar to what you pictured above: http://www.avidvaper.com/hh-357-cisco-spec-hybrid-atomizers/ Yes, they're more expensive than others, but they are also known to last close to a year or more depending on the juice you use. If you're like me and insist on vaping dark, overly sweet juices, the HH.357 won't last too long. Use lighter colored, normally sweet juices and they could last more than a year with careful maintenance. So far, I've not been able to find even an RDA with rebuildable coils that can rival the flavor and vapor I get out of these things. Watch the video for a little more instruction, these have a little bit of a learning curve even for experienced direct drippers. Welcome back. ETA: And we have some most excellent members who are very good at helping others spend money. Yours truly included. As for a battery to upgrade your eGo pass throughs (these are what I started vaping with and still love), I'd suggest an Eleaf iStick 50W if you're into box mods. It's a variable voltage/variable wattage battery at 4400 mAh. You only have to charge this sucker once every few days depending on your vaping style. It's plug and play and an upgrade on the pass through. If you want a dependable box mod, the IPV mini and IPV mini 2 are great and dependable. These use external batteries so you'll need to buy those and a good charger if you don't already have some. Others will be along shortly to tempt you with other goodies.

Congratulations, Earthling! That's a great accomplishment, and you've come a long way in a short amount of time. It's been great having you here on the forum and watching you help noobs that come online. They've benefited greatly due to your kind patience and expertise. That you also communicate extremely well is a huge plus. Hope to see you around for many more years to come. Besides, who else can spend my money so well if not you?

Also, what does he mean by his e-cig "popped"? Do you think we scared him away, Jeff?

To me it seems like mechs are the manual transmission while VV/VW are the automatics. There is a place for both but just more VV/VW on the roads these days.
-
Right! And back ups of the back ups.

We're all about safety first! around here. If that's your mindset, too, you'll fit right in.

Lutheran Social Services That's what Google told me. No wonder the lady had no clue what T-bone was asking for.

I go for the dump the tank, clean it out, pop in new juice and new coil and go on. The rest of the bottle goes on the shelf for a second or third try later on after it's had some time to mature a bit. Then, if I still don't like it, it gets given away.

Welcome to Vapor Talk.

With your equipment upgrade, Nate, you might want to consider trying juice from another vendor to see if that will make a difference. I've found that different vendors/different juices vape in new ways, some better than others.
-
Be sure to wipe your IPV down with alcohol to remove all oils that came from your skin before applying the wrap. That makes it stick better with no corners lifting.

Get both so you can compare...

One more thing to think about: while we all agree that vaping PG, VG, nicotine and food grade flavorings may be less harmful to our bodies than smoking a cigarette, there's still no long term testing to prove it is so. That said, there's no studies at all on what vaping caffeine does to a body. I think I'll take the lesser of two evils and stick to ingesting my caffeine in the form of tea or coffee, thank you very much.

Nope. I figure I get enough of a "boost" with the nic in my juice. Don't see the need (nor want) anything more than that.
-
Congratulations!

. Just so long as you don't high tail it to your nearest Dunkin' Donut and attack the poor girl behind the counter.

A lot of it is trial and error. Some juices like it hotter and/or taste better in one tank but doesn't in another. My ADV of more than two years? It only tastes "right" when I use an HH.357 atomizer to the tune of $20 a pop. When I tried it in an Anyvape Davide, Davide mini, Kanger Pro Tank 2 and 3, Aerotank... It tastes different in all of these tanks. It's what you prefer...

You guys are making me hungry...
-
Thanks, guys, but I don't shop at Sweet-Vapes anymore after a $75+ bad shopping/customer service experience with them. I'll happily pay the $30 per at my B&M instead.
-
Unfortunately, I've had to resort to getting the original 1300s at my local B&M. They sell theirs for around $30 too.

Thankfully, "Tam" hasn't seen the need to get any more drip tips lately. She's quite happy with her collection of them at the moment.

Went and had my teeth cleaned yesterday. Due to life getting in the way I'd missed the last two appointments so it's been a year since I've had them cleaned. In the past, even at six months, it took the hygienist a lot of scraping to get all the stains off my teeth and it took well over an hour each time. Yesterday? Minimal scraping on only a couple of the insides of my lower teeth (mostly coffee stains). Was in and out in less than half an hour. My dentist and hygienist are thrilled about me vaping and are telling their patients about my success with it.
