  1. Sounds very cool. You guys that can make all these crazy mods really are something. Me...well let's just say if it aint broke...it will be.
  2. Sounds like it got too dry and may have burnt it up. I'm no expert but from all the info I've heard that's a pretty good bet. You may be able to contact who you got it from and maybe they will replace it, no sure thing there. Try adding juice 2-3 drops into the atty and see what happens. Can't do any harm if it's dead. Good luck.
  3. Welcome to the site. Haven't heard of that brand until now. I would suggest you do a lot of research before you jump into any product. There are plenty of reviews and lots of info on here and always someone willing to help with any questions you may have. Good luck.
  4. This isn't a good way to keep a customer base. Most of us know that most vendors all get their supplies from the same places, it's just a matter of who wants to give the best price that makes the difference. So if someone places an order and has the kind of service that you have mentioned it really hurts their chances of repeat business. Thanks for the heads-up and let us all know how it turns out. Good Luck!
  5. Must agree...I ordered from them also and was really pleased. Good service and great flavor. Good review.
  6. Have to agree with you. This is one of the best menthol juices I've tried. Good to know someone else feels that way too.
  7. Sorry to hear about the battery. But you might try getting in touch with who you got the kit from and maybe they will let the few extra days slide. It's worth a try and if not you'll just have to get a couple of back-ups. Good luck.
  8. First I'd say give them a little time before you give up on the new ones. It sometimes takes a little bit before they get to vaping good. As for the knock-off's, look down inside to see if there is a ring around the come shape. It looks like a small washer. If there is then it's the knock-off and not an original Joye atty. I'm sure someone else here can give you some more advice, but that's the info I've been hearing. Good luck and hang in there.
  9. So far I like Midnight the most, then Sweet Dawn, then my own creme de menthe, coffee, pecan, VT's grape is very good, and so it the traditional tobacco. Oh and Mark's home made tangerine and root beer was great too.
  10. I have the red one,and was really hoping to light up my world with it. I sent them an e-mail asking if it was a design change and never received a reply. I know it's a minor thing, but when you're expecting one thing and get another it's kind of a let down. OH WELL, guess I'll just have to live with it.
  11. Ok, so after much harassing from some of my fellow bus riders I ordered my vp/pt. I've watched a lot of videos on it from several different people. One of them was Grimm Green who said how when he got it home and first turned it on how it lit up his kitchen with light from the LED's. I wont lie I was looking forward to checking out this for myself. Well I got it the other day and the Led's are there but really nothing like what all the hype was on those videos. Now don't get me wrong, the unit is a kick-*** device. The vapor production is great and all that but I'm a little let down by the lack of Led lighting being put out. I know it's a minor and somewhat childish complaint, but I was just a little disapointed with the way it works or should I say doesn't work. I'm wondering if this is a design change or is there a flaw with my unit? If anyone else has gotten one of the new vp/pt's I would like to hear if you have noticed this also All in all it's a great vapor producer but I'm a little sad at the lack of Led output.
  12. If you haven't been off analogs long enough you will have trouble tasting most of the flavors. Give it time and it will come around slowly. The real point here is to just keep on keeping on and not to give up on vaping. Believe me, it gets better!!
  13. I'm with Mark on this one. I tried the tea bag trick and it was just too much hassle. I use the Fluval from Petsmart and it's a lot easier and works great for me.
  14. welcome to the forum. I know about the scotch-brite, we use it at work. You may however want to check the MSDS on it because I think it has a chemical process to it. Don't quote me on that, but I would chk first. I too use the Fluval filler, works very well, you can get it and the blue foam at PetSmart.
  15. Have you tried a local cake decorating shop? They may be able to help you out or point you in the right direction. Also, some home hobby shops carry them.
  16. Had a few run-ins with the law for tags also. Once cost me my tags and a nice fine. Oh well...live and learn (I hope)
  17. Thanks so much for the info. As usual you have come through with some great information. I am very interested in trying some of these and now I know where to get them. Thanks again Brian. Good review!!! Think I'll give you a +1 for all the great help.
  18. Hey don't feel bad. It's all a learning thing for us all at first. Hell, it took me over a year before I fully quit analogs. That's not to say that I don't want one now and then, but so far I've been able to resist. Just hang in there and it will work out in time. No one ever said it was easy. If it was we would all have quit ages ago. Good luck and happy vaping.
  19. It will take a few times till you find just what's right for you. Just keep trying and you'll find your sweet spot.
  20. Good review Tek. I'm using t-tips but the brass ones. They work really well but want to try some of the plastic ones now. Thanks for the info.
  21. She needs to stick to cooking....something she really knows about. It's people who don't know and make these kind of comments that really hurt this the most.
  22. Guess I'm just old school. I'm still using the Fluval refill method. Works and less trouble than all that teabag stuff. Besides...I don't like tea all that much.
  23. Thanks for the heads-up. Great review, keep em coming!
