  1. I don't mix that big of batches to begin with. I start with 3ml and add drops of flavor to that. Just in case I hate something, I don't want to throw it out. Little batches aren't as hard to throw out. But so far I haven't thrown any out. I doubt I'd get to the point of having it too strong, but you never know.
  2. Good question. I don't know. I've had mine for a couple of months and it still seems good. But then how would I know? Hmmmm. Anyone have any answers?
  3. Whoa, Brian!!! You musta been having a heck of good time! LOL But, have you noticed that you're going through even more juice with the VP/PT? Cause it sure seems like I'm burning the stuff up fast. Maybe it's just me? Really, I'm vaping less now, I think, but the juice is going down faster. Just wondered if that happened to you.
  4. That was an amazing story. You have so much strength. Wow!!! After everything you've gone through, switching to vaping should be a cinch. I agree that you should have some cigs around - just in case. I didn't need them, but some have. It's best to stay calm as you learn to vape and if you don't have cigarettes around, you might lose your cool. You may not. But it's best to be prepared. The 510 is probably the best for you to start. A started kit will get you through a couple of months easy. If not more. Of course you need the juice, too. After you're first purchase, you can just use a bit of extra money each week or every other week, whenever, to stock up on supplies. Then, if you want to, start saving change or whatever you can to try and different model or mod. Just take your time, learn to vape, read a lot here, and figure it out as you go. Everyone is different, but you'll have it all figured out in no time.
  5. I think it was Christopher who had this one on here once - quite a long time ago. https://www.lorannoils.com/p-9017-glycerine-natural.aspx
  6. I'm in this one with you, McQuinn. I've been using the 12mg liquid from Tasty Vapor and using the same flavor of their doublers to get the nic level down to 6mg. I'm doing great with that and so started experimenting with going to 3mg. I seem to doing okay with that, too. If I get edgy at all, I go back to the 6mg and I'm fine. But that's the easy way to do it. I'm thinking I'll be able to get down to 0 very soon, but haven't set a date to do it by. So, I've started experimenting with flavors on mine own. I really don't have any answers for you yet. I have some VG and several Lorann's flavors, but haven't come up with something really great yet. What I've done seems a bit too thick, so I'm going to order some PG to thin the mixture down with. So far, it does seem like I have to use a lot of flavor, but then I'm still having trouble tasting the ejuices.
  7. Nice review. I'm new enough to all of this that I still don't know all of the places to order from. This is the first I've heard of Revolver Liquids.
  8. I'm so happy for you!! Glad you're liking the juices, too.
  9. Well....it looks like they both planned on doing it, so I guess it's funny. Seems a little odd to me, but then I'm not a fan of facebook or anything like it. But then I saw nothing good in joining a forum either and here I am. So, what can I say? LOL

    Custom Cases

I keep telling myself I don't need more "stuff". Then I come into the forum.... A good case to store all my spare parts would be nice. Although I have it in a small tote right now and that's working. I'm having a harder time finding something to store all my juice in. I keep looking though. Even as I tell myself I don't need more stuff.
  11. I've felt the same way about the 510 carts, so that's why I was thrilled to hear about using the 901's on the 510. It's been a long time since I used the 901 and don't have it anymore so I don't remember that much about it. Do those carts have the same kind of soft, flat whistle tip as the 801's? I like them. I like the round carts on the 510, but didn't like the hard whistle tips I had for awhile. I threw those away. I know, I'm picky, huh?
  12. I'm so happy you're feeling better about it Brian. You know how I hate to give bad advice. lol I was just so amazed that I liked the 302 atty more than the 510 - on this unit anyway. But Brian, why haven't you tried the wall plug yet? I used the usb port at first, but couldn't wait to try the wall plug. Since plugging it into the wall, I haven't put it back on the usb.
