If you are not hung up on the Lavatube specifically, you may wanna check out the "Vamo" from Smoktek . It allows you to vape in Volts or Watts & also will check the Ohm's of your Atomizer. ETA: nevermind, the new LT has Ohm reader as well.

Low Res just means that you can't crank up the voltage/Watts! Low res was designed to work well on 3.2/3.3v batteries. Your good to go!

Anyone Else Have A "bug Out" Bag?
LoTech replied to blucavvy's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
I have a "Bug - out" House! I ain't going anywhere...at least not initially. Best to let the entitlement horde thin itself out first if you must go somewhere. Collapse is coming...no one who has a fundamental understanding of math can deny it. Math is not politics. Math takes no sides. Governments can distort it, extend & pretend with it etc. But in the end...Math does not care. Math is TRUTH. And the pain that the TRUTH of math brings will be...exquisite. Especially for the sheeple among us that are absolutely clueless to what's happening around them, too busy worrying about the next iphone they HAVE to have or what Kim Kardashian is doing. Sweet dreams and may all sleep well tonite. -
I was incorrect, not Bill Godshall (From Casaa) But some other gentleman. Anyways, here's a link to the video:

I watched a youtube video by Bill Godshall that PG can be dangerous to cats & that you should NOT vape around them/blow it in their faces etc. I will see if I can find it.

LoL, Yeah...I think you're fine. The first few days, let me see if I can put this somewhat delicately...well, let's just say my Wife re-named me "Louis Buttstrong playing his magical Butt -Trumpet"! I've been told it's the Propylene Glycol...and it passes - No pun intended! ;-P You may also feel like a "Soft-serve" Chocolate Ice Cream machine for the first week or so when you go to "Survey your Kingdom" from the Throne...that's the PG too. It also passes and things get back to normal pretty quick. Drink lots of water as PG will tend to dry you up a little; give you "cotton mouth" as the old saying goes. Either way, you're o.k. Just keep calm and vape on.

Yeah, I get that little voice in the back of my head that says "A gallon? Really?" everytime I look at it in the closet but I figure what the heck...I've spent way more on bad liqour & stripper's in my long since lost youth in one night. (LoTech checks over shoulder to make sure the Wifey doesn't see him type that ).

Welcome from another noob! Juice, I am learning...is an enigma wrapped in a riddle...lol. What one person loves & recommends, another person's taste buds are absolutely insulted by! It's truly personal taste/preference that rules the day it would seem. I quickly got into DIY mixing and, while I probably have a long way to go with it; I am already making stuff that is pretty decent...at least decent enough for me! Mrs. Savvy mentioned RY4. I love RY4! If you haven't tried it, the best way I can describe it is (to me at least) it's a "caramel-ly" taste with a hint of tobacco at the very end. It's my understanding that the RY's start at "RY1" and depending on vendor, go all the way up to "RY8". The Higher the number - the more caramel taste. The lower the # the more "tobacco-ey". If you are searching for a tobacco flavor with a little something extra you may wanna check the RY's out! Another one I like to mix (and thought I wouldn't because I'm a guy ;-P ) is Tiramisu! Oh and, you say you like fruits? Try the Tiger's Blood from Totally Wicked's website. It's a combo of strawberry, kiwi and coconut - pretty tasty. Only advice I can impart when it comes to flavors is try to find at least 3 or 5 you like and be ready to rotate through them. I quickly noticed that after a week or so of one flavor; the flavor seems to become muted. I guess that's because you're taste buds have been bombarded for too long with one flavor? I dunno but, it also could be that my taste buds are not completely back from decades of smoking? Anyways, welcome once again and enjoy your journey through "vapedom"!

If you don't have ethyl maltol or cotton candy, you can substitute EZ-Sweets/Sucralose or, use no sweetener at all! I add caramel as I find it makes it taste like a Peanut butter & honey sammich...a favorite from my childhood...;-P

Yep, I just picked up the 1 gallon jug of PG USP from Tractor Supply for $19.99 yesterday. Humco brand VG USP (Sold/Labeled as "Glycerine") in the 6oz. bottle at Wal-Mart for $3.84. My local Publix Grocery store sells it (Humco VG) for $2.99 a bottle! Just an FYI.

Any Vapers In Saint Cloud, Fl Area On Here?
LoTech replied to TheMedicalMadman's topic in New Vapers Forum
Eh, I live a little ways away from you...Way down at the end of Hwy 50 where the Mermaids swim ;-p -
Here's a place you can buy replacement mouthpieces: http://www.smoktek.com/Vision-eGovGo-Clearomizer-Tip--Round_p_300.html They also sell flat tips too: http://www.smoktek.com/Vision-eGovGo-Clearomizer-Tip--Flat_p_299.html Good Luck!

How are you assembling it? Are you setting the new atomizer into the collar or, dropping it into the cone and then screwing the collar on? I always drop it into the cone and flick it with my finger a couple of times (gently) to make sure it's seated and then screw the collar onto the cone. I have heard of folks having problems with the atty's if they try to put it into the collar and then screw it into the cone. Just an FYI and I'm not saying this is your problem but, something to look at maybe? Good Luck!

I cannot speak to the "Crown Lion" brand. I can tell you that from my limited experience vaping (48-50 days) that my main concern initially was that I got enough nicotine. My very worst fear was failing and ending up smoking again...what it (E-Cig) looked like didn't matter to me in fact, the further away from looking like an analogue the better as far as I was concerned...just give me the nic that I CRAVE! ;-p I had done enough research to know that I needed to steer clear of the "cig-alikes". I am not saying you should, just that I should! I started out with Totally Wicked's "Torpedo" variable voltage unit. It's branded under many names depending on vendor..."Lavatube" is another name that comes to mind. I love it but, it is a cumbersome, bulky bastard that isn't always practical to tote around - depending on my activities for the day. I also have the eGo Tornado Tank as well and it suits me fine for those times I can't or don't want to tote the Torpedo around. That also led me to the twist var. voltage unit. That rocks also! I guess by now you're starting to see that eventually; you will own more than one PV! For me, it has now become as much a hobby as a nicotine delivery system! And, it's one that isn't wrapped in over 4,000 carcinogens! Good luck in your vaping journey whatever you choose!

LoTech here. Thanks for having me here on your forums. Been Vaping for approx. 48-50 days. Consequently, I've been a non-smoker for the same amnount of time! Just started into the realm of DIY E-juice's and discovered you guys on a link from ECF. Not much else I can say other than I'm here to listen & learn... Thanks.
