  1. Want to....just waiting till I get back to work and hear a little feedback on it.
  2. That's pretty funny. Wish I'd thought of that when I was in school...lol
  3. Have to agree. 100%vg is just a little too thick to work well in cartomizers.
  4. Welcome to Vapor Talk. I think you'll be happy with your choice of the EGO. Many of us have them and they are a great unit. Fairly easy to use and the battery life is great. I understand your concern about having nic juice around with the little one, but if you store it up where she can't reach it you should be ok. Besides, you'll also have to do the same with any carts, atty;s or cartomizers you may have. If you go with standard carts you'll find that they need refilling quite often and this tends to be a bit of a pain. Direct dripping is good when you can, but not advisable when you're out driving. As far as at the bars or store and such I haven't had any one give me a lot of flack about bringing out my bottle of juice and adding a few drops. In fact I usually get the question of what the heck is that and what are you doing? Sometimes it's a great conversation starter. Unless you're going to use the Kr808D pre-filled cartomizers with your ego you wont need an adapter to use the unit with 510 atty's and cartomizers. I would suggest you try the regular and the LR(low resistance) cartomizers for the ease of not having to drip all the time. They hold a lot of juice and you can refill them several times. You can fill several with different flavors, put the rubber covers back on and take them with you. They're really nice. Well that's what I've go for now. If you have more questions don't hesitate to ask...we're all here to help. Good luck and happy vaping.
  5. Congrats on the BIG day. Keep up the good work,!!!!!!
  6. Nothing brings a family together like a bunch of alien drag queens. Glad you enjoyed the memories.
  7. You're a good man Joe. I've talked to you on chat and know you have a dry wit and good sarcasm and that's hard to put down on the keys. And your apology is genuine so I'm sure it will all work out. Hey we all have those days....shake it off and go on. you get a +1 from me buddy.
  8. DV...I've tried PA flavorings and they are pretty good, just not quite as strong as I would like. I've found that the flavors at DIYFlavorshack to be a little stronger in flavor and aroma. If you haven't tried them yet you might want to give it a shot. Plus she always sends extra goodies with your order.
  9. Good new....keep up the good work. Maybe you can get your Mom to try one?
  10. Welcome to Vapor Talk. You will find that the model of choice for most of us around here is the eGo. Great battery life, easy to use, uses the 510 atty's and cartomizers, good for dripping. Just a good all around unit. There are other devices out there and many of them are good, but for the money the eGo is really hard to beat. Don't forget to get extra juice and either atty's or cartomizers so you'll have back-ups just in case. Hate to plug another site but Puresmoker has eGo kits on sale right now for $50.00. And if you don't mind waiting a week or so for delivery Liberty Flights has them for $39.95 after their 20% off. Good luck and happy vaping.
  11. Welcome to Vapor Talk. You're making a great choice with the eGo. It's a great unit. If I were you I'd try 1 regular atty and 1Lr so you can see the difference between the two. Just remember that atty's are hit or miss. They can last for a month or more or as little as 10 mins. You just never know. I know it's no fun doing a lot of looking, you kinda just want to get it an go, but their price for delrin drip tips is a little high. If you don't have to have on right now I'd look around a little first for that. Just take the filler out of one of the carts and use it as a tip. You will have to take it off and on this way but you can handle that for a short time. Also, don't for get to get some extra juice. And I also agree with Dayvape and look into getting some 2.0LR cartomizers by Boge(vaporkings ) They are a great product and really work wonders. Will help when you can't drip, like driving. Other than that it looks like you're on your way to vaping nirvanna. Keep us informed as to how it's going. Good luck and happy vaping.
  12. Sounds like it's your body's way of telling you it's too high of a nic level. Maybe you'd better go back to 10mgs If that worked there's no reason to change.
  13. Great tks....looking forward to it.
  14. Welcome to Vapor Talk. You should be grateful to have a friend like Stirfry to help you on your way int vaping. I read somewhere that you take something like 10-12 drags off of a regular cigarette. Don't quote me on that. But for a e-cig it may take a few more to equal an analog since you're not getting the same amount of nic. (unless you're vaping really high nic level). As far as the carts that came with your eGo, you're right, they don't last very long and you have to keep refilling them because they don't wick the liquid well enough. Most people either direct drip or use cartomizers. The drip method is good for about 5 or 6 toots before you need to add liquid. 2-3 drops directly into the atty should be enough. Also, a drip tip is really good for this because you don't have to remove it to add liquid. The cartomizers work great when you're unable to drip, like driving or doing something that you can't stop for dripping. They hold more juice and you can usually go an hour or more before you need to re-wet the filler. I take the filler out of my old carts and use the carts as tips on my cartos, makes a nice mouthpiece. The carts that came with your kit is probably 24mg liquid, and since you don't smoke heavily I would suggest you cut your nic level down to around 16mg. You will be able to adjust later either up or down as you see how it goes. And yes some juices are more sweet than others. It really depends on the pg/vg base of the nic. Hope this helps a little and there will be other along to help out also, maybe correct anything I might have wrong. But you're on the right track so keep at it. It only gets better. Good luck and happy vaping.
  15. Sounds like another good mix to try out. I want to thank you all for all the great mixes you have been posting. I've been copying them and starting my own little recipe file for juices. Only problem is that I have to buy more flavorings for some of these because I never thought of getting some of these flavors. Well that's the way it goes with Diy I guess.....tks!
  16. A lot of high talking guys in that video now!. Very funny
  17. Haven't had much luck with root beer either. Always tastes funny. Is it just me or is Perfumers Apprentice a little weaker than the flavors at DiyFlavorshack? Just seem to get stronger mixes from Diy.
  18. Sounds like you're letting them get too dry before you refill. Atty's and Cartos need to stay wet or you'll get a dry burnt taste.
  19. Sounds like a great idea. You have the best of both worlds with this set up. Also agree on the 2.0 cartos...great for driving.
  20. This is an interesting device. If it works right it could be awesome. Have to agree with "nana" tho if it were a little shorter would be nice. And I'm not real crazy about all the etching, could be a little more subtle.
  21. There are several types of tips out there. It's mostly just a matter of whether you want a color or just plain black or silver. Also, look before you buy since many vendors carry the same type just priced differently. Also you need to decide whether you want delrin or metal or acrylic. Again...it all a matter of choice.
  22. Welcome to Vapor Talk. You've gotten some great advice and I have to agree with them. The 510 is a great place to start but don't forget to check out the Ego before you get too deep into kits. If you're like most of us you will be wanting to vape more and charge less and that's where the ego has the edge even with a pcc. Also I noticed that no one has mentioned the KR808D-1. This is very similar to the 510 except that it uses cartos. They come from short to long batteries and also have charging case for on the go. Vapor Talk has the Revolution kit and it's very sexy looking. Also Vapor4Life has several kits in different sizes and colors and you can also get them with the charging case and they have many flavors of cartos. So do a little more research before you jump, but I think you'll find what you're looking for. Good luck and happy vaping.
  23. I've had this same problem with my ego and Mark's mod. It seems that an atty I use on the ego will not always work at first on my mod unless I tweek the center post a little. I guess the ego must push the post down a little too much for my Mark mod. It is a conundrum.
  24. Don't see why you couldn't. I use the wall adapter and fast charger to charge my ego's so it should work for this too.