  13. I'm really doing good with my VP/PT and VP2 and didn't think I'd want anything else much. But thinking ahead to summer and being outside so much of the time, I got worried about pv's. I can't take the VP/PT outside with me. It's for in the house or in the car. The VP2 is too big to carry around outside or in my pocket. My 510 won't work well because of the short battery life. I wouldn't want to have be going inside to change and charge batteries. I've been thinking about the mega battery and that would help, but there is an issue with keeping the 510 in a pocket and accidently pushing the button. So I'm thinking the 510 is not my outside vape. That's why I'm thinking about the janty again. When I first thought about it I got some opinions that it just wasn't the best way to go because they had too many issues and it was hit and miss to get one that worked. But I think I heard that they've worked that out now. Or am I wrong about that? And now there is the joy stick. Is it pretty much the same as the janty stick? I'm interested in knowing about the battery life - how long does it last? What kind of battery does it use? How's the vapor? Enough questions for now. Sorry, I went overboard there.
  14. I would say you are well on your way to being well stocked on juice! You'll have to let us know what you think of each of them as you try them out.
  15. I've always been interested in the janty stick or now the joye stick - for something smaller and more portable to take with me outside. I've never used one, but would sure be interested in hearing more about them. How is yours on battery life?
  16. Welcome to the forum. I have to agree that the 510 would be your best bet. And a couple of bottles of juice. Then, as you can, get a spare battery and a spare atomizer...more juice. A passthru can be a big help, too. But that could come later. I haven't seen your other post yet, so hope I didn't say the same thing as everyone else. Don't worry about making mistakes here. We've all done our fair share of them. This is the first forum I've ever been on, too. Good luck with the vaping. I'll keep you in my prayers. Take care now.
  17. How's it going by now, Brian? I can't really say much about throat hit because I don't get much of that anymore since I've gone down so low on nic. The vapor is what has been so amazing to me. And I need that vapor for some reason.
  18. I think a lot of us have been where you are now - in a panic about running out of something and not being able to vape. That's why we've learned to stock up, stock up, stock up. So we know how you feel. I do like Dave and use my former analog budget on vaping to stock up. Okay, to be honest, I went overboard on the units for awhile, but I've calmed down on that now. I'm good on batteries and attys, but still want more juice. Good luck on getting some juice.
  19. I did not know I was an ecig geek. I guess I am cause I liked this. Very interesting.
  20. I wish it was part of it for me. The 510 thing, I mean. I've tried all my flavors on the 801/302 on the PT and still no flavor. Actually, the ones I could taste before are a bit stronger now, but still nothing on the others. Although there is a difference. That must mean there is a tiny bit of flavor there, but I can't tell what it is. And I know what you mean, I can taste food just fine. Just not the ejuice. Now I need to get back to adding the Lorann's to my juice to see what I can come up with.
  21. Thanks, I'll have to go take a look now.
  22. I have 2 recommendations. Arno at Awesome Vapor has the low bridge 801 attys (and you do want the low bridge). And MyVaporStore has a special on attys right now. If you buy 5 or more of the same kind of atty, you $1.00 off of each of them. They have the 302 atty (which is where I got the one I have right now and is the same thing as the low bridge 801) for $9.25, so if you got 5 of them, it would only be $8.25 each.
  23. Thanks! I'm using it now and it's going good. Took a little bit cause it was tasting nasty at first, but it's doing good now. I don't notice a difference yet between it and the 801 LB, but maybe the difference is how long they last - since you've been using your for 3 months. I like the sound of that. I have to order more now though. I only have 3 801 LB's and this one 302. I have 15 of the 510's now. I have a feeling they are going to last me a very long time since I won't be using them nearly as much as I was before.
  24. I'm kind of glad to hear you say you think juice is wasted by filling up a cart. I've been doing some of that lately, just to see what I think the difference is, and I thought I was going through more juice by filling the cart than I was direct dripping. Glad to hear that someone else might think so, too.
  25. When I first got the 801 LB and used it on my VP2, I thought it was awful. Then someone (and I'm not sure I remember right who that was, so won't embarrass myself by saying the wrong name) told me to take it slower on the draw and take a longer, deeper draw. That made a really big difference. It's a much different draw than what I take on the 510. When I switch between those two attys, it takes a few drags before I get it down right. I just have to pay attention and change the way I vape. I don't know if that helps at all, but thought I'd let you know since I had a problem with the 801 LB when I first got it.
