  1. Hello...well mixing is cheaper than buying premixed by quite a bit, But it does take a little practice.Plus you can make flavors you like and mix and match them. As far as the cost of start-up...it doesn't seem like it at first, but it does get cheaper after a while. That is unless you're one of those people that feels the need to buy every new or different device that comes on the market. Right now I figure my monthly cost (without new toys of course) is around $60.00. which isn't bad compared to buying cartons of cigarettes each month. So do some research and see how you compare to when you buy cigarettes. Good luck and happy vaping.
  2. Welcome to the forum and congrats on the 2 weeks. Even one day is the start in the right direction. Don't be afraid to ask questions as these folks here are really great. So keep up the good work. Good luck and happy vaping.
  3. Welcome...late again but congrats on the quitting. This really is a great forum for help and info. ( I loved that album, played it all the time and still love it today) So good luck and happy vaping.
  4. So I got a birthday coming up (yes I'm old) and my wife and daughters all start with the "what would you like for your birthday?" thing. I can't think of any one thing so I'm coming to you all for some suggestions. I thought I'd make up a kinda wish list and hope the get the hint. Only thing is, I want it all!!! I have my ego/tornado, my vp/pt(finally) a couple of 510's, a kr808d p/t from Vapor4life a very old 801 and an old 901,oh and my V3. Now I've never been a device hound that needs everything out there, but some suggestions would be very helpful. Maybe some gadgets that you've found helpful or just fun to have, or something that every vaper just has to have. Nothing too expensive or elaborate and I really don't like the units that look like baseball bats with buttons,(except for Mark's woodies which everyone else seems to have) but any and all ideas will be greatly appreciated. My D-day is the 10th so I need ideas in time for them to ship. Thanks, I'm sure my VT family will come through.
  5. It seems to me that if you've lived in tornado alley all these years you would have already been ready but I guess it's kinda like a will, you really don't think about it till the time gets close. Another thought would be to go the an army/navy surplus store and get some of those MRE's. They last a long time and you can store them for later. And yes stock up on pv's, attys and juice.
  6. Haven't seen any either, but it sounds like a kewl idea. Let us know if you find any.
  7. Like the others said it's just a primer, but boy does it taste like s..t for a while. It wont hurt you so just hang in there. Good luck and happy vaping.
  8. I'm not real smart when it comes to parts, but it is an electrical unit and they have some short comings. I've had some come in DOA and they were replaced but I'm not sure about 3 days. If you got it from Chris you might want to send him a pm or use the ticket system at the store to see if there is any thing he can do for you. He's a really upstanding guy so give him a try. Good luck
  9. Yes you were missed. It's time for you to do some more reviews. What kind of a job do you have?????
  10. I've tried the VT mentha and it is a really intense menthol. Very good flavor. I've also heard good things about Clouds of Vapor's liquid, you might want to give them a try.
  11. Mark..we all knew you'd have to get at least one. But where did you get a charcoal one at???

    Hi

Welcome to the forum. Keep up the good work. Hope to hear more from you. Good luck and happy vaping.
  13. It is a great little device. Hope you enjoy it.
  14. Hey Vic...saw you in chat last night. Glad you could join the party. Looked like you were enjoying the V3. Hope it works out well for you. I know I love mine and so does everyone else that has one. So come on by again you're always welcome. Good luck and happy vaping.
  15. I was like you. Wanted a longer battery but just didn't want to spend another 80 bucks for a kit at the time. So I went with just ordering a Tornado battery and cone from Totally Wicked. Since I already had some 510 attys I really didn't need the whole kit to start out with. I also ordered an extension piece for my 510 charger to fit the tornado batt. I can tell you that the battery life is great and the whole unit together looks awesome. Of course since then I've ordered another battery, a usb quick charger and a couple of Low res attys but at first just trying the battery and cone was the way to go for me. Just something to think about.
  16. Thanks Jeff...now I know what my lungs look like...glad I quit.
  17. I agree with Jeff...they look like kr808d1's ...I'd try looking at some place like vapor4life for your carto's.
  18. Hey...that's what this forum is all about as far as I can tell. It's about helping each other and having fun doing it, If it was all about ourselves we'd all have our own website and nothing would get done. So good luck and happy vaping.
  19. Cool little critter....good luck with her. Keep us informed.
  20. It's PEAR believe me. Not banana....pear.
  21. Denver..I agree with you also. I've said it before myself. Too many times we take this forum for granted that it will always be here, when the truth is that it takes a lot of time and effort to keep it going the way Chris and his team do. I know myself that if I hadn't come across this site and these people I would still be going about this vaping thing half-azzd and smoking analogs most of the time. So I'm with you all the way.
  22. Great story...and an even better outcome. I'm not sure how many have gone from analogs to e-cigs without a single craving, but I'll bet the number is really small. There hasn't been one day out of my 100 that I didn't want an analog. The only thing that helps me is to vape a little harder (if that's possible) and turn to the forum where I know others are going through the same thing. Glad you could hold out, and if you fail once in a while don't sweat it, we all go into this the hard way. So, glad you like the pass through and keep holding on. Good luck and happy vaping.
  23. I'm not to sure about the RN model, but I have used both the high and low bridge style 801 attys on my vp/pt. I've also used an adapter and a 510 on my passthru and can say it really kicks out some vapor. When I'm just taking my time I like the 510 set up and DD. If I don't want that hassle of dripping I'll go with a cart filled with juice and go for a longer time without refilling. I've also tried a 901 atty on the pt and it's also a different kind of vape. A little more flavor than the 510 and almost as much vapor production. So give them all a try and see which set up you like the most. With the 5v vp/pt you really can't go wrong with whichever you choose. Good luck and happy vaping.
  24. I see nothing good coming from all this. It's going to come down to us all paying extremely high taxes on carts or liquid to pay for the loss of sales of cigarettes. What this really is is that the big tobacco companies are pulling the strings of the FDA to make all this turn to their favor. One of the reasons I came to e-cigs, besides the health issue, was that they were taxing cigarettes out of control which in turn made the cigarette companies raise the price to the point that became just way to expensive. I'm sure that when they finally find a way to tax e-cigs at a level that helps both the govt. and big cigarette companies all the bans and seizures will quit. What we really need is for our elected officials to stand up for us and make the FDA prove their point about the health concerns or let it and us alone. But since most of our officials get campaign money from big cig companies, none of them have the balls to stand up and say "this just isn't true or correct". I only hope that a few more judges will come on board and stop the FDA from their Nazi tactics.
  25. I have to agree that this forum is 100% more to my liking than the ECF. I started out over there but found many of the people and posts to be less than friendly or respectful. It's just more comfortable here and more like a community than a contest. As far as the thread goes..I don't know why it was allowed to get that far out of hand. But it's my opinion that the "hemp" flavored juices are not the kind of image that we need right now with all the problems that are going on with the FDA. Just my own thoughts and you know how that is.
